    Time for Moana 2!! 28.11.2024

We still enjoy coming to this theater. Seats may need an update, but that is a personal preference. 06.06.2025

This is a small, nonprofit theater

This small, nonprofit theatre is tucked in between two restaurants in a strip mall area. You could really miss it if you weren't paying attention. The small-town feel was charming. We got our tickets at the box office using a Groupon voucher for 2 movie tickets, 2 medium popcorn, 2 medium drinks & 2 candies. It was a great deal! The theatre was really clean; even the bathrooms. The concessions counter seemed to have too many workers and not enough organization, but they were all very nice and provided service with a smile. The seating wasn't as up to date as some theaters, but it was comfortable, and seats were not assigned. The sound was great, and the picture was perfectly adjusted, not too dark or too bright.

Smaller theaters. You don't reserve the seat here, first come first serve. The seat is comfortable and I like the snack place. They have section for popcorn seasoning.

Lakewood Ranch Cinemas is a cozy little theater that offers some good movies to see. It's never very crowded the times we've been here, even for movies that have just opened. The seats are very comfy. They offer beer and wine as well as the usually movie theater snacks. Everything is reasonably priced. OK, so here comes my grumpy old man: The main reason I stopped going to the movies so often was that I found a number of loud disruptive folks in the theater. On their mobile phones and carrying on loudly with others. It just wasn't fun anymore. But, here in the Lakewood Ranch Cinemas it seems like all the movie goers silence their phones and keep the conversations to a quiet minimum. So, I'll continue to visit and enjoy LRC.

Pretty basic local movie theater which is nice to have around, it has not been taken over by another big company like AMC. It's a bit small yet useful, I believe it holds about 6-7 screens, no reclining seats unfortunately but comfortable enough. I purchased our tickets through Fandango but there's a few different websites as well as being able to purchase them in at the window which might be a bit cheaper since Fandango charges a service fee. They have a pretty good variety of options in their concession stand, popcorn, hotdogs, nachos, ice cream, lots of drinks including wine and beer. The bathrooms are clean however a little outdated but just like the theater it's probably due to how long it's been around which is fine. Some of the staff were wearing masks others weren't. The great thing about this theater is that is around many restaurants, plenty of parking and they even have a mini golf course nearby. Pretty great for a day out with friends, date, or family.

Tickets and snacks are responsibly priced compared to other theaters. The theaters and bathrooms need major updating though.

Old school-style theater. Comfy seats and reasonably priced food and drinks. Enjoyed seeing Wicked here.

It was a nice, clean, experience as I went to see "Wicked". I do wish that they had a senior discount.

The tickets were $15.50pp for an evening film, so higher than a standard theater, but not by much. Where they really make their money is the concessions. My husband and I decided to have dinner there, and he ordered the cheesesteak with truffle fries and a Sprite, and I ordered the sliders with regular fries and a root beer. The facility automatically adds a 19% gratuity charge to the bill, and our total came to $71.00. Even I was slightly shocked at the price, since we were at a movie theater The service and servers were great. The sodas do have free refills, but unlike other boujee theaters, there isn't a call button to use at this one. Overall, it was a fun evening. We spent $100 for a date night, and I suppose that isn't too unusual anymore. The theater and bathrooms were clean, all employees seemed kind and we enjoyed the movie.

Severe Mold smell, wound up have asthma attack after being there for 3 hours. Dealing with mold sickness. Food was horrible! Had a chicken BLT Bun was hard as a rock, chicken was rubbery and un edible because they used a microwave to heat up food. My husband ordered a steak frites $42.99. Meat was terrible . Can't say all the food was all bad, popcorn, Fries and cake was good, and so was the water & beer & Margarita. The place is falling apart. The help had no idea what they are doing , giving people the wrong food and drinks. Placing them on your tray and then taking them back to give to the correct customer. Cost was approximately $160 per couple, waste of money. This place used to be an awesome experience a few years back, but now it's falling apart and the incompetence is unbelievable. If you don't mind mold and mediocre food this place is for you. At this point I will go out to dinner somewhere else like Season 52 and then go to different movie theatre afterward. I used to love this place. Sad this place went down hill. I have never been so disappointed :-( If they ever decide to clean it up and get better food I might go back.

We grew up with a drive-in in our town and we loved it as kids, so we wanted to take our kids, this was their first drive-in movie experience and it didn't disappoint. Toy Story 5 was playing, they recommend showing up an hour early on their website, we arrived at 8pm and found a spot easily, but it's definitely a good idea to show up early because it was already packed with cars when we showed up. You also need a radio, preferably battery operated, so you can tune into the station (I believe it was 89.3) and listen to the movie - unless you want to leave your car running the entire time and use your car radio. We decided to sit in the back of my husband's truck, which was a vibe - just make sure you check the weather so you don't end up getting rained on and also recommend bringing some bug spray because there are lots of mosquitos that will pester you if you don't have something to keep them away. We will be back for a family movie night, this is such a fun family experience - I wish there were more drive-ins around still but they're few and far between unfortunately.
