This place is right across the street from our rental condo. It was recommended by our rental. It was okay. I wouldn't go back. It's a wine bar and had a ton of wine to choose from. We asked for a cocktail and didn't get a straight answer so we just ordered wine. The service was okay but wouldn't say they were very attentive or personable. The food was not great. We ordered 4 apps for 2 people. We should have asked how big they were because they were gigantic. And the food was just okay. Neither of us really enjoyed anything we ordered. Part of it was due to the taste and flavors and part of it was that it was over cooked. Overall the experience was a bit disappointing.

Solid 4-4.5 restaurant. Staff were friendly and professional. Food was great and well cooked. The atmosphere is a 5. Wine selection, coffee and menu were excellent. I couldn't give them 5 starts for inadequate silverware. Other than that the place is one of the best restaurants in Puerto Rico to enjoy wine and fine dining.

Where to begin. EVERYTHING was amazing. Expertly prepare meal. Even better service. Sammy was attentive but not intrusive and had great recommendations for our meal. This was our last dinner in San Juan and it was the perfect topper to a wonderful week. We even met the General Manager before we sat. The extensive wine selections lined every wall of the restaurant. The restaurant is simple, but elegantly appointed. As stated, Sammy and the entire wait staff were attentive to every detail, but did not hover. My son had a filet and I had a NY strip. He tells me I rock in my chair when thr food is good. Chair was rocking at dinner for sure!! I'd live to post the cliche that we will be back again, but fact is we are headed home to Florida. I recommend this unassuming establishment to anyone living in or visiting the Carolina's/San Juan area. You will have a great experience!! Yes it wa pricey, but worth every penny!!

The food is outstanding, a little on the pricey side, but delicious nonetheless. Service is a bit slow which is why 4 star instead of 5. If you like wine this is a definite winner for you. However, they only sell the wine by the bottle. The interior of the walls are covered in wine bottles. There are hundreds of options the best I can tell. The overall experience is great. This would be a great date night place.

We come here for dinner on our anniversary, it's wonderful experience. The restaurant is quite close to our hotel actually. But we drive here, you get a ticket when you drive in the parking lot, and the restaurant will validate the parking for you. We ordered grill octopus and Escargot, oh, they all cooked perfect, tender and tasty, the best i ever tasted. The white chocolate creme brûlée is perfect too! Husband loves their lasagna and i had the mix veggie thing, all great! Service is prompt and attentive. We were in and out within 90mins! The ambiance of the place is nice too, so many wine bottles in display, though we don't drink.

This place was so great we went twice in the 3 nights that a we had available. Wonderful selection of wines at great prices. Right across from our hotel and a chic, nice level of music. Had excellent grilled prawns , great hummus, also wonderful flan! They served an excellent steak, and perfect lamb chops. Great Spanish wines from their "library of wine" where you choose the bottle from the wall all separated by price. . As an Oenophile of sorts it is a great delight to choose form the hundreds of wines at dozens of great prices.that

Fine dinning in the heart of Isla Verde. Numerous options and large variety of dishes for every occasion. Similarly, their wine list is huge also for every palate. The Gnocchi pesto starter were a great choice, while the lobster risotto was also a pleasant surprise. Service is cordial and attentive; while the ambiance is elegant, relax great for a romantic experience as well as for a business dinner.

Took my best friend here for her birthday. Amazing service and meal. Huge wine selection! Still thinking about my meal a week later! Desert was a dream! The service was impeccable!

Cab - It's what for dinner.

With friendly, knowledgeable and helpful service by Jessie, once again, Entrevino delivered a delicious dinner experience. With an excellent , yet young, Alexander Valley Cab, we enjoyed appetizer of buratta salad (my wife) and an outstanding, nicely proportioned beef carpaccio (hold the parm) as appetizers. Entrees of lamb chops and perfectly grilled medium-rare churasco (skirt steak) followed. Sides of minimally cooked fresh vegetables were excellent as were our mashed potatoes and rice with onions and mushrooms. My wife finished off her meal with an excellent cheese flan. After coming here for several years as we make our annual pilgrimage to Puerto Rico, I can safely state that no restaurant in the Isla Verde / San Juan area comes close to Entrevino for meat and wine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

    Chicken parmigiana- so good

Just goes to show you have to try something for yourself. My chicken parmigiana was not dry- it was a great portion and a good basic sauce. Nothing like Saint Hubertus restaurant but this isn't San Cassiano, Bolzano it's Puerto Rico and it's satisfying. Located near Church's Chicken and CVS with plenty of parking. You will find the staff attentive and pleasant. I had to ask for water, napkins and pay for bread but who needs the carbs. The music inside was very classy and made you feel like you were someplace other than a Church's Chicken/ Burger King shopping center. Well done! I will not return because there are several other Italian restaurants I want to try. I do recommend if your in the area to stop in and grab a glass of wine and a meal. Just please keep your reviews in perspective for what it is. This spot is solid. Con- they no longer serve baked Alaska dessert.

We met Victor and ended up eating at Bogetta. The brunch was amazing, and Victor was the best server ever. He made our experience a complete 100%. The dates stuffed with sausage were wrapped in bacon and provided the perfect sweet and unexpected savory. We loved it! Hubby ordered the lemon pancakes. Amazing!!! The lemon zest was infused into the light and fluffy pancakes, set off by the light and refreshing lemon cream that was on top of the pancake. The edible fresh flowers and strawberries were a delightful and unexpected touch. I had the huveas sol and wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! The avocados were fresh and tender. The vegetable puree was a wonderful explosion of flavor in my mouth when combined with the perfectly cook sunny side up eggs. Everything we ate was a win! The Oysters were fresh, and very reasonably priced. The Tomate and Avocado Salad (not pictured) was also fresh and light- it was my second choice bc they didn't have the Beets & Goat Cheese Salad. I tried the Bolognese and thought it was a bit boring. The drinks were boozy, but I did find the Paloma too sweet/tart. Overall, it was a great time- nice outdoor space. This is global techniques blended with locally sourced Puerto Rican ingredients. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. I was there to celebrate my birthday (a reservation is a must). I asked if I could be seated in a different section of the restaurant, and even though they were packed, they said absolutely and found me a lovely seat in the bar area. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. I suffer from severe food allergies but wanted to experience their tasting menu. My server spoke to the chef directly and then took the time to walk me through every option. I TRULY appreciated that they did not take anything off the menu but rather told me how they could adjust for my allergies. That is very rare and so very much appreciated that they went that extra mile for me. I highly recommend the tasting menu. It's 5 courses and they give you 3 options to choose from, within each course. And for the price ($85), a great value. Everything was delicious but I highly recommend the Breadfruit Gnocchi, Rainbow Runner Crudo, and Criollo Duck Mofongo. Chefs kiss! What I also noticed was, even though they were insanely busy, they didn't make you feel rushed. The invited you to savor the experience - which I did. Next time you are in San Juan, make a reservation and go. You won't be disappointed!

They have a lovely outdoor seating area, but we opted to sit inside for the ambiance, which turned out to be a great call. Service was excellent from start to finish. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave great recommendations. We decided to go all in on the $85 per person tasting menu. The food ranged from good to very good, and there was a *lot* of it. Standout dishes for me were the ceviche and the desserts, both of which were exceptional. The beef empanadas and breadfruit gnocchi were also highlights. My one criticism is that the tasting menu didn't feel particularly cohesive. We started with yellowfin tuna, moved on to wood-roasted fish, then suddenly shifted into Italian territory with breadfruit gnocchi in a rich buttery sauce before continuing on to beef steak and duck. Individually, many of the dishes were delicious, but together they felt more like a sampler of the restaurant's assortment of dishes rather than a thoughtfully sequenced tasting menu with a clear theme or progression. That said, the quality of the food, generous portions, and outstanding service made for a very enjoyable evening. If you're looking to experience a wide range of the kitchen's offerings, Cocina Abierta delivers.

At first, the food was pretty okay. I got waited on and served relatively quickly. However, my darker skinned friends had to wait a longer time not just to order, but also to get their food. One of my darker skinned friends ordered three empanadas and only received two. When she tried to speak to one of the servers about getting her third empanada they refused. She said she was willing to pay for it, but they refused to serve her what she asked. Then, they said there's always a problem with "you people". Then all of a sudden they lied and said she was trying to scam them. As we're walking out, they start cursing at us and saying things like " I hope everyone except you (referring to my darker skinned friend) has a good day". The servers were overall very disrespectful, they cursed, and they were overly unprofessional. So even though the food was okay this was a horrible experience. As we were leaving, we saw two other darker skinned black women walk up to try and order. We told them about our experience and the servers started lying and saying that we are there every day and always causing problems. This was also untrue. That was the first time we've ever been to this restaurant. We walked a block down the street to wait for our car service. Then moments later, we bumped into the same dark skinned black women we saw earlier and they told us that their presence wasn't even acknowledged. So like I said even though the food was pretty okay. It wasn't good enough to be okay with the blatant colorism where it wasn't expected.
