So I went on their Facebook page and posted some pictures then they came back and said oh those are outdated those aren't updated I just took them May 9th 2026 so they were updated so today I took more pictures which is May 10th 2026 they went in and decided to block me shows her professionalism I have documented practically everything on this property I'm giving my 7th month notice to move this place is disgusting on sanitary unsafe unhealthy and the health department and the state needs to come in and they definitely need to be audited and find this property is disgusting trash dumpsters trash everywhere they're not maintaining it like they should they want to blame it on the residents well if you set up your equipment like you should for your dumpsters and put up cameras for people dumping their Furniture none of the stuff would be happening that's your responsibility. Today is May 10th the trash is just horrendous it's all goes all the way back to the dumpster I don't even want to get out of my car and walk because I want to track any kind of diseases or unhealthy unsanitary things into my car Furniture mattresses this goes all the way from the front of the interest to the back of the very back top parking lot. Excuse after excuse honestly this property needs to be shut down. I've complained I don't know how many times other people have complained they act like they're going to break their arms and legs and toes feet fingers to do anything around here but I can guarantee you the rush as soon as somebody moves out an apartment to get it done so they can get it rented and make their money and half the time those aren't clean I've got an apartment underneath me that's wreaking of horrendous smell I don't know what it is sitting empty and it's just disgusting I can't sit out on my dick because the smell is just so horrendous. On top of that steps are on safe and certain buildings and they've been marked off with caution tape for over a year it's still not fixed and then there's other buildings that have faulty steps and cracks they were notified when I moved in before I moved in honestly that the the set to my bill they need to be repaired and they're saying oh those are in the work well you know what it's been over a year since the other ones have been still sitting there it's been since November since I moved in here and still they've not repaired the steps. The property is on sanitary unsafe unhealthy and really needs a thorough inspection and be fine for all these faulty and unhealthy and unsafe things on this property. I've given my seventh month notice I'm out as soon as my lease ends I do not recommend moving here I don't recommend moving to the other property either. Management wants to come up after excuse after excuse when you want to go into the office talk manager the staff wants to come up with an excuse oh they're in a meeting or they're in a conference it's constant all the time and they're not so I can guarantee you if you get that excuse it's a lie. They're just trying to avoid you. My rent has been paid every month on time I keep my apartment maintained like I did at the other property which when I moved over here I didn't realize it was the same company giving them a chance and it's just worse than it was at the other property. They can't keep management here and I wonder why. And I'll tell you that corporate makes a decision so you know what it's management maintenance that's responsible maintaining this property now as far as the property owners van rooy which are out of Indianapolis Indiana or the worst rental company I could ever imagine dealing with they are sloppy neglectful and they do not care about their properties. The big billboard sign that had their Lakewood name on it had graffiti all over they finally covered it up. And yes it's the type of people that live in here too I will say that and it's definitely ghetto. Worst property I've ever lived on. And iPhone two homes in my lifetime and I could have never imagined bringing my children are my cousin to this unsafe unhealthy unsanitary environment. There's no excuse for it it's unacceptable you go down the road and you can look at other apartment properties and nothing like this immaculate clean the management runs it good. So I'm forewarning you don't feel like you have to be desperate moving in here. There are way better places to move. Lakewood Where the apartments are nice but the environment... eh... not so much! We lived there for just about 3 years. When we moved in within a week or so our dishwasher acted up and maintenance came late at night and stayed till 2am when the issue was resolved. Our dishwasher was connected to the sink plumbing so it would flood and after that we rarely had this issue. We were really impressed with this place for about a year. Then we had not so great neighbors, our car got stolen and we started to feel unsafe. Throughout all of this management was prompt to respond and very thoughtful. They made us feel appreciated and heard. I felt like Alicia (the property manager) really listened to me. If she wasn't around, whoever was did their best to help with any issues. As I stated maintenance was there for an emergency. We didn't really ask for much from them otherwise. They're good about keeping the grounds clean bd managing the trash situation as quickly as they can. The dumpsters over flow often especially on F- Sun but they do try to keep it under control. There were a few instances where maintenance wouldn't inform us of work. One time (I was about to pop with my second) I went to take a shower and there was no water. They'd shut it off for our whole building mid summer and told no one anything. These kinds of things would happen every once in a while. We'd lived in communities before that send a courtesy email or clip a note to the door way ahead of time. It's not unreasonable to have notice for these things. In the 3yrs we were there they had work done in the unit above us a handful of times and every single time they did the floors the works for just throw their supplies on the ground raining from 7am- 11pm. No warning there'd be work above us- nothing. Every neighbor wasn't considerate. I'm not over exaggerating. Everyone is loud!!!As much as I want to go into full on detail the list would just be too long. We have small children and they'd get woken up on average 3 times a week by disturbances. Towards the end they didn't really nap because it wasn't possible. If you are hard of hearing or are a noisy person that has no regard for anyone else then this place is perfect for you. If you're hardly ever home and just need a place to eat, shower and sleep- get some really good quality headphones and this place could be for you. If you are a stay at home parent or work from home this place will drive you absolutely bananas. read more

I lived here 2014 to 2015 I started to earn too much money so could not renew. it is lower income housing so yes there are a lot of children, the office staff is what it is they don't bother you unless you don't pay rent. then yes expect to be pursued for the late rent owed that is anywhere. yes the trash is a issue. yes they are rude if you are late with rent like any apartment community will be. but for the price and size of apartment I am happy with it. they accepted my dog and had walk on property. we had issues when I moved in as they promised carpet and I did not have carpet but oh well that was my own fault for not seeing apt. I would move back if I made income. read more

Don't let looks fool you. Management does not care. Parking is horrible. Pool is not in working order. Mold problems Exterminator is there every week. They don't allow kids to ride bikes or anything with wheels. No play area for kids. And they raise rent during a pandemic. read more

Do not move here, they scam you. After notifying Alicia I was going to be late on my rent it didn't seem like a problem. Next thing I know I'm getting sued for rent i already paid. Now I have to pay court fees of $400!! They sued me before the month of February was up. Worst part is, they did this without warning. No phone calls or letters. In the contract? My ass! My lawyer friend looked at it and there is no time frame given. They are only out to get money from you and the property is dirty. Management don't care about the tenants livelihood, parking is a disaster there are way more cars than there's spots and they don't want you parking in the handicap spots when there's not many handicap cars. They'll tow your car quick in the early morning. So if you work the night shift and you park there good luck. The dumpster is near the entrance so if you get stuck with an apartment far away enjoy the walk or drive it down in or on your car if it hasn't been towed. And the towing isn't cheap either. They're always placing new pavement to the parking lot and it creates a bigger disaster when it comes to parking and they'll tow your car if it isn't out of the way in time. read more
