We came up to Church Landing at Mills Falls for a long weekend right at the start of the off-season, and it turned out to be exactly the kind of getaway we were looking for. Meredith is beautiful any time of year, but there was something especially nice about being here when things were a little quieter. From the moment we arrived, the whole place had the atmosphere we were hoping for: quaint, clean, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. Our room was spacious, lovely, and very comfortable, and we absolutely loved the view. There is something about waking up beside the lake that makes it very easy to forget about whatever is waiting for you back home. The property is beautifully maintained, and everything we encountered was clean and in good condition without feeling overly polished or stuffy. It has the character you want from a New Hampshire lakeside inn, but still feels like a place where you can settle in and relax. The spa was probably one of the highlights of the weekend. We had treatments that were exceptionally relaxing, and the hot tubs overlooking the lake were the perfect place to unwind afterward. Sitting in a hot tub with the lake right in front of you is a pretty good way to spend an afternoon, especially when you aren't in any particular hurry to be anywhere else. The whole experience felt peaceful without being pretentious. We also really enjoyed the dining here. The restaurant and bar had friendly, attentive servers who were happy to help without hovering, and the food was very enjoyable. We had a delicious breakfast in the dining room each morning, which became a nice little part of our routine. There is something about having breakfast at a place like this when you're on a long weekend that makes you slow down a bit. No rushing out the door, no worrying about the commute, just coffee, breakfast, and the lake outside. What really stood out throughout our stay, though, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. It sounds like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference. We never felt like we were bothering anyone when we had a question or needed something, and there was a genuine warmth to the service that made the entire stay more enjoyable. Church Landing also benefits enormously from its location. Meredith and the surrounding Lakes Region are beautiful, and being right on the water gives the property a wonderful sense of place. You can come here and fill your days with restaurants, shops, boating, hiking, and exploring, or you can do what we did and spend a good portion of the weekend simply enjoying the property. We really enjoyed our stay, loved the room and the view, and thought the spa treatments were exceptional. Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully done. Most importantly, we left feeling relaxed, which is really the point of a long weekend away. We are already planning on coming back again soon. We had a nice March weekend at this hotel. We ended up staying across the street at Mills Falls. The hotel is charming. There is no desk staff at the hotel we were in. Our room was large and has three beds. This was perfect for me and my two teenagers. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub. There is no breakfast. They have coffee and granola bars available for free. The carpets were dated. The hallways were dark. Reminded us of The Shining. The hot tub was very small. One of the lights had fallen out of the pool and was laying on the bottom of the deep end. We only paid $139 per night. Off season prices. We would stay here again. But I am not sure I would want to pay extra summer rates for a hotel that needs some updated. read more

We stayed here for a work retreat we were hosting this week. Stunning views, beautifully appointed rooms with fireplaces and balconies, warm and friendly staff. Standouts for me were the Lakehouse Grille food and cocktails, the social hour food and drinks served on the lawn at the Chase House; the lovely warm indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs overlooking the lake, the waitstaff, catering staff, front desk folks, and my favorite- the kind, committed woman who took diligent care of the pools and hot tubs. I enjoyed the sunrise with her and her kindness in letting me take a dip to watch it rise! Thank you for making my stay memorable. I highly recommend you book a stay here. One of the highlights of my trip. Wandered in, on an off-season weeknight, to get dinner. The restaurant, Lago, had a fabulous drink and food menu. The wait staff and hostess were phenomenal. Food well prepared, and served at exactly the right time ( I hate when they bring the entree while you're enjoying the appetizer). Views over the lake were exceptional. Worth the splurge! I decided to ask about a room, and again received exquisite service. Got a balcony king suite overlooking the lake and thoroughly enjoyed it. So relaxing to sit on the balcony with a book and a drink! Cannot say enough in favor of a stay here. Hi! I took my husband out for his birthday on Sunday night, July 23rd: we were a party of 7! We have been dining here for the last few years; more often in the winter to support the non-tourism season but enjoyed going by boat too! I always order the Half Chicken--plain & It's always been delicious; until this night when it came out undercooked. We understand many restaurants are understaffed and of course summertime craziness. Our food took almost 1h 30m to come out--minus one appetizer as a meal. Like most ppl., we wait for all meals to be plated & then eat. I asked the manager about it and he said he just handed it to a server & it would be right out. 15-minutes later, still no appetizer Our poor waitress --she was amazing & kept asking herself, but nothing and the manager was MIA. Finally, after another 5-minutes, the plate comes out. My husband cuts into his chicken and it's undercooked. The manager comes over & doesn't ask how he can make it right with something else; he stated, well, argued that it was cooked and about the cook temperature, etc., I have had this same meal countless times and I assure you; I've never cut into a sight like this. While speaking with him, I asked his name as I had forgotten when I had introduced myself and asked about the appetizer. He says, my name is Don, then spells it for me D-O-N! Tables all around were upset with how long food was taking and he says to them, and us, that the kitchen is having an off night. Ok--get it, again, understand staffing challenges. Him as a manager, lied about the app, then went MIA --his communication on the chicken, then kitchen, then spelling his name--completely unacceptable. He did comp the meal, but my husband left hungry, and I was appalled at his customer service. I took the plated chicken to 4 different tables waiting to order/be seated and showed them the chicken. They couldn't believe he said it was cooked and two of the parties left after that. We have always enjoyed going here, always pleasant staff and good food. We sit at the bar and enjoy interacting with the staff/patrons. We haven't been back since because of how disrespectful he was to us, & unnecessarily. Hoping at some point, we go back. We believe in customer service and always are respectful and understanding. Still giving a 4 review because we have enjoyed dining here, the staff is great and one bad night doesn't deserve a lower rating. D-O-N, however; needs to go back to customer service 101! P.S. Construction is currently underway on the lakefront. The loud machinery and cutting through stone began at 7:30am ,putting a damper on what should have been a peaceful day. Front desk staff were unaware. No empathy from management who stated the construction should have started at 8. EXTREMELY disappointed - communication would have been appreciated as I did speak to the hotel directly before booking two lake view rooms. Lesson learned! read more

This review is long, but there was a lot to say, so I hope those reading it find it helpful. I've always wanted to see this area in the winter, and when we heard the forecast for several inches of snow, we couldn't pass up the opportunity. We decided to stay at Church Landing since it has 2 pools, 4 hot tubs and a restaurant on site. The advertisements and pricing make it appear to be a 4-5 star hotel, but in reality it's more like a 3. I've stayed in 2 star hotels that are maintained better. In addition to the room price, we had to pay an additional $40 "resort fee" for our one day stay, which they said covered usage of the resort's amenities. The exercise room was closed for repair, so we couldn't use that. Between this hotel and the Inn at Mill's Falls, there's 3 pools and 5 hot tubs available for use, plus they have s'mores by a campfire at night. Other than that, I'm not sure what amenities there are, and I have never heard of a hotel charging to use them; it should be included in the room rate. They offered several activities, such as a guided hiking trip, but that cost extra. Overall, the room was decorated nicely, but the furniture looks like most other hotel furniture, certainly not fancy like you'd find in a 4 or 5 start hotel in a major city. Our room had a gas fireplace, which added a nice ambiance to our snowy visit. Unfortunately, our room also had several issues. The drains in the sink and stand-up shower (no tub in our room) were clogged and took more than a minute to drain. The glass on the fireplace door was dirty with smudge marks on it. The cover on the pipe coming out of the wall going to the toilet had come loose and was dangling, exposing the raw plumbing. One of the handles on the sink was loose and dangling down, making it difficult to turn the water on and off. The balcony was supported by 2 large pillars, however, the wood at the base of one of them had rotted. Interestingly, it looked like it had been painted recently with the rot being painted over rather than being repaired. Outside the room the walls in the hallways were dirty with scuff marks from luggage, and the wood trim was scratched and chipped. While the hotel appeared to be clean, the tops of some doors, pictures and lights had a coating of dust on them. Yes, we checked. To me, that's a sign of how clean a hotel really is. It's easy to vacuum and make the visible things look clean, but it's the hidden things that determine how clean a place really is. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't do very well in this area. In summary, the experience we had didn't justify the price we paid to stay here for one night in the off-season. Improve the maintenance and cleaning or lower the price, and it would have been worth it. read more

Hello, I want to share my recent experience at Church Landing in Meredith New Hampshire, so I am hoping my email finds its way to the correct people at this organization. My family and I are returning guests at this hotel and have always enjoyed our stays and experiences here, until this most recent time. We called to book a room and, in the past, have reserved one of the cottages due to the fact that it was pet friendly. We were told that the cottages are now no longer pet friendly and that there were only certain rooms that were (none were available at the time). Understandably we booked a regular room and figured we would check back for cancellations. A few days before our stay my husband called the resort to see if any pet friendly rooms opened up, and we were told by another worker that we were able to bring our dog but that we just had to pay an extra $50 per night for a pet fee. My husband asked them to please make sure that was the case since this is not what we were told in the first place and she assured him that it was correct. We have a 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback and he is a great well behaved dog. He is very friendly and loves people and unfortunately has cancer. We try to take him with us as much as possible, so we were very excited to be able to include him in our time away. When we arrived at the hotel we discovered we were mis-informed but front desk was great and told us since we were given incorrect information the dog was welcome to stay in the room with us. Our Disappointing part of the stay didn't hit us until our encounter with the General Manager Barbara Beckwith. My family, the dog and I were returning from a walk when we passed Barbara outside of what I assume was her office. She followed us down the hall and asked me if "that dog was staying in that room with us" and when I said yes her response was " Well does the front desk know this? I explained to her what our situation was and was immediately told that she has had "bad experiences" with dogs and is traumatized and in the past, there have been dogs with fleas and that I should never have been allowed to bring him into this room. "This is not a dog friendly room and now this room has to be put out of commission for 24 hours and it has to be fumigated, and it can't be rented again for another few days". There were a few annoyed sighs and eye rolls thrown in that mix as well. Then she also mentioned " and by the way do you know the dog policy is dogs under 40 lbs?" No I don't because no one ever told me and I don't work here. She has every right to ask these questions however her first step should have been to talk to the front desk to find out if I did in fact sneak a dog in. If the front desk said they were unaware, then approach me. But her approaching me to first accuse me of sneaking a 105 lb dog in the hotel and then lecturing me on all the work she now has to do to bomb the room because my dog is a so-called flea bag wasn't the right way to go. I was disgusted and she ruined my time with my family. I felt uncomfortable the rest of the time there and could not believe someone in her position handled the situation that way. I am not her employee; I am a patron who paid for a hotel room and paid an extra $50 a night to have my dog with me. If sneaking past the front desk with a 105 lb dog bred for Lion hunting is possible then call me Houdini. My assumption from my short visit with Ms. Beckwith is she isn't a fan of dogs, but there are a lot of people who consider them part of their family. I hope she does better next time. the stay was better after we were able to switch rooms, but the service surrounding all our issues was horrendous and enough to make us and any friend we told about the situation (asking if i was being dramtic or not) to not want to stay there. it was a great central location with nice veiws and easy access to everything and a cute little beach, and if i was staying for one night it wouldnt be an issue. church landing is supposed to be the luxury hotel according to the website, but it was no where close to relaxing or luxuirious. moldy rooms, false advertising, dogs and chilidren in the room next to us making noise, terrible service, and SO much money that was wasted. again, trying not to be dramatic but the whole thing with the hotel pretty much ruined our trip. and i dont think the room that we moved into was worth the money we were charged for it on any occasion, let alone after everything we had gone through. booked and paid fully for a lodge king (about 2600$ for the length of our stay) in october for a july trip. got there and the room was nothing like it said on line, our room uprgrades didn't come until ater i called and hours later, the jacuzzi in our room kept turning on every half hour for three hours with no water in it, we had no outdoor acess, AND THERE WAS MOLD IN OUR ROOM. everyt time we called about our issues, we were brushed off and told there was nothing available. it wasnt until they realized we were staying for 5 days isntead of one that they starting helping us. we were told multiple times people would come check out our room and they didnt and then i was told a manger would call me and they never did. the morning of check out we packed up or stufff and went to get breakfast but coming back for all our food and drinks so they wouldnt sit in the car too long, we came back to the room around 930 (checkout at 11) and houskeeping had turned over the room and thrown away all our food and beverages becuase they were told the room was vacant even though we had not check out and our key cards still had access to the rooms, so we lost about $150 there and "there was nothign that could be done about it". i ended up getting a 500$ refund but that was just for the difference of price betweent the two rooms, not for any sort of trouble. i also didn't even get the full 500 becuase even though i have a receipt that says i paid in full and my balnce due was $0, apparently a restort fee of 165 was not included in that. the manager on the day of checkout was giving me so much attitude when i was just trying to understand why i have something that says $0 owed but now have to pay money that is being taken out of a refund for issues they caused. so i still basically had to pay full price even though we did not stay in a room that the feautres we originally paid for. read more

Decided to go see Lake Winnipesaukee on our way back from the white mountains. Made a last minute reservation to stay here for a night and were so glad we did. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. We had a lake front room and loved the view from our room. There was a balcony and we left the door open to catch the breeze. We woke to a gorgeous sunrise. There is an indoor/outdoor pool and a jacuzzi. Lovely grounds with chairs and a gazebo facing the lake. The spa looks wonderful but didnt have time this visit. Breakfast was really delicious with omelettes, lobster Benedict, and waffles. Our server, Dan, went above and beyond to provide us with excellent service. Dan is the man! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice hotel with comfy beds, great views, and amazing lake views. read more

This is an inn right out of a Lifetime movie. So many great things to say I'm not even sure where to begin. Right off the bat the hospitality of this place is top notch. Every single employee I came in contact with greeted us with a smile. Upon check in you are given an itinerary for the week and a map of the "campus". The inn is situated in a very quaint area with great shops and restaurants. Not much to do in the way of nightlife, but I was there for a quiet, relaxing getaway so it was perfect. The inn is beautifully decorated in what I can best describe as rustic elegance. Several fireplaces can be found throughout the inn and the decor is a lot of wood and tree branches giving it a great cabin like feel. There is a library room with many books to choose from and different games situated around the inn like checkers, puzzles, etc. It has 3 pools and 4 hot tubs. One of the pools and two hot tubs are adult only and that is what we used. They were very clean, though I will note that the other two public pools did not look as clean and were very cloudy all 4 days. They also have a fitness area which was spotless and can only be accessed via a room card. The room we had was The Oak suite and it did not disappoint. It was super clean and came complete with gas fireplace and french doors that opened up to a good size porch with two rocking chairs overlooking the lake; it was honestly picture perfect. It had the most comfortable king size bed and pillows, and a jet tub that fit two people quite comfortably. We did find that this particular room was on the humid side for some reason. We tried opening the french doors, then the AC. We even had a cooler night to try out the fireplace and nothing seemed to help the high level of humidity. Also the bathroom had an odor to it. Not quite sure if it's old urine or from the humidity, but definitely noticeable. My only other "complaint" would be that this room is in a dead zone for their wifi connection and completely unusable. However aside from these things I still have to give this place 5 stars because it exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back. read more

We have stayed at church landing since the hotel opened literally dozens and dozens of times. Over the last year or so since the new owners took over the hotel has steadily gone downhill. Maintenance issues that aren't taken care of even after notifying the hotel. Last weekend we booked the room we always book which is very private at the end of the hotel, where there are two private Jacuzzis and an adult only pool. When we arrived, we were informed that the main pool was closed so they were opening the adults only pool and Jacuzzis for families and children. This notification should have taken place well before our arrival. As expected, the Jacuzzis were full of families and children eating pizza in the pools and bags of chips. Completely unacceptable for a resort which claims to be a five star. read more

Don't do it. Had a horrific experience. Their clean towels were not clean at all. Just think about opening a clean folded towel and having human stuff on it that does not belong to you. So gross. Also, the resort fee was 65.00. we used absolutely nothing due to Covid. When we did check out, they agreed to charge us half price. Still pricy for not using anything in the hotel. In the restaurant we were told we could not sit at the bar because the bar tender was too busy. HELLO....... We sat at a table and watched the waiter talk all night to people at another table. Beautiful. Seriously... just awesome. This place is brimming with hospitality. I loved it and never wanted to leave. The whole place is decorated with warm antiques, tons of old books, wooden log chairs and sofas, fireplaces all over the place, and panoramic views of the Lake. Its awesome. We had a suite and it did not disappoint. Every detail was remembered. The tv over the fireplace, the couch, the wooden mantle, the huge bed with step stool, and the large tub and shower. Our stay was perfect. The indoor outdoor pool did not have a closing time and the hot tub was awesome. We enjoyed that both nights!! The banquet facilities were beautiful, seems like a great place to have a wedding. A very nice spa was also on the property, but we did not get to visit. Perfect Location, the room has everything you could possibly need with one exception of having no make up mirror - Honestly I brought my own. but I loved being able to have a seating area, desk area , wonderful ambience, Good quality bath linen, great tub, great water pressure, plenty of room service options places to eat, well organized I've been in much bigger rooms with far fewer Amenities, Bathroom is really clean And very very nice staff. The view of the bay shore serene! Cozy, comfy and content! I think whether you're coming here for business or personal reasons you'll be very very happy with your stay. read more

OK! So, if you're heading up to the Meredith side of Lake Winnie, I don't think you'll find a better place to stay than Church Landing. We drove up so my wife could bring me to the place she spent her summers as a wee little Patriots fan. We figured we'd find a place to stay along the way. We were originally looking for a B&B, but couldn't find any so made our way to the old Catholic church to pray for a place to stay. Lo and behold! The church was gone and Church Landing was there as a beacon of light in the dark, cold October night. The staff was very nice and after a little negotiating on our part, we were able to get a great off season deal of $150 for a King bed with balcony. The room was really, really nice. It was cozy and comfy, boasted a balcony with an incredibly beautiful view of the lake and even had a gas fireplace! The bed was o so comfy... one of those tall beds with a step stool to help you get in. A small fridge and free wifi rounded out the great list of room amenities. The ground of the hotel are just as beautiful as the room.. wooden beach chairs lined the lake in several spots allowing for the perfect spot to read, sleep, update your Facebook status or just gaze out onto the beauty that is Lake Winnipesaukee in October. The foliage was spectacular, especially for a dude from San Diego. We were told that it wasn't as vibrant as usual due to a dry summer, but hey, compared to the one tree in our yard that changes color in January and the ubiquitous palm trees that never change, it was spectacular viewing for us. So, take it from me... when you're in Meredith and looking for a great place to stay on the lake, you can't go wrong with Church Landing. If it's summer, you'll be paying a pretty penny to stay here, but great deals can be had off season. read more

Not including food or rooms just a rip off. She's only invited 30 people and they didn't care, just gave her the same quote as a 100 person wedding. This used to be our favorite romantic weekend get away. Prior to the new owners the staff was always very accommodating. The pools and hot tubs were always clean. They also used to have a mini breakfast in the beautiful room overlooking the lake. Our stays over the past 5 years have just gotten worse with each visit! This last visit this past weekend we were not told in advance that the hotel is under construction! Due to the construction the main pool was closed along with one of the lounge areas. This was bad enough but now the Adult pool area is available however, the hot tubs were not operating and they were filthy! Then they have a nice lounge area with a pool table, fireplace and they closed this due to a private event. However, even with letting the front desk aware of our displeasure, we were still charged the RESORT FEE! Please note the front desk could care less regarding our displeasure. I am giving this place 5 stars as I am groom of a 225 person wedding that my wife and I had here on Saturday July 28. I was very impressed with nh style stepping up their game to compete with structure, elegance , class with other top named venues. The bartenders were attentive , when the bar was getting behind , the lead server who introduced herself took charge and made my request Happen of walking around with cold beers on a serving dish for people to grab. The wedding was amazing , we did have great weather and I was happy with how helpful the church landing staff was from wedding coordinator Caroline , all the way to the lead servers and bar tenders At the event. Buyer beware. You will be charged 5-star prices for a at most, a 3-star hotel. Our stay started with a very frazzled and burnt out front desk clerk, who raced through a very brief orientation. And it went down from there. Yes, the rooms are nice, but don't look too closely at the cleaning job, which is really concerning during COVID. The hotel did not have a single sign about how they or their guest should respond to the pandemic. Our room had a serious noise issue from a faulty pool pump, a problem familiar to the hotel. The only way to sleep through the night, or enjoy our deck was to get the management to turn off the pump. I could go on, but save your money, this is not worth the exorbitant prices and frustration. read more

What a fabulous hotel. We had our wedding reception here on 8/31/2008 and couldn't have been happier. It is pricey, but worth every penny (especially if you're not paying). The rooms, oh the rooms. They were cushy and comfy and just what you need in a place like this. The staff couldn't be nicer, and they know how to put a wedding reception together that you'll always remember. The grounds are immaculately kept and gorgeous a great place to just spent a few moments sitting by the lake. If I have the need, I would stay here again in a second and recommend it or any of Alex Ray's other properties in Meredith (The whole Mill Fall's Group) to anyone wanting to come to the area. read more

Here for a wedding...booked almost a year in advance. Area is beautiful; food is geat, people wonderful. Bed is comfortable. View is nice, but would be spectacular to sit outside like most other rooms. Room that we got has no balcony, and has only comfortable seating for 1 person, with no table for in room dining. Ordered room service and food came with no table. Called front desk and they sent up a tv tray table and chairs. Not quite the response I expected for a $400 + night hotel. The view of the lake is the only reason that I didn't rate lower. Very disappointed with room and hotel resonse. read more

Extremely disappointing. Not the same place since it was sold. Decor feels like a holiday inn. No longer the "warm and comfy" place that we have grown accustomed. You can see cheap, temporary fixes all over the hotel. Also, stay away from room 150....the shower is just a drizzle. We had to use the showers at the pool because the was absolutely no water pressure. read more

This is our 4th year staying here. We look forward to coming here every year on this long weekend as a quiet getaway for my husband and I. We chose coming back to this place because of the exceptional treatment we have received year after year. This year was quite different from the previous years..... we only had house keeping to our room once and we were here for 4 nights. We had to hunt them down in the hall and ask for our room to get cleaned. The other nights I had to call and ask for fresh towels and waters. Other changes we noticed, is the coffee area no longer offered small breakfast items to go along with your coffee. Muffins, juice, yogurts, fruit ect. It's little touches like this that make the difference. There was a basket of apples on their last leg. Also noticed the pool in the main house was not maintained. Dirty towels everywhere, hazy dirty water. I'd have to say that the biggest disappointment, (we were able to look past all these other things) was that we book to come on this weekend because of the discount they run at this time. Book one night and the second night you pay what the weather is. We booked early (with the hopes of this promotion running) to get the room we love and were told that the promotion was not announced yet, but would be able to get it if they have it running at the time of stay. We booked four nights. At the time of check out we were told they were not honoring the promotion for us because we did not book when they announced the promotion. Even though we do this every year, we book early so we can get our room and they told us it would not be a problem when booking early. The room is not a cheap room. It's a $450 a night room. We asked for them to rectify this for us because we were told booking early would not be an issue. They said there was nothing they could do for us. I called the general manager with no answer or response. On their guest services card they quote "keeping customers coming for life"....... I hope this can be rectified, we were customers for life until this happened. P read more

Church Landing is a great spot to stay when in Meredith. Now that I've stayed there in the Summer, the Fall, and now the Winter - I'm anxiously looking forward to making a trip back up in the Spring. The views over the lake are fabulous, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and inviting. It's a great place to relax and slow-down with your family, as well as on a business trip. In Manhattan, cabin kitsch doesn't really work, but at Lake Winnipesaukee, the decor is perfect and creates a cozy atmosphere in the Summer and especially over the Christmas holidays. At the outset, our stay was exceptional and remained that way through our stay. We had a heavy snowfall and the staff did an excellent job clearing the parking lot and sidewalks as well as providing scrapers for your vehicle. Complimentary lite breakfast bar was a nice surprise and dining at the Lakeside Grille adjoining was delicious. Our suite had fantastic views and we absolutely collapsed onto the fabulous featherbed. The suite was definitely better than expected and I would request #466 the Gunstock Suite again. A total pleasure staying here and our Christmas was postcard perfect! Thank You! read more

Loved the inn at Church Landing. We had a beautiful room with a balcony looking right out onto the lake. The room was beautifully decorated and had plenty of room for relaxing. We enjoyed the Lakehouse Grille restaurant in the hotel as well. I would stay there again anytime. read more

This is a beautiful resort! Plenty of rooms to hang and just chat or read. The beds are so comfy and there is a fireplace in every room. The view of the lake is incredible and there are all kinds of shops too. read more

The rooms were quaint. The view was beautiful. However the rooms were quite dark. And room gratuity was written into your bill. I find this highly objectionable. Also made use of the salon and there also I was surprised to see gratuity written into the bill. Our stay was pleasant. It was convenient as we went to a wedding there. However I think over $700 (gratuity included) for two nights was a little steep for what you got. read more
