Grants Auto Service was recommended to me by several acquaintances. That was over a year ago and he has taken care of us ever since. I say 'us' because, my car is always working in perfect condition and as for me. I am never ever charged a price that is padded in any way and prices are always reasonable. It is never suggested I need to have something done that isn't needed. My only problem with Grants Auto Service and yes, I do have a problem. I now live in Branson and they will not relocate just for me! So, I will be driving to Carthage this Thursday for a needed repair. There is no one else I trust. Smiling!

I researched and found Maxell's. Tabatha at the front desk drove me back home and kept me informed as to what was going on then picked me up when the car was ready. The invoice was detailed down to a .25 cent charge. When they told me the part that needed to be replaced I looked it up on the internet just to have a reference point. Maxwell's billing was consistent with what they billed me. They even vacuumed the carpet. I was happy with everything and will now consider them to be my new mechanic.

To further outrage the truck was misfiring loudly and constant. Robert explaination was that he hadn't drove it around much because it needed gas! I guess he couldn't put $20 in to check out how it was driving. None the less you could hear it wasn't running soundly. His explanation...probably water in the exhaust to drive a bit and it should stop. No! Not only did it continue for the 20 miles I drove it but it also was shaking. I turn around to take it back during business hours and he has closed the shop. Guessing it was to run to the bank to cash my check for a job that wasn't complete I put a stop pymt on the check. After knowing this he eventually corrected the issues one being crossed spark plug wires but not without being rude and hateful and demanding cash pymt. Didn't want to accept a cashier check for pymt like it is my fault I had do protect myself with stop pymt bc the work wasn't done correctly. I don't how a honest or competent mechanic would return a vehicle running like that! Save yourself the hastle and go somewhere else!

I called Redemption Motorsports because of all the amazing things I have heard about the shop. They got my car in the same day! I then found out that they are an Authorized Mishimoto Dealer and decided that I was just going to replace anything and everything related to my cooling system. They had to order the parts from Mishimoto which only took a few days to get. In the meantime, they kept my car in the shop where it was safe instead of putting it outside like any other shop would do. When they started working on my car they noticed some other things that needed replaced. Paige called me immediately and already had a quote ready. I will put a list of everything I did below. I cannot stress enough how amazing this shop is and how fair they are. They are good honest people who treat you with respect and don't try to take you for everything you have. Honestly when I was there they made me feel like family, what other shop is like that around here???
