Another great lakeside Wisco Supper Club. I normally don't like to eat outside, but this was most pleasant. Got to see all the folks pulling up in their posh pontoon boats. ACE people watching! The place is dog-friendly, which tells a lot--these folks care. Food? All good. Wife had fried shrimp. I had Fish Tacos. Both top-notch. Home-made Chips were great. As I was facing a 300+ mile drive back home, I didn't have any boozes, but the iced tea was fab. Very cool atmosphere/ambiance, but food was not good and the service was a exceptionally slow. Our group of six arrived at about 1:30. There was a good crowd, but we were seated quickly. The waitress was fairly slow, so we couldn't order for about 30 min. At that point, the wait began--55 min, with multiple assurances from the waitress that the delay was not her fault, though she was unable to provide any estimate as to how much longer it would take for our sandwiches to be assembled. The final assurance came at about 2:50, with the waitress again stating "not my fault.". At this point, we really should have left, because the food proved to be unworthy of any wait. The Collasal Fish Sandwich was colossally awful--very fishy. And the salmon in the salmon wrap was fairly salty. Cool location--nice atmosphere on the water. But we won't be back. read more

I came in one day on my boat with the wife to see what this place was about, I got a drink made by I think his name was Billy as well it was so good he really takes his time with his cocktails. The food was decent as well. The VIBE was immaculate in there both the bartenders were upbeat people. The other one was tall and hot and kept on talking about his run that morning. But there was this regular with a backwards hat on and curly hair that kept talking to me nonstop. read more

This used to be a favorite place.. place is very dirty.. doors are filthy, paper all over under tables, tables were dirty, just very run down. I understand busy summers, but this is not good. One of the only places in minoaqua area we've found to be dog friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating, waterfront. Lovely atmosphere for a summer day. Classic boat drinks menu and pretty standard outdoor pub food. If you've got a dog and don't want to leave them heat-stroking in the car, I totally recommend here. Just make sure you've got a good dog. The tables are quite close and don't be that person that comes in and upsets the vibe. read more

We love this place. Great location. Yet EVERYTHING is STICKY. I've been here a few times this year and noticed that everything is sticky. The menus are disgusting. Doors, bathrooms and menus are handled by almost every customer and should be cleaned daily. Please review and make changes as we love coming here. read more

Ignore the few disgruntled locals, this is a great restaurant. We stopped in from out of town and decided to get an early lunch at Lakeside Grill. It's all outdoor seating and right on the lake so the view is spectacular. My friend and I ordered cheese curds, a chicken club sandwich and a mahi mahi sandwich. The food was excellent. Besides the fries being a little too crispy the meal was perfect. Also ordered a cocktail which was pretty tasty and pretty strong. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Lots of customers brought their dogs with them and the staff brought out water dishes for them. This is a very nice, scenic spot and will most likely visit again when in the area. read more

Tucked away in the trees and sits on the waters edge. A cute little gem. I had the shrimp appetizer and my brother had the colossal fish sandwich. Neither of us were disappointed. Full bar with good beer selections. If I'm ever in the area again I will for sure go back. read more

Great location on the busy chain. Pier and parking lot availability. Very busy on nice days. Lunch spot with a wide selection of food. Good bloody Mary's and other fun mixed drinks. Service was a tad slow but it's busy so I'll give it a slide. ;) most likely high school students/ college kids working in the summer. Waitress was friendly. Formerly Lakeside Landing used to be a great little casual hangout in the Minocqua area where locals could often be found mixing with tourists. One of only a few restaurants on the Minocqua chain, it was an awesome stop for Bloody Mary's, burgers, and back in the day, live music. A true joint. Since the entire area has gone "executive", it now feels more like the pseudo wanna be joint at a timeshare resort. I stopped for fish fry, which was choice of haddock at $13 shrimp at $14, or walleye at $18. The food was very average, coleslaw was warm, and no butter for bread. A bloody will set you back 8.50, though they did have a great Old Fashioned special. It's still a unique location, but I'll be drinking and dining elsewhere when in the Northwoods, and leaving Lakeside to the condo dwellers. read more

What? No one has reviewed this restaurant yet? I'm confused... Lakeside is a great little spot. It's tucked away off Hwy 51, down a residential street, at the end of the road and on a lake. I've been there probably half a dozen times now and I can honestly say that every time the food has been very good and the service has been equally good. This last time the food took maybe 4 minutes longer than it should have, but there were a lot of people there and I wouldn't have noticed except our kids starting complaining a bit. The setting is great. Boats pull up to the dock to stop for a bite, others zoom on by, and one time we even had an airplane land right in front of us for lunch. My kids were thrilled. There is a little play area that the kids can enjoy while the adults sip cocktails, talk and wait for their food. I would, in fact, give it 5 stars but Yelp keeps filtering my completely legitimate reviews (and I have to say, it's highly annoying), so I'll keep it at 4 stars and hope they don't hijack my feedback! read more

The food was great! We had a classic burger and mushroom and Swiss. My husband commented the kettle chips must have been homemade as they were some of the best he's had. Service was friendly but slow. Take note, it was a gorgeous summer day and there were multiple groups of 6 or more. It's a small place so I imagine the kitchen was working overtime to keep up. The food service may take awhile, the menus are disgusting, during busy times it's not easy to dock up your boat but you won't be disappointed with the drinks or the food. Best bahama mama on the chain and I've tested them all:)... We really enjoy the Friday fish dinner. Great people willing to lend a helping hand Recently, my wife and I were in Lake Tomahawk staying at a co-workers cabin, and we took the boat out for a day on the water. As we neared the end of our stay, we decided to gas up the boat at the Lakeside Grill before heading home. After gassing up, we attempted to pull away from the dock and realized that the motor wouldn't go back down - the prop was stuck just above the water. Needless to say, it was a total pain, but some friendly boaters towed us back to the dock after we'd drifted a few hundred yards - just before a big storm hit. Upon landing, we talked with Guy, the owner, and he offered to take a look at the boat for us. He came out and looked at the motor for about 10 minutes while it started to rain and thunder, but we couldn't figure it out. Guy invited us inside where he let us know that we could leave the boat tied up overnight and leave the keys with him to be fixed in the morning. In addition to that, Adam - the bartender - gave us a 20 minute ride home and Allison - another bartender - gave us her information to provide to the boat owner to help facilitate the maintenance work in the morning. As you can imagine, it was a very stressful afternoon, but Guy, Adam, and Allison were all incredibly helpful and kind to us. We are truly appreciative of their help and willingness to help folks in need of a hand. The next time we're in the area, we will definitely be back to have lunch, a few drinks, and some laughs about our misadventure. Thank you, Lakeside Grill! read more

Great location on Minocqua chain. Perfect spot to go to by boat DURING THE WEEK. Weekday dinning us great they have an impressive full menus and drinks are consistently good. Weekend dining is not ideal. They have a short weekend menu with half the options. Drinks are hit and miss and by Sunday they are out of half the ingredients on the sort menu. If you only go on the weekend you wouldn't know the difference. Beautiful outdoor dining. But food is meh read more

The mushroom Swiss burger with caramelized onions was out of this world fantastic. Chef Dave shared his secret recipe for the onions. We sat on the deck with beautiful lake views. Super friendly wait staff. No wait...immediate seating and food showed up timely. They substituted chips and pico de gallo for the rice that was to be the side for my shrimp, which was okay but would have preferred to be given choice of other sides. read more

This was hands down the WORST service I have EVER received at a restaurant. Lyndsey U could have not done more stuff incorrectly. She started off by messing up all are orders. We had to ask for water 4 times. When we asked for our orders to be fixed she gave us sass and told us that is what we ordered. She hit one of the people in my party's head with a plate. At the end of the meal when we asked for separate checks she rolled her eyes and walked away, and made another waitress give us her check. This meal was not enjoyable at all, and we would recommend Lakeside grill to do a better job in hiring their servers. Absolutely horrible experience. I never give bad reviews but I am just completely horrified by the experience that I just had. We waited for an hour and a half and then finally ordered our food and waited for a half an hour only to be told that it would be another 45 minutes when we inquired about the status of our order. My family and I decided to go to lakeside for dinner tonight and honestly all I can say that was good was the view. As locals we try to get out and help support our community. I will have to say that we won't be dining here any time soon. To start we sat at our table for at least 5 minutes before anyone greeted us, then when we got our drinks I asked for a lid and a straw for my 14 month olds milk. Well after waiting for a while my husband just went in and got it. When our waitress finally came back to take our order she didn't even acknowledge the lids. When we finally got our food we noticed that the bacon on my wrap and my husband's burger ( which he had to ask for) was all fat and was deep fried. Seriously who serves deep fried bacon. Then when we got our bill I noticed at I was charged for 3 diet cokes. No where on the menu does it say no free refills and when we asked our server about she just said " oh ya" . I don't mind paying for what we got but it would have been nice to been aware when I order my 3rd refill. I have to say that we have been going to lakeside for years and never have we had such horrible service and food. Quite dissapointing. read more

Favorite place to bring out of town guests. I have been here for lunch many times over the years and you just can't beat the fun, casual atmosphere. Right on Lake a Tomahawk. Has terrific food. Love their raspberry lemonade. They have fun games for the kids outside. Just dont go when you are in a hurry because the wait for food was always 45-60 mins every time we went. read more

Stopped at the Lakeside Grill last Saturday for dinner and enjoyed the overall experience very much. The wait staff did a great job and were very friendly and attentive. Food was great. I had the Cajun shrimp wrap and was not disappointed. After dinner we enjoyed beverages out on the patio and enjoyed watching all the boats, skiers and wake boarders on the lake. My steak was excellent! From the seasoning to hard to get perfect temp. Service was way above what I expected. I was greeted & seated immediately. The server took my order and my food was served very promptly. I see myself returning many more times in the future. read more
