Croque Madame with Side of Chorizo and Side of Avocado
    Neechi M.

Croque Madame was delicious- one of the best breakfasts I've ever had but they have some operational issues that kept me from giving 5 stars. They don't offer glasses of Prosecco (only bottle) even though they offer glasses of mimosa, the food took varying amounts of time, and the wait staff seemed quite stressed a lot of the time. Felt bad like they were having a tough time. Food was very good though. Would highly recommend going!

Lalo is a highly recommended place across the board. While the food and service is great I had to give it four starts because it's simply wasn't stellar. I have to admit I think this place is more of a "tourist" attraction - don't get me wrong there are plenty of locals however, the food is good not anything too special about it. I do think you are able to find better option elsewhere. The service was excellent and all staff was very attentive and kind! The chilaquiles were just okay, nothing special, a little too tart for my taste - I would've loved something spicier. The coffee was excellent and the almond croissant was great! I would definitely go back and perhaps try something different.

Sat outside on a beautiful morning as they just opened at 8am. The service was excellent, and the food great. I got the avocado toast and bacon with a croissant to start. Everything was great, including the espresso. Solid spot in Roma Norte

Great find for breakfast. Casual atmosphere with top notch semi-formal service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Wifey had a latte with a granola bowl. I had a cappuccino with eggs and huitlacoche. Our table shared a tamale with green sauce, which was divine. Overall excellent.

Saturday morning, short wait time. Not a spot locals go to. Food was good. Service was not good. Either new staff or understaffed. Outdoor set up is good.

This place was so good I ate here TWICE while in CDMX. some of the best pasta I've ever had was this wagyu steak pasta. Chilaquiles were great too but the bacon was pretty pricey (it was extra). This place is a little bit more pricey compared to others but given the quality of food it's honestly great. Staff is friendly, and we never waited long for a seat (no more than 20 min). You can eat indoors or outdoors, the are is nice. You can come casual but it is more on the slightly upscale side.

Fantastic brunch at Lalo! Busy Sunday morning but able to snag an outside seat on a gorgeous morning. Server was so nice and accommodating. The mimosa was made with fresh squeezed OJ! And the chilaquiles were absolutely delightful.

The best chilaquiles we had in Mexico City!! Such a beautiful presentation and very bright flavors. We also enjoyed their coffee and juice options. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and out. The bathroom was clean. Service was fast, and prices were reasonable.

BEST FRENCH TOAST EVER !!! All of their savory dishes are well balanced in flavor. The pastries were really good as well. But the French toast was to die for - crisp exterior and super fluffy and light interior. If you only get one thing - try the French toast! (Unless you aren't a sweets person)

Scrabbled eggs with escamoles and green sauce. Do note that escamoles are insect caviar

Wow! This is one of the my favorite breakfast places I have ever been to in the world. Chilaquiles are my favorite Mexican breakfast. Lalo has my favorite Chilaquiles, so this is one of the best breakfasts that I have ever had. The green sauce is amazing! That was my favorite green sauce ever. The spice is on the mild to moderate level. But the flavors were bursting. I sopped up the extra sauce with a tortilla after finishing the dish. Then I bought a liter of the green sauce to take home. I can't get enough of it! The scrambled eggs with escamoles was different.... When I looked it up I found that it was an insect product. That was my fault, I am not a big fan of eating insects. I know that it is a local custom so I will not really have a review of this dish. The croissant was just OK for me. I think it was a bit over done. I don't think I would order this again. The flat white and cappuccino were fresh and delicious. They are not overly sweet but that is how I like my coffee drinks. The late art was a nice touch. Overall this is a definite five star because the Chilaquiles with green sauce and fried egg was one of the best breakfast dishes of my life!

Incredible service. Tasty menu. Chill vibes. Breakfast Sandwich - 5/5 Chicken Tamale - 5/5 I've eaten here a few times, and it never disappoints. The entire menu is delicious. I've yet to try their Chilaquiles...it's always sold out when I arrive. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. The tamales were amazing. Servers are super friendly and helpful.

Believe the hype! This place has the best breakfast in Roma Norte. The scrambled eggs with cotija cheese and Chorizo were perfectly seasoned and came with a side of Avocado. The staff are also very friendly and can communicate in English if needed. Our drinks (fresh squeezed OJ + chai with oat milk) were also perfect. Don't think twice about visiting Lalo - just do it!

The table next to us was talking how they had altitude sickness and took their water bottles out to take a sip. The staff rushed over and took the water away! Told them they could have it back after their meal. I've never seen or heard of such a thing. Wine list was subpar and was hoping to have more wines from vineyards in Mexico.
