From the moment you walk in to when you leave you know and feel its a high end restaurant. Server gave us a run down of the food and drinks menu and took our orders. This is not traditional PR food so you will not get that type of food. Regardless the food taste great and has good quality. Its not cheap keep in mind. This might be called the Bad Bunny restaurant by his fans but nothing has resemblance of his brand. The music is at a moderate level that does not interfere with conversations.

I didn't realize when I booked for the outdoor lounge it would be empty. So I asked if we could be seated inside. It was a rather awkward exchange yet we ended up at the cocktail bar which was great for us anyway. The menu is loaded with options from so many various cuisines. I think anyone could find something here. Make sure you're dressed well. Beautiful restaurant and the Waygu beef with the potatoes was amazing.

The "Wellington" with a side of carrots

This restaurant is officially one of my favorites EVER - and not just because it's owned by one of my favorite artists, Bad Bunny (although, of course, that helps ). We ordered the Raviolo al Uovo, which was INSANE - rich, decadent, and absolutely packed with flavor. We also ordered the Wellington, which was genuinely one of the best dishes I've ever had in my life. I mean, about as close to perfect as food can get. We added a side of carrots for a veggie, and somehow even the carrots were insanely delicious, especially paired with their sauce. WOW. Thank you, Bad Bunny and everyone else involved in creating this place. I already need to arrange a repeat night out here, except next time I might have to eat while listening to Bad Bunny through my AirPods. Talk about a sensory feast.

This was the wrong place to put your money Bad Bunny. We are fans, but not of Lala. I assume it's because I don't properly appreciate haute cuisine, but I felt a little disappointed in the quality of the food. Service was great but at $130/pp I was hoping for transformative food that would leave me speechless, instead of a rock to cook my own Tomahawk steak on.

We tried the Lala restaurant in San Juan this month. It's Bad Bunny's restaurant located inside the mall. Since it's located in the mall, parking was easy. The restaurant is on the 1st floor. The space is very modern, elegant, and fancy. The staff was great and friendly. Our waiter, Chris, and his helpers, took amazing care of us. They checked in on us often, kept our drinks full, and just made the whole experience feel special. The cocktails were creative (and the menu was cool, but a little hard to read). I tried their lychee vodka drink first which was refreshing and tasty, and then went for an espresso martini because I needed a little boost (delicious). For appetizers, we ordered the focaccia, shrimp tempura, and the French onion escargot, all fantastic. For my entrée, I got the Italian sausage orecchiette pasta, which was very flavorful and delicious. My only criticism is the pricing. My pasta was around $40, which feels steep for what it is. The food is tasty, but the cost doesn't totally match what you get. We finished with the bread pudding accompanied by goat cheese ice cream, and that dessert is a must‑try because it was absolutely delicious. Overall, we had a fun experience with great service, beautiful space, tasty food. Just be aware that the prices are on the higher side. Expensive doesn't always mean it's better.

Had 1 day in San Juan, PR & booked LaLa for a quick bday dinner. The exterior/interior are trendy, minimalistic, but also inviting. We ordered: - Guava Agua Fresca (non-alcoholic): 9/10 - Hamachi Al Pastor Crudo: 10/10!!! - Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice: 8.5/10 - Short Rib Mushroom Truffle Tortellini: 10/10! - Tres Leches cake & 1 other dessert that is no longer on the menu, but it tasted like a banana bread cake with ice cream. Both desserts were phenomenal 10/10. Tip: LaLa is all for the experience and encompasses a slower dining pace.

My husband and I came here during our trip and from the second we walked through the door, we were blown away. The aesthetic ambience, and of course, service were all equally as impressive, welcoming, and refreshing. Our server was incredibly personable, attentive, and helpful in navigating the menu. We ordered each dish solely based off of our server's recommendations, and we were not disappointed - we loved every single dish. The presentation of each course was intentional, and everything was incredibly fresh - with a special shout out to the oysters, which were phenomenal. Although the price point of the menu items are on the higher end we quickly found out the reasoning behind this; which is because a great deal of items available on the menu, are locally sourced. We were happy to hear we were supporting the island and it made our experience a lot more special! The drinks and dessert were beautiful and tasted balanced, fresh and incredible! We will most certainly be returning on our next trip to Puerto Rico!

Lala is a beautiful restaurant and the vibes are immaculate, but the food is overhyped and overpriced. To start, the crispy tuna rice was extra crispy--basically burnt--which made it hard to chew through. The tuna itself was good, but it wasn't enjoyable paired with the burnt rice. The shrimp tempura was just okay, but very oily. The focaccia bread was dense instead of being light and fluffy the way focaccia should be. The spicy vodka pasta had decent flavor, but I've definitely had better, and it was so spicy that it wasn't enjoyable. The best part of the meal was the coconut tres leches, but even then, it wasn't the best we had on the island. Overall, while the atmosphere is stunning, we spent over $200 on a mediocre meal that just wasn't worth it.

10/10 experience for my bachelorette party. The ambiance, drinks, food, and service was all amazing. It's a little pricey but the food is delicious! Would recommend!!

WOW - the whole branzino was amazing and the table side service of bringing it out and cutting the spine out was neat. The spicy rigatoni is something not enough people are talking about!! This could give carbones spicy rigatoni a run for its money. I would 100% suggest visiting this restaurant when in San Juan. Full review on YT @theeestherperez

Joel was our server and he was amazing . Thank you for explaining and clarifying any concerns you made my experience amazing . I definitely recommend! Ambiance is new and modern. Came for my 40th birthday with a party of 7. Service was absolutely amazing. Attentive and on point. Ambiance was nice but it was almost too dark to see the menus and the food when we got it. The appitzers were perfect and super tasty. The main dishes could have been better but overall a great experience. The whole branzino was good! I would come back for drinks and a table of appitizers! (The crispy rice was a favorite. The shrimp tempura was delicious and a great appitizer to share as it comes with plenty).

Overall, I had an amazing birthday dinner at Lala and would definitely come back! The restaurant is gorgeous inside, which ambient lighting, a huge bar, and a DJ that comes out as it gets later. I started with an espresso martini, which was expensive, but one of the best espresso martinis I have had. The menu highlights a wide variety of cuisines from sushi to French food to Italian pastas. Everything we ordered was delicious with some of the highlights being the burrata and the spicy vodka rigatoni. They even gave us a private room for our larger party and let us connect to the sound system, which is a testament to how awesome their service was. Only deducting one star because the food took almost 2 hours to come out, but our server was super great and very apologetic.

I suggest doing reservations at least 3 weeks in advanced if you want to time that you want especially during peak days like Fri, Sat, etc. When we came in, the staff were very hospitable to us. This establishment has was very intimate, well lit; upon entry the music was a bit loud but then became manageable for casual conversation. We saw a good amount of large parties as well so they have good reputation for celebratory outings. We started off with drinks, ordered the Paper Plane, was very sour but wasn't bad in my opinion (Rating: 7.1/10), but the Perfect Lady on the other hand, was amazing lavender goodness, I don't think I have had a bad lavender drink yet from any place I have had so glad they kept the train going (Rating: 9.0/10). Next, for appetizers we ordered the Empanadas, that have different flavors everyday. The day that we came, the flavor was BBQ pulled pork, which I personally absolutely loved. Crispy, not hard exterior, hot and fresh (Rating 8.8/10). For the entrees, we ordered the Tacos De Mero Empanados (Fish Tacos with Chipotle Coleslaw) and the Milanesa De Pollo. The fish tacos were definitely the best dish at the table, came with 3 tacos that had rich flavors, ordered from the "Daily Specials" section of the menu (Rating 8.4/10). Next, the Milanesa De Polla was a large, breaded chicken breast that was honestly good for multiple people, came with side of arugula and cherry tomatoes with light dressing (almost nonexistent to be honest). It came with a sauce on top, like an aioli that wasn't bad honestly. This dish was a good safe option if you aren't sure what to get (Rating 8.1/10). I wanted to originally order the Pastelon De Amarillos but they were out of stock of that dish during the visit. Overall, Santaella offers pretty extensive menu with foundations of a high quality restaurant. Their service during our visit was definitely top of the line, no complaints. I just wished they had more than 2 single use bathrooms as the line definitely added up which could pose an issue for guests with urinary urgency/frequency. Pricing also wasn't horrible, was able to get a full course dinner for 2 for under $150 so can't really complain, just check their menu before going if you want specifics. They also have Rooftop Sundays at Azotea for those who are interested in their alternative dining setting. This place was good nonetheless and I would recommend it, is right in between fine dining and casual making it good for those dressier date nights.

The restaurant didn't look very busy, and we were dressed casually, so we wondered if that was why--but we noticed another casually dressed couple seated there too. Not a huge deal, just a strange first impression. The star of the show was our server, Elicia. She was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. She made us feel like valued guests, and she was also bartending! The drinks were a highlight. The Mojito Clarito was surprisingly clear but full of flavor, the Pepino cocktail was great, and the guava mocktail was easily my favorite. Unfortunately, the food was very inconsistent, especially for the price. The T-bone came out much rarer than the medium rare we ordered and wasn't cooked consistently. The truffle mashed potatoes were delicious, and the sea bass was the best entrée--great sauce and vegetables. The lobster tails were easily the worst dish, despite being one of the most expensive. They were oddly sweet and incredibly rubbery, like erasers. The tartare was also strangely sweet, with a sticky balsamic-like dressing and only four little chips. The oysters were disappointing as well--4 for $32 is steep, and I expected more than cheese simply warmed on top. Overall, there were some great elements, but the food lacked the consistency and execution I'd expect at this price point. Honestly, this is closer to 2.5 stars, and Elicia is the reason I'm rounding up to 3. She really made the experience.

Prior to even ordering, I asked if their famous fish tacos would have the same coleslaw with their special sauce intermixed like it's been since 2007, but in recent visit on Dec 2025 was not the same. He stated he understood. When it arrived, the cole slaw was dry, not the same famous fish tacos i've been used to for years unfortunately. It was unnecessary for the waiter (male in his 50s with black ivy cap) to insist to try to prove me wrong stating that "it's always been this way and i've worked here for 15 years" when my mother and i have had these fish tacos since it opened originally in guaynabo circa ~2007. Mind you, i am bilingual and overheard the waiter talking to the kitchen. Their solution was to bring sauce on the side. My partner ate 1 fish taco, I ate none. When we left the establishment, the waiter went outside to stop my fiance. The waiter never approached me to apologize directly por el mal rato. I also found it extremely distasteful to have to overhear an employee (brunette) on her break (or otherwise) with her foul language near our toddler. We'll just have to stick to another location that treats customers better.
