This was my first visit to the dentist in about 5 years. I'm a retired Marine, so the dental care I know is through Naval Medicine. This experience was absolutely amazing! Not lying. Dr. Burk took very good care in his examination. There was no shame, no judging. He was professional and kind to include his dental assistant as well! The examination was very thorough. I was impressed at what I saw. He would take time to explain what was going on. He educated me on the numbers he was saying. He clearly wants to keep you in the loop so you are able to make informed decisions about your dental care. He doesn't tell you what you need to do, as if he were selling something. He gives suggestions with your concerns in mind. Dr. Burk doesn't just want to pull your teeth and give you implants. He encourages you that your original teeth are the best option (depending the circumstances). The office was very pleasant. it didn't have that medical smell like a doctor's office would. It was warm and pleasant with an outstanding and clean playlist playing in the background. Come to this Dental office for true first class service! I just moved back from Phoenix and was a bit nervous about finding a good dentist. I have had a couple bad ones in the past. Dr. Burk is an AMAZING dentist. If I could give 100 stars I really would! This is hands down the best experience I have ever had with a dentist office and dentist. Dr. Burk is so knowledgeable. He really loves what he does and it shows. I have never had so many pictures to look at of my gums, bones, and teeth. He shows you everything he is seeing and explains what it means as well as answers questions. He does not push you into making decisions. The staff is amazing as well! You feel like you are at home talking to family or friends. I will definitely be using Lakeview Dental as my primary office. Dr. Burk is a grade-A jerk. I saw him when I first moved to the area several years ago and at my recent office visit, he had a complete cow that I had gotten some fillings done with a different physician. He was so concerned about my care at a different dentist that he NEVER asked me about my health issues, of which there are many, and which he absolutely did not know about because they have arisen, since I last saw him a few years ago. The receptionist confirmed that when I spoke to her saying, "Oh, there was a computer issue. He didn't have access to your health information." I'm sitting there in slackjaw amazement. It's that doggone hard to ask me or review it with me on the tablet I used to fill it out? Yes, it takes time, but my health is important to me, whether he thinks so or not. Furthermore, after years of seeing another dental professional, he informed me that he was supposed to direct my care for me and tell me where I could go for my care. Then, he apparently has some level of relationship with the physician I *was* seeing and intentionally made it ugly, when I cancelled my appointment. He made it so ugly, that the one doctor, who respected me and was concerned about my health, had to drop me as a patient because Dr. Burk, diva extraordinaire, had a snit. I have a PPO. With a PPO, I get to direct my care and he should be working in partnership with ME! That means I can get dental care wherever I want and it's not up to him, despite his nonsense that he gets to direct my care. He gets to tell me what needs to get done and I get to decide WHERE I get it done. I don't know him, he didn't remember me, and they'd never cleaned my teeth, just xrays and NO FOLLOW-UP. Additionally, he clearly was making no effort to know my health concerns and then, made the other doctor feel so bad, he had to drop me. He's a bit too full of himself and his so-called "care" of his patients is definitely LACKING. I also came in to an empty office with the door open, on time, and no one to greet me or the other two patients waiting with me for a good 10 minutes. The patient, who was there first, had some kind of insurance issue and left abruptly, clearly furious with whoever she had dealt with. She said that she was very frustrated trying to attempt family scheduling with this office and that she had an unaddressed insurance issue. Reading the reviews, I see that that kind of insurance crap has happened to others before. Furthermore, do not waste my or other patients' time waiting for your "team meeting" to conclude. Schedule me at the actual time you are going to see me, for crying out loud. My experience was that Dr. Burk is more interested in his bottom line than giving a fig whether or not I'm healthy. I do NOT recommend this office at all. I'm taking my care elsewhere because he does NOT actually care about his patients. Yes, I got my teeth cleaned, but two hours later, they were still bleeding because I am on blood thinners, which he didn't bother to find out about. I had been with my dentist for over 25 years. I had made the 1.5 hour trip even after we moved. But it was time to make changes and find a new dentist. We did some research and found Lakeview. Wow! What a wonderful experience, they made the transition easy. The staff are kind and ready to help. I had some unexpected dental issues that they were able to address right away. I can't honestly say I like going to the dentist, but I can honestly say they make it easy and painless. I had some questions and concerns at our first appointment and Elizabeth the receptionist answered every question I had. Elizabeth clarified all my concerns effortlessly setting my mind at ease resulting in establishing care for my entire family. We are a family of 7. We were able to get our family in and be seen the same week. My husband had such a pleasant experience with Dr Le. He was very attentive to all his concerns. He made him feel very comfortable as he did the initial exam. My oldest daughter felt great about her experience. The dental assistant was very kind to her as she was guided retrieving X-rays. My kids were pleased with the services and the mannerisms from the moment you walk into the door to the moment you exit. As far as my experience (momma - saving the best for last haha) I had a wonder experience. From the moment I walked through the door and saw my Name on their screen "welcome Bianca" made me feel very special!! (By the way that was the welcome sign for each one in our family.) Being greeted by the beautiful staff as you check in with them I noticed how clean and peaceful the waiting area felt. The music they played was good- up beat and soothing at the same time. When I was called back I was taken for X-rays right away. Their machine was very well sanitized and pretty cool as it provided information out loud when the X-rays were completed. The dental assistant was very kind and made sure I felt comfortable in the dental chair. She was very patient as she did different angle X-rays as I sat on the chair because I did have a little hard time bitting down. The dental assistant also took video of my mouth which I felt was pretty cool so that the dentist had actual footage of my mouth and be able to guide me correctly with any treatment required. I got to meet and speak to Dr. Le and let me tell you... his bed side manners are unmatched. He took time to get to know a little more about me outside the normal medical questions. I provided some of my fears and he set my mind at ease with opportunities to overcome or deal with such fears in a positive way. I am very thankful my family and I found a dental location that makes us feel safe, welcome and more than anything- heard. Looong review I know, but give them a ring. I had to change my dentist because I moved. I chose this dentist based on reviews from Yelp. I had a horrible experience. I went in for a check up and cleaning. I ended up being sold a "total mouth reconstruction". I get check ups every six months. Ive never been told anything like this before. Not even close. I went to get my teeth cleaned, but got taken to the cleaners. And...They ended up not cleaning my teeth. Her office staff promised to reschedule, but I haven't heard anything from them. Don't go here. In my opinion, it's a high tech scam. read more

It's unfortunate that I have to leave a negative review for this practice. Up until now, I have received great service from them (the only reason they are not receiving one star from me.) On 2/23/19, I saw one of their new doctors, and he convinced me to have an old filling removed and replaced so that he could clean behind it. It wasn't something that was urgent but should be done eventually. They said they would check with my insurance to determine my cost (which came out to $144 out of pocket.) I paid the full amount and scheduled my appointment for 2/26/19. Here we are a month later, and my claim has been completely denied by my insurance company because they only cover fillings once every 36 months and my last filling was 34 months ago. Had the receptionist checked with my insurance properly, I could have easily waited two months and only paid 20% of the total cost of $238. Instead I am stuck with a $238 bill. I understand that I signed something saying that it is an "estimate only" but seems odd that they couldn't at least check to see if my insurance would deny the claim entirely. And if they estimated based on that 20%, why did they have me pay $144 to begin with? read more

I visited the Clermont St Location: As with most people, going to the dentist let alone going to a new dentist is not something I was looking forward to. This an amazing experience though. EVERYONE from the person who took the initial appointment to checking out were just great. Kind, courteous, professional. It had been a few years since my last appointment when my previous dentist retired. I was nervous, everyone understood and did everything they could to ease my fears. I found a new dentist!! read more
