I went here when I was 16-18 years old I'm 30 now bin some years the guy messed my teeth up as he was prepping one for a crown he intentionally drilled the tooth behind it I thought he did to cuz I felt it but I'm forsure now it was his doing . Don t go here he's luck y I don't go do something to him for messing with my health but I'm pretty sure karma will get you . The lady that helped that day also saw it and didn't say nothing . This dentist office is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Dr. Brandon Braud is the best dentist I have ever had in my life. His assistant; Candy was so nice, made me feel comfortable, she was amazing. The whole team there are the best! They answered any questions I had, made me feel so comfortable, they weren't rough like other dentist offices and have gone above and beyond what any other dentist has ever done for me! I am telling you, if I couldn't go through them I wouldn't go to any other dentist-they would NOT compare! Okay, I have to give credit where credit is due: A couple weeks ago my boyfriend was in severe pain. To the point that he was awake pacing, using some dental pain reliever I assume is "turbo oragel" and complaining. He actually begged me to take him to a dentist. My boyfriend avoids dentists like they are the plague. He won't admit his fear, but I will. So he doesn't know where to go, because he won't even let me drag him in for a cleaning. Well, I instantly think of Dr. Braud, I know he accepts pretty much any insurance. So I give my boyfriend the number, fed him ibuprofen, and went to sleep, as I had to be up around 4:30AM. By 9AM when they opened, he was able to call and beg to be seen same day. Which ain't easy, as they book out sometimes for a month or two in advance. They managed to fit him in and get everything done by 3pm that afternoon. Dr. Braud found two really impacted wisdom teeth and a tooth needing a filling. He extracted both wisdom teeth that day, it only took him less than 30 minutes. As someone who also fears the dentist, my mind is at ease if I don't have to be there longer than an hour. Now, he didn't want to do that much work in one day as he generally goes with a lot less stressful visits, but my boyfriend was in so much pain they had no choice! It took my boyfriend a while to heal, but he has always been a slow healer. Dr. Braud fit him in for a recheck to ease his mind and assure him that he's healing just fine. Dr. Braud is great for those who don't want to go to the dentist. He understands you are scared and doesnt talk down to you or give false reassurance. His staff are very honest and always willing to do what is best for you, not their wallets. I can see why he is booked. I will be scheduling all my work in advance now. I have never really had fears of the dentist, but now I do. We came to this dentist as we had switched insurances and they were on the list and had great Yelp reviews. I saw an awesome hygienist here. However, things went downhill after my cleaning. The hygienist I saw was gentle, qualified and professional. She said I have great teeth, as I take care of them very well-brush 2x/day, floss. Said I maybe had one cavity. The dentist, Dr. Salazar was in the room for maybe 2 minutes, didn't so much as introduce herself, and said I had 3. My husband who also takes great care of his teeth, meanwhile gets a diagnosis of 7 cavities. The real reason I'm giving this dentist a bad review is the treatment I received on a Saturday to get these cavities filled. Dr. Braud, who was in the room 3 minutes to drill my cavity, told me that he hates working Saturdays. Okay, that's humorous, especially when I'm paying nearly $500 for what comes next. I'm sure he's unaware so hopefully this will get his attention, since we can't through his staff. He drilled my tooth a little and left the room and let his dental assistant do the rest which I'm sure is probably the norm. The table was not elevated backwards for her to have a good view into my mouth, as the tooth was an upper molar. She was also standing the whole time...which I've ever seen people standing to fill my teeth in the past. Seemed like right off the start she had somewhere to be. She got frustrated after trying to fill it for 30 minutes, pulling my lips around, hitting them with her tools repeatedly and saying "you just have a small mouth, I'm just going to get someone else to fill it." The next girl that came in, was crying, blowing her nose (luckily briefly washed her hands after?), apologized again and again for crying while saying, "sorry if I get my tears on you". I felt bad for her & had to comfort her and tell her it's okay. (I just have severe TMJ and am sitting here with my mouth open for 45 minutes, with no break & people bruising my lips isn't making me want to cry) she said first off that the chair was in the wrong position She proceeded to talk to the other assistant about how "he" the dentist(?) was treating her and that he should apologize. I felt bad that they had so much workplace drama that day, but I really paid for it. I'm not sure which dental assistant it was, but by the next day, I discovered I had two cuts in my face, (I had noticed my cheeks were burning when I left the room & one girl wiped the spot where I had a cut so she had to have known about it). My husband called their office today because his tooth has been hurting worse since his work on Saturday, (who he said also seemed in a rush) and the receptionist was just talking to someone else in the background the whole time and was getting annoyed with his call. I really do hold off on writing reviews because I know how they can hurt a business. But when you don't get a response in person, or on the phone, what choice are you left with? Patients need to be heard. These people really don't care about their current business, maybe because they already have all these other good reviews. All I can say is, I came in here for the reviews--that I saw talking about what a courteous staff there was (my hygienist was good). Well, that's not what we experienced Saturday and really every time we talk to reception. I asked the receptionist to check what we owed and it was $482 for 3 cavities. She huffed and puffed & rolled her eyes when I asked her questions about my insurance. Don't go here, (especially on a Saturday! They don't want to be there, they'll even tell you!) they not only seem like they're ripping people off, but I sustained lacerations on my cheek and lip. These are the reasons people are terrified of going to dentists. I can't attest for who the other yelp reviews are by, but I'm a real patient, and you can't make this kind of story up. It is a well known fact among my family and friends that I am TERRIFIED of the dentist (mainly because of a needle phobia). So, when I moved to Denver from out of state and started feeling like I was getting a cavity I was not very happy about it to say the least. I started looking at Yelp reviews for a lot of dentists in the area and came across this practice. I read through the comments and decided to give it a shot after seeing all of the positive things people have said about it. Parking was a little difficult because they were having a busy day but it wasn't impossible to find a spot. When I went in, the receptionist warmly greeted me and gave me my new patient paperwork to fill out. Dr. Braud was standing on the other side of the counter and could see that I was nervous and immediately started a conversation with me even though I know he was busy. He took a few moments to reassure me that they would take great care of me and make the experience as painless and comfortable as possible. He also didn't make me feel silly or embarrassed about the fact that I was scared like I have had some doctors made me feel in the past- like my fear was just a waste of their time. But Dr. Braud was not like that AT ALL. He was very compassionate, understanding, and patient. I finished my paperwork and had to wait approx 15-20 min before I got called back to the exam room. The dental assistant was just as reassuring as Dr. Braud had been and definitely helped my nerves and reduced my anxiety level. Dr. Braud came in shortly after for my exam and let me know that I was going to need to have a filling done. His demeanor was completely professional, calm, collected, and reassuring. He explained exactly what I could expect from the procedure, even down to demonstrating the noise the drill would make. He gave me nitrous oxide to help relax and started the numbing. Usually this is the part that scares me the most but the techniques he used when giving the injection caused very very little pain, like barely anything at all. And he was talking to me the entire time to help distract me. I actually felt pretty silly afterwards for making such a big deal out of it! I closed my eyes through the rest of the procedure and before I knew it, it was over. I will definitely be going back here for any future dental appointments and I just hope I don't ever move again so that I don't have to find another dentist because the doctors at Commerce City Family Dentist will be very very hard to beat!! read more

Really, I'm terrified of dentists. I went 26 years without a dentist visit but recently I started having unavoidable problems with my teeth. I held out as long as I could and I finally went in to see Dr. Braud. He was exceptional. He treated me great and is in the process of fixing my mess of problems. This is the first review I have ever written on Yelp. I typically don't like leaving reviews, but this place merits one. First, like many people I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. I've had tons of work done in the past (two rounds of braces, pre-molars extracted...) and would usually avoid the dentist like the plague. So, when it came time to suck it up and get my wisdom teeth removed, I looked around for the best reviews. Commerce City Family Dentist had raving reviews and noticed others that had strong fears felt comfortable there. This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to! I won't go anywhere else and it is worth the drive to Commerce City. Not only was the doctor sweet and reassuring, his assistant was just as kind and comforting. While attempting to reschedule an appointment I asked what was the earliest Appointment they had a available to which she replied " 9am - the dentist has a family". I didn't understand why this was her response. However as I continued to make an appointment she went further into the details of the dentist personal life and how the practice has gone from 2 to 1 providers. I didn't care. I recently had my wisdom teeth and a couple fillings done and I really couldn't be happier. The staff and the doctors made you feel comfortable and really took care of you. My recovery was fast and no complications like I thought there would be. I would recommend this to anyone just because of how gentle and great the doctors can be. This place is AMAZING... I had my PANCREAS, gallbladder,and spleen taken out two years ago. It left my teeth week and I have had to have multiple emergency fixes. This place has been great. My three kids are also clients 6, 9 ,and 17 and they love this place too.. I couldn't remember who I had insurance with "Yea right" like they have never heard that..? First and foremost, I am a bit picky about who puts their hands in my mouth, as we all should be. I couldn't be happier with the amount of cleanliness and hospitality the staff showed, I immediately felt welcome. As a self identifying "wuus" when it comes to needles, I can tell you Dr. Braud, along with his comical boots, made me feel right at home. I thank them for that. I hadn't seen a dentist in many years until the discomfort from an impacted tooth demanded immediate attention. I was ashamed by my appearance and obvious neglect. The entire staff at Commerce City Family Dentist are welcoming and made me feel at ease before and during my procedure. I have a low tolerance for pain and was pleasantly surprised by the Doctor's gentle precision while extracting my offending tooth.
