My daughter and I were craving something cold and delightful and we decided to stop at Lalos. Let me tell you, the pictures do not do the Mangonadas justice! They are delicious, not too sweet and it has a nice smoothie shaved ice texture! The Chamoy and tajin consistency/ratio was perfect! The best mangonada i ever had, my daughter agrees too! I ordered the bionic and asked for no melon, and no apples I just wanted the mango, banana and strawberry it also came with, next time ill do without the mango too, its hit and miss with mango texture and sweetness! Their bionico sauce was delicious, for a bionics and large mangonada i paid 16.75 its a lil pricey but worth the freshness, staff was nice, great pic ops, only complaint was the smell Inside was a little displeasing smelt like old cleaning supplies. Been here 2 times. First time treats were yummy (corn in a cup w/hot Cheetos & Açaí bowl.) Second time I ordered pepinos locos which seemed yummy and I had heard of them and seen that they're filled with peanuts and pickled pork skin. I was very disappointed that my cucumbers were not filled with anything. They only had 2 peanuts inside and I have seen the cucumbers are carved deep down and filled. I have been here four times and three out of the four were NOT good experiences. The first time I went there I ordered a Chili sandia and it was great! The second time I ordered the same thing and it was not the same. It tasted old. (No the season of fruit was not different either because I went within the span of two weeks). The third time I got a mangonada and the mango was super hard. So finally I decided one to take one last shot at this place because I really enjoyed it the first time. Here is what happened: My dad ordered a strawberry yogurt, when they gave it to him there were strawberries, mangos, and a bunch of other fruits on it. He told them he ordered it with only strawberries. (He has a health condition when it comes to other fruits so that's why he can only have strawberries) They told him that's just the way it comes. He told them he ordered only strawberry AND THEY DID NOTHING. Didn't offer to remake it or a refund. All they did was give him a blank stare?? That is HORRIBLE customer service, I gave this place many chances but treating my dad the way they did, I'm done here. I rather go across the street to foods co, get my own fruits, and make it myself. Probably would be cheaper anyway. read more

Never disappoints! We've been coming to Lalo's for our antojitos ever since it opened, they've always been friendly and the quality has always been good even when they were slammed. I was sad to see the low ratings but upon reviewing the submissions it seems that people would rather have the McDonald's equivalent of their antojitos: fast and low quality. Fortunately you won't get that at Lalo's and if that's what you're aiming for you can go elsewhere. I on the other hand will continue coming here for my antojitos! read more

Very disappointed with the Watsonville location. The girl on the register was not friendly or welcoming at all. The entire place was a mess. The floors and tables were supper dirty. The area were the food is being prepared looked dirty and super messy. I also noticed that the workers don't change their gloves as they are going to prepare a different order. I don't appreciate that they touch cheese and aother products and then use the same gloves to make an agua fresca. My agua de limón tasted like a Minute Maid Lemonade. This is just a big NO.. NO!! I found this place on Instagram and was so excited to try this place with my boyfriend and his sister. The photos on instagram hold up to their truth in person, but looks can be deceiving. I got the mangoneadas and almost all of the mango was disgustingly unripe and hard. Same for the mango yogurt that my boyfriend received. The crazy nachos were decent, but we ran put of chips with a ton of topping left. Elote cups: ok if you really like cream. Now for the customer service: awful. My boyfriend was very nice the three times he asked for napkins and utensils, but the first time he asked for napkins the reply was "idk where we keep those sorry" how do you work somewhere and not know where napkins are?! This is for the WATSONVILLE location!!! I decided to give Lalo's a try and picked it over the Michoacána. Worst mistake of my life. I understand you barley opened about less than a month ago but you should really make sure ur employees are trained. First of all ur cashier had me waiting for at least 10 minutes because she dissapeared to the back. Then she didnt hand me change and proceeded to tell me she would give it to me in a bit. Later I come to find out she didnt even take my order right. So tell me why it was almost $20 for 3 things and one of them being a single scoop of Ice cream and I couldn't even argue because no receipt was given. As my things were being made all three kids ( I mean kids still on high school) were standing there because no one knew how to make it. And then the girl who took my order made it without gloves or washing her hands and she made it wrong and forgot one of the main parts the jicama. No forks were giving only napkins. And the worst part was the ice cream took the longest to get. At the end the cashier gave me my icecream without a spoon (the girl ignored me when I asked for one she was having a conversation with her coworker) and then proceeded to tell me she never charged me for the other one and then told me if I wanted another it would be $3 more like $2 since she still had my one dollar. I then said no I just want that one and then asked if I wanted a $1 scoop or my change of course I said change and left Never going back not worth $20 or the struggle. Overhyped in my opinion. They don't have an AC so it's always hot and smelly inside. Also they never have half there menu or always missing something. They have rats and roaches and have mosquitoes and flies sit on the food before giving it out too customer so I would think twice about going. Employees are given no training and treated poorly. I heard if there injured on the job there asked too tell the doctor it was "nonwork" related. Owner fights with customers kinda nasty. Also health department closed them down for 1 week but they decided too stay open and cover up the reason why they really closed. Owner will probably respond claiming these are fake accusations but I have proof in video recordings and health department documents. So try me and I'll post everything on social media and make sure you shut down. Or worse call the health department. :) read more

So this place started as a very cute place I remember there was an older lady who was usually always there and maybe her son? I'm not sure. Anyways they got new ownership and the treats remained the same and then they became more popular on Instagram and just stopped caring about providing quality service. They don't answer their phones. They don't open on time I've given them multiple chances because at the end of the day they are a local business but every single time these guys disappoint. Their treats may be good but they're the only place in town like this and they take advantage of it. I hope they realize if someone else in the town of soledad opens up a business like them they'd lose more than half of their customers for their awful service. I've messaged them about it in the past and all they've been able to say is "We sorry :(" also if you do plan to go plan to wait 40 mins for your food. I'm not sure if it's the lack to want to employee to profit more or what but they only ever have 2 people working sometimes if you're lucky 3 but the wait is forever. read more

I was so disappointed with the quality of the food. After waiting about 15 minutes for two orders of nachos with no other orders but ours we received our nachos with stale chips and stale hot Cheetos. I personally think this is the worst place to come by. Such a waste of money when I could of made better nachos at home. I got these because I was going to watch a volleyball game and the nachos at the high school concession stand were 10x better. Only giving them a one star because that's the lowest rating possible. Though I must admit the music playing was a bit loud, it takes you away from the quiet reality of life and throws you into some kind of hot Cheeto party. The prices are very fair as is the quality is there. Many people complain about the service in their reviews; however, the current cashier offered no sass or drama. She did her job and did it well. I hadn't been to this shop for a while. I first came here when I discovered I was going to have a baby, and the morning sickness didn't allow me to drink anything other than the delicious fresh strawberry smoothies this shop offers. So I looked at my husband and told him hey I thought we ordered 1st so I went up to the register and asked in a nice manner way "I'm sorry to but is our order coming and she asked me oh under what name and gave her the name then she told me it's coming up right next. Worst place. We're not from around here stopped because the menu looked amazing. We were greeted poorly. The girl at the register took my phone number down and said she'd call when my order was ready 40 minutes passed and all the customers after us were getting their orders so I went in to check on mine and the girl literally pulled out my order receipt from the trash bin. I asked for my money back and they had one of the items ready, but I couldn't wait any longer so she still deducted what the mangoneada was worth from my money back.
