Honestly, the service is really nice here. The lady in the front was super nice and was telling me everything I needed to know and made sure I was comfortable. The beginning of the massage was also going great and the essential oils and hot stones they had were very relaxing, but it honestly started going down hill in the middle of my massage. I'd have to say this was probably one of the most painful massages I have ever had. I understand massages are supposed to hurt especially if there's super tight knots, but this was a whole different experience. It was sharp pain on my bones and I left feeling more tight on my neck/shoulders than I came in. The person massaging me was going way too rough and he had used the edge of the hot stones to dig into my neck which hurt a good amount. To make matters worse, when I was told to turn around to lay on my back, I had realized that the curtain covering the room was open slightly to where anyone could look inside the room and see me! Ok, I had a Groupon for a couples massage with hot stones. The place is ok. If you are looking for Burke Williams vibes, this isn't it. The massage was good, the staff was friendly, the place is older, but looked clean from the parts I saw. The beds that the massages are given on are as hard AF! I did not like that at all!!!! Entitled!!! Don't come here!!! I've been sleeping on a couch for a month and got layed off too. My friend got me this massage and I told her that I'll get her a tip when I come again I just don't have it right now. And she went back and forth with me that it's tradition and that next time I come she's gonna do it rough and hard on me because I didn't give a tip. How do you tell a customer that? My head was hurting so bad and happened to be in culver city and stopped at June snow massage. I specifically asked for head and neck massage and they told me it would be 40$ for 30 mins massage. I told the woman who was massaging me that its only head and neck and all she was doing was my back and told her 3-4 times my head hurts I want my head but she keep on doing my back and right before the 30mins was up she massaged my head for like a minute. We came here a couple of weeks ago to get a couples massage through Groupon. The decor and ambiance leaves a bit to be desired but it wasn't necessarily a deal breaker for us. The massages themselves were pretty good... probably as good as you can get at most places. Our issue with this place occurred AFTER the massages. As we were getting ready to head to the front of the store, I noticed our massage therapist waiting for us near the door. We get to the register to pay a tip and we're informed that cash is preferred over card, which is fine. We didn't have cash so we tried to go the card route. The cashier tells us they charge 30% to use card. I tell her that that's not going to work. After a tense standoff about the tip, we offer to go get cash. Both the massage therapist and cash register spoke to each other in another language then requested we just use card with a 20% fee. We rejected the absurd fee. Noticing their uneasiness about us leaving to get cash, we told them that one of us would stay behind while the other gets cash. Before a final counter offer of $1 fee, they accepted. I've never experienced this type of standoff over a tip. The fact that they assumed (from the beginning) that we were capable of not properly compensating them was offensive. It reminded me of going to a liquor store and being followed by the workers when I was a kid. read more

I bought a Groupon for a couples massage here. Worst experience I've ever had, I showed up to this place, they tell me they tried to text us and tell us to go to a different location. I get to this random new location, they place us in a room right in front of the front desk, so we can hear the people speaking the entire time, not relaxing. Then the lights were on the entire time, my BF gave his lady a 5/10 my lady was 65 years old and absolute SUCKED at her job, she left the room at least 5 times during my massage leaving me a minimum of 5 minutes short on my 60 minute massage. I couldn't warn you enough not to go to this crappy place. I spent way too much money to be this pissed after what should have been a relaxing experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Went last week and again today. I had Bill do my 30 minute foot and 30 minute back massage. He found all the knots I have buried in my muscles. He did a great job. My favorite is the hot towels after the massage to relax you. He always wipes off any oil on my back and feet so I don't leave all greasy. Stay away from this rude, unskilled, loud, and abusive massage parlor. When you walk in there are 2 price charts, one for regular prices and one with prices if you give them a good review on Yelp. (Bribe) That should have been a warning sign because good places speak for themselves. You come out feeling so amazing you want to rave about it. Not here. The lady then said no, look here when I was looking at the Yelp review discounted price. She pointed and said, no, this one. For the regular priced massage, no discount. I was fine with that I was just reading it because it called my attention because it has decorative golden stars all over the sign. Anyways, I payed $65 for "deep tissue" plus tip. I only tipped because I didn't want problems and was hesitant to just walk out after a terrible and painful massage. This experience made me google if tip was mandatory because she literally hurt me. I could have walked out no tip because she did NOT deserve even the over a dollar a minute they charge. There is no way this lady was certified. She had absolutely NO skill. She just angrilly pressed her body weight with no skill. Kept angrily and harshly stabbing her elbow. The ladies here are rude and laugh amongst themselves in their Asian language but the worst is that they do not have healing or calm energy. The lady that massaged me seemed angry to be assigned someone new by her boss lady, like she was already tired and would be fired if she didn't do it. When someone touches you, energy transfers. She transfered I hate my job, I don't want to do this, I have no energy, I am not skilled, and I wish I wasn't here right now energy. I have tipped big time in places where they take care of me, it was not the price. It is what they offer for the price. A painful experience. I came here on my weekend to relax. I received the opposite treatment of angry hate. I have the money, but I came to get some healing not your hatred energy. These ladies must have a stressful life, can't get a job doing something else due to a language barrier, they dont understand your english, and just do this to try to pay their bills. A certified massage therapist at least took the time to go to school and learn the body and how to heal it and massage without hurting you. This Asian lady hurt me, for $85 dollars an hour. I thought the price would match the service. Not at all! For not much more you can have a professional who won't hurt you like this lady did. I would stay away. You might get someone else but even then the customer service was terrible. It is supposed to be a relaxing environment, not angry Asian ladies stabbing well paying clients and laughing amongst each other. Never again. Not even with a different therapist because they are also Rude! These Asian ladies did not have calm energy. They are angry, unskilled, will hurt you, charge like a professional and laugh amongst each other while doing it. Go heal yourself somewhere else. There is a reason they bribe for reviews. We came here for 90 min Swedish massage and we had a good time. They prefer either cash or Venmo which was fine. If you pay in credit card there was a fee. The guy that worked on me he work out some of my shoulder knots and during the massage it was painful but it was all worth it at the end. After my massage I felt great and relax. I didn't buy the Groupon deal because I read one of the yelp reviews mentioning that they might have a better deal. When I went in - the Groupon deal was actually better, however, they accommodated me as a first timer and gave me the Groupon special regardless :) I did 60 minute deep tissue massage and it was the best massage I've gotten in such a long time. I was in so much pain, and Anna helped to get all my knots out. I'm feeling so much better and I will definitely be back real soon (not just for injuries!). I did a couples massage and they automatically just gave my guy partner a lady to massage him, she stood in his back but unfortunately I did not receive the same treatment. I expect for us to have the same experience especially because he does not like that stuff and I do. I expect my masseuse to step on my back. ALSO I had a male massage me & I expected him to massage him hard/rough but he was very gentle that I did not feel like a massage at all! He just kept rubbing my middle back over and over and I told him multiple times if he can massage me harder and on my shoulders mainly he only last 2 minutes doing that and went back to my middle back to rub it. The only pro of his massage was that he massaged my feet longer than expected. They had bugs inside the room, looked like roaches and when we went to go give our tip I confirmed it was roaches because it was on top of their water dispenser & I couldn't drink any water after my massage which is usually crucial to drink some water after a massage. I've been here twice in one week and I plan on staying at this massage spa forever! It's not the most beautiful spa, but it's very peaceful and all of the workers have been a delight!
