I've been coming here for years and recently tried to redeem a Groupon. I booked my appointment over the phone with who I thought was an employee or owner of this location. He took down my Groupon redemption code and told me that my appointment was set. I was told that Groupon's weren't able to be redeemed on weekends, so we decided upon this Tuesday. I came in today and it was a pretty routine session and when I came out to leave a tip, I was told I would not be able to use my Groupon redemption code even though that's exactly what I used to even book the appointment over the phone. They told me that I was unable to redeem the code because I was not a first-time customer. They called an owner or manager from another location who after going back-and-forth with me, said that there was no point in us arguing because I was just going to go and write a negative review. The thought of leaving a review never crossed my mind. But after he said that, I thought it was a great idea. All I really wanted was for them to honor our prior conversation from a week ago. Since it was brought to my attention that this is something I could leave a review about I will do so. This will be my last time coming to this location. It's been a good couple years. This is not to discourage anyone from booking, but rather to encourage you all to read the fine print on the Groupon. Because even if you have a verbal conversation with someone on the phone and get confirmation that your appointment is booked, there are chances that they will not honor it. Especially if you are a loyal customer. Unfortunately, all of the relaxation I gained from the massage is now out of the window :)

I have been here three times and all of the masseuses have been chinese women. They claim to use accupressure techniques. So far this has been the best massage I have gotten at a decent price. You can get one hour for $45 or 30 min for $30. They usually try to push for you to take the one hour which is worth it! The hour massage starts with back, shoulder neck to arms and then legs feet and end with scalp and temple massage. These women use a moderate amount of pressure not super hard or painful. Last time the lady asked if I wanted soft, medium or hard before she even started which was awesome. Overall, it is a very relaxing and soothing experience. It is somewhat small massage parlor located in a small shopping center with a liquor store, nail and hair salon. The massage parlor is upstairs with no notable sign except for "Massage" in neon green. Might be hard to find for some. The only complaint I really have is that noise can be an issue. I could hear conversations from next door, customers using restroom, cell phones and sirens from the street. But besides that they usually have some relaxing chinese music on. You are put in a small room behind a curtain. One of the other pros is that they are open from 9 am to 9 pm at night every day which makes it easy to head over after a stressful day at work. There is no appointment needed because they willingly accept walk ins with hardly any wait if at all. They do accept credit cards but charge a $2 fee.

They use firm pressure but if you know massages you know firm pressure doesn't necessarily mean deep tissue. The therapists only follow a memorized routine. Update: The owner decided to respond to my post and called me a liar because he couldn't find all the records of our visits. My bf has went 3 times and I went 2 times. The first massage my bf had by himself was great so he brought me later. The owner messaged me and told me the first person my bf got, only worked there for a brief time. Well that sucks because whoever that person was got my bf to go back but not anyone else! We had an okay massage the second time and the last time was the worst so we stopped going! No body is going to tell you your masseuses are JUST OKAY, they would just stop going back.
