Small kitchen and bathroom in cabin 3. Besides that and the carpenter ants we enjoyed our stay. Oh, also others did not respect "quiet time" so we didn't sleep too well some nights. We loved the location so close to the boardwalk and beach, beautiful and quiet in the morning for my running pleasure, then nice and happening once the family woke up and we went back down. Reasonable rates. We would stay again. Loved relaxing on the porch at night reading stories to our kids. Super cute, they loved playing out on the lawn as well. read more

Lakeview House & Cottages - Loved the view - Hotels Near Me - Weirs Beach, New Hampshire

Inexpensive, near the beach, quaint and clean. I stayed in a room in the main building (which houses the office). The room has only a sink with multiple shared tiny bathrooms scattered on the second and third floors. Very doable, but certainly not the norm. The people were friendly. I'll be back! Although they are not handicap accessible which limits my family's use. read more

We stayed here for 8 nights over the 4th of July and yet again we had an awesome time! To start, the staff and owner are extremely friendly and accommodating, always making sure our stay was great. Our room (room 9) was an ideal size, clean and decorated nicely. The view of the lake/mountains from the 3rd floor was so good, I almost didn't want to leave the room. Each morning you wake up to a variety of fresh muffins (usually three different types), fresh coffee and teas. They also have a microwave and toaster oven if you want to heat up a meal or a snack and propane grills if you feel like making a meal. The location was perfect, besides the breathtaking views, we were within 5 minutes from several restaurants/bars and a 2 minute walk to the boardwalk and Pier. When we decided to relax and not hit the lake, the pool was perfect (two of them). This is our third year and our 8th or 9th time staying here - always in the main house. It really was an amazing week and the Lakeview House was such an awesome place! Highly recommend it! read more

Awesome place to stay over summer, super Close to the pier and shops. The staff are outstanding, always happy to help and always smiling. We stayed in one of the detached cottages, it was lovely and quiet, had an adequate kitchen with pots pans and silverware. The bathroom was a little small, but that just added to the quaint lakeside appeal of the cottage. We will definitely be staying here again! read more

"Cottage 2 is terrible!" We stayed here two nights for $149/night. I was so disappointed, as it was the end of 3 wonderful weeks of touring around New England and staying in little B&B's. What a sad way to end our trip. They say cozy cottage with kitchenette. It was so tiny. The kitchenette was drainer, sink, stove. The micro/coffee maker etc. were across the room on a credenza. You can cook in it, but not a table to sit at and it had 1 chair. The bathroom was so tiny, and zero place to put your cosmetics/dob kit. The room was technically "clean" but they had not put any of the $149/night money back into this particular cottage. I have included pictures of the tiny bathroom, with a moldy shower floor, (not sure what they are hiding under those pieces of wood), rusted heater, weathered floor, loosened light bulb above bed and poorly covered windows and curtains. We returned from a day of ventures, bed was unmade etc, so no service to the cabins for this price. I want to indicate that my tastes are usually that I am very fine with small, older cabins, but, speaking specifically about Cottage 2... I was sadly disappointed and the fact that they can rent it for $149/night and that they do not appear to "care" that it is not up to the standards that they should have, makes me wonder about the other cabins. I absolutely loved our stay at the cottage!!!!! Cottage 2 to be exact, which is the smallest, but I fell in love with it!!!!! So cozy and has everything you need!!!!! The shower is a bit small, ok really small and there's a few carpenter ants that bit me (but only in the bathroom)!!!! The view is perfect and picturesque, like a postcard!!!!!! The weather is divine!!!!!!! Warm summer days like 75, cooler at night. Lake Winnepeesake is gorgeous and delightful to swim in!!!!! It's a fresh water beach!!!!!!! Then there's Weir's Beach which is great as well!!!!!! The drive in movie has a double feature and people set up little camps with beach chairs and make hot dogs, also there's a concession stand with deep fried Oreos that are so yummy!!!!!! Shaws is one of the local grocery stores and is like a whole foods meets Publix but better!!!!!! Had jumbo crab cakes almost every day for $7!!!!!!!! With sides!!!!! McDonalds had lobster rolls for $8.99!!!!!!!!! Amazing!!!!!!! There's so much to explore, lotsa hills so prepare to get fit my darlings!!!!!!! All in all, I have nothing but rainbows and unicorns and sunshine to report back about the cottage and everything Laconia has to offer and explore!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to go back!!!!!!! P.S. Go to Art Escape in Laconia to make some killer cool glass work, paint, tye dye tshirts and make something amazing out of clay- it was a blast and Amy & Teresa couldn't be more wonderful if they tried!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend and I got a room here for $140 a night for a 3 night stay in the heart of adorable Weirs Beach in peak tourist season with a great lake view - can't be beat in my opinion. The attitude of the staff was unpretentious, warm and accommodating. We were up for a big triathlon - and when I asked what time coffee was served, they asked what time most of the athletes would be up. I responded honestly and said between 4 and 5. So, they woke up and put coffee out at 4 am. Our room was a cottage (that was actually attached to the house, but felt like a cottage - separate entrance) that was perfect for the two of us. Sure, it is an old place and you'll see some paint peeling, but we found it was full of character and quite charming. We really felt comfortable and at home in our cottage and the courtyard layout let us even get friendly with some of the neighbors. Thanks for a great stay! We'll definitely be back, we're even thinking about skipping the race next time :-) Quite the gem right on Lake Winnipesaukee. read more

I was unhappy when I checked out. I wrote a review at booking.com mentioned that I found blood on the sheets. The owner & one of the staff read my review & talked to me. Instead of apologizing to me. They sounded like that blood came from. I don't usually write a review & just leave. But something like I should say something. They were saying that over the years that their has good reviews about cleanliness. True but as a guest I can never expect that a 100%. And one of the staff was siding with the owner. And she said that she cleaned that room. And again she was putting it on me. It was turning into an argument. As a guest they should still respect me. I just walked away & said I do t want to argue. Then something struck me. When I was in their shared bathroom on the 3/F. I got locked in. No one was around except for that housekeeper who just cleaned the room next to me. I felt someone had locked me in. I shook the door; trying to let myself out. No one heard me. I forced myself out. It should've been a nice checkout. But only that review I wrote it turned out as an unpleasant day. read more

Every attraction is close to this location literally a few blocks away from weirs beach and funspot is only a half mile from here!!!!! Would not spend your money here! We were told and asked specifically if we had a pull out couch and we were told yes. But when we got to the cottages, the couch turned out to be about a two person couch that doesn't pull out. We also made sure that there would be central air conditioning due to severe asthma and lung problems with one of the guests and management told us we did. When we got to the cottage it turned out to be one small, tiny ac that didn't work well throughout the house. We left to go out and when we drove by the street, there was workers snooping around our cottage. Before we left, we also witnessed one of the workers staring at our cottage throughout the window of the office. It was a very unsettling weekend while staying there. I would not recommend this place to anyone spending money to stay up here!! You could find a cheaper place around here with better service. read more

I've stayed here a few times but never really decided to write a review. After this last time I felt it was time to rave about this great little spot. My family and I went up for vacation last year and are ready for another round this year. The staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating. The place itself is beautiful and there is lots to do with the family. The owner books and teaches how to water ski/wakeboard. it was an amazing time! If there is one place you want to stay in the weirs beach area, it's definitely here!!!! read more

Love the Lakeview Inn at WEIRS BEACH near Laconia NH! Stayed there 4 times over 40 yrs and its always a great experience.

Have been coming up here for three years now with friends. Nice little cottage. Good location, good service, good price. Good pool!

Buyer Beware: I reserved through hotels.com, which advertised a "free cancellation" policy, but when I cancelled less than 2 hours later, The Cozy Inn charged a 10% fee, and the hotel managers, when called, adamantly refused to refund. The 10% quickly becomes 50%, a tidy sum. Read the fine print, however, it's not posted until after you book, lol! Oh well. read more
