I've enjoyed every single time and the place is clean and staff are kind. however I do want to point out that they use Lysol wipes to wipe you down after the massage. That is very strange and I think you all should look into using warm towels instead because Lysol wipes, some people may be alleric and they are drying . Masseuse used cold towel at the beginning, lacked technique and almost took off my index finger trying to crack my fingers. When I yelped in pain, she tried to grab my hand again to massage it. I had to ask her to not touch my finger. I got the deep tissue with hot stone massage and she used one rock at the nape of my neck, period. So the reason why I choose this place is because it was my partners bday and he wanted to go to the Getty museum since it just reopened due to the fires and this place was really close by. Based on the online reviews, we expected a relaxing and professional experience. When we arrived, the spa appeared clean, charming, and peaceful. The front desk staff were friendly and checked us in quickly. Before the session, I mentioned to one of the front desk attendants that I had a very stiff upper back. She recommended a mix of massage techniques and suggested a male masseuse, Cesar. As a gay man, I generally feel more comfortable with female therapists, but I trusted her recommendation and agreed. The massage started normally, but after some time, I began to notice something disturbing--Cesar's crotch repeatedly brushed against my hands. At first, I tried to dismiss it as unintentional, assuming it was just a result of his positioning. However, when he was massaging my right arm, he again positioned himself so that his crotch was in contact with my hand. This time, when he reached to massage my hand, he squeezed it--forcing me to make direct contact with his crotch. He then had the audacity to ask if I was okay. At that moment, I was in shock, doubting what had just happened and questioning whether I was imagining it. The rest of the massage continued without further incident until he had me turn onto my back. While massaging my chest, he leaned over my head, bringing his face uncomfortably close to mine. At one point, I am almost certain he attempted to kiss me. I turned my head away, deeply disturbed, and at that point, I just wanted the massage to end. I resolved that if anything else inappropriate happened, I would walk out immediately. Thankfully, he did not take it further, and the session concluded. Feeling completely violated and disgusted, I quickly got dressed and headed to the front desk. My heart was racing, but Cesar was still present, so I hesitated to say anything in front of him. When he eventually left, the front desk attendant asked if I wanted to leave a tip. That's when I tried to express what had happened, though I struggled to put my experience into words. The staff member seemed shocked and insisted that nothing like this had ever been reported before. She told me she would contact the owner to see what could be done. However, instead of calling the owner, she went to the back and brought Cesar out, instructing me to repeat my complaint to him directly. This was incredibly inappropriate and retraumatizing. Thankfully, my partner was there to support me, but the entire situation felt mishandled. Unsurprisingly, Cesar denied everything and provided weak excuses. Even more disturbingly, the front desk attendant took his side, reiterating that he had been working there for years without issue. Let me be clear--I know what happened. I know what I felt. No denial or excuse can change that. I was 100% violated. The fact that the staff prioritized protecting an employee over ensuring customer safety is beyond unacceptable. I waited 24 hours for the owner to contact me regarding this incident, but no one ever reached out. This confirms that they care more about their reputation and employees than the well-being of their customers. I want to emphasize that I am not seeking a refund--I could not care less about the $270 I spent on this couples massage. My only concern is holding Cesar accountable so that no one else has to endure what I experienced. It is also worth noting that many positive reviews mention Cesar by name, but almost all of them are from women. This makes me question whether he only targets male clients. Regardless, no one should ever have to experience this. For your safety, I strongly urge you to avoid Soul Spa. This establishment does not take allegations of misconduct seriously, and they are complicit in protecting an employee over ensuring the well-being of their clients. read more

I felt relaxed from the minute I crawled into the plush warm burrito blanket.. So many places don't have a warm environment and you end up shivering on the table which is so counterproductive. She started the massage with a hot warm towel along my back and neck It was so amazing... I was fortunate to land with Athena who had the most intuitive hands. She worked out those knots in my upper back neck and head with such a rhythm that it almost felt like a trans meditation. I walked out feeling so much better and the following day even more so. We walked in and there were two ladies sitting on the chairs with their legs up chilling like they are in their living rooms ... they didn't even get up to greet us and stayed seated ... very conceited ... We booked the massage for 8:00 pm and then she said we have to wait until 8:30 pm because the masseuse was "on his way" ... we let that go and said ok sure ... I chose the two-hour signature deep tissue massage with Tylik. I didn't have a massage in a while and I needed treatment of some stiffness issues that had built up over the past months. I have been disappointed by many massage places, because the massages often were too soft. I need a strong massage to losem stiff muscles. Tylik did not disappoint! The massage was very strong. I had to bite the towel a few times, because he really hit the points. That was the kind of positive pain I needed to regain mobility. I felt deeply relieved after the massage and most of my stiff problems were gone. I will surely return. I hope they will be able to keep the very reasonable prices. I could imagine to come frequently for shorter massages to avoid build up of stiffness. If they would sell a 5- or 10-massage pass with discounts (like they do next door at Dance Fit), I would be the first in line to buy a pass :-) read more
