Then the steak sandwich. I remember back in the day the meat was cubed but the way they cut it is fine. And they still had the steak sauce they used back then. So good. If I had remembered I would have done without the sauce that comes on it so I could just have the steak sauce but it was fine. So good. Worth the visit. The burgers and ribeye steaks here are fairly priced and better than you get at many far fancier and way more expensive restaurants. I've eaten a LOT of steaks and enjoyed plenty of good steak nights around the New Orleans area but the ribeye here is by far one of the best I've had anywhere. The service at the bar and at the tables is quick, friendly and overall just a great experience. This is some of the best bar food I've had anywhere and just one of the best options for a great steak and burger at a great price anywhere. I remember they served cucumber slices upon request, not sure if they still do that. The lunch entrees were Almond chicken salad for my wife. Our friend ordered the Thai rib plate and I had the Crispy duck. As far as I know, my food was excellent, the duck was well cooked and moist. The Thai ribs are usually always good, no doubt that has changed, I stole one of my friends ribs. It went to good use. My wife said the main salad was good, but she feels the chicken itself lacked flavor, but since this is my review, only my opinion matters, lol. The Thai ribs were very good. I love the corn grits and the zea potatoes. For me, I feel this was my best meal I've had all year so far. Would I come back? Heck yeah. You buying? I overall, love the change.
