First time buying a real Christmas tree for mine and Dario O.'s first home! We've been waiting and searching for a place since beginning of November, and thankfully Lamb's was open just in time for our first thanksgiving dinner! ***CASH ONLY!*** You can't miss their location because they have a huge inflatable snowman peeping at you while you're driving on the freeway! Parking may be a hassle. There's no parking lot, just a dirt road to share. So plan accordingly. We went on their opening day so there were a lot of trees to choose from. We didn't know the difference between the trees but someone kindly explained it to us. Don't ask me now though, I forgot. The have a ton to choose from. Ranging from height, thickness of branches, and some with "snow" on it. They also sell fresh garlands and wreaths. We ended up getting one that's probably 6 feet tall. It's $3 extra for a net; which I think should be free but what do I know I guess. The net basically helps making your tree travels a little easier. So I def suggest paying that extra $3. Thankfully, they also help tying the tree to your car! Buying a tree isn't cheap, but the memories will last forever hehe We made it home safely and now it's all decorated! read more

Great selection of fresh cut trees, natural and flocked, in a variety of heights. We picked ours out within minutes and very easily flagged a worker over to come and help us prepare it for its ride home. Friendly and fast service, even for a busy Saturday morning. We appreciate this family owned and operated business and are thankful they are still in business. Some things to be aware of, though.... 1) it's cash only. There are ATMs on site if needed for a surcharge I'm sure. 2) Not everyone is wearing masks, including the worker who helped carry and stow our tree onto our car. Not sure about the mask regulations of Solano County (we are from Yolo), but that did stress me out a little. I just tried to steer myself and my little one away from the unmasked folks as best I could and am hoping we all remain healthy. If this freaks you out like it does me, you might choose to go on a weekday. read more

First time at this tree lot and it was great. I was amazed at all the beautiful trees. And great customer service too. They're all open and on a stand to view from all sides. In the past we've gone to Home Depot and the trees are wrapped up and not the prettiest. There were so many to choose from, it took us a minute to pick a tree. I love our tree! Has a branch at the top for our star, its a large full tree for a good price. We even purchased a wreath. We'll be back next year for sure. read more

We came back to Lamb's for our tree this year. They opened early so I'm excited to have it up all December. We went with a flocked tree this year. It's GORGEOUS! My son even picked out a mini tree for his room. As always, everyone was super kind and helpful. Tons of people "shopping" when we were Saturday afternoon. The whole process is always so smooth here. Bit of a wait as everyone appeared to find the perfect tree at the same time. A line formed to have our tree trimmed, netted and taken out, but the employees were working very hard to help everyone out in order. We bought our Christmas tree here yesterday and noticed it was leaning a bit. We figured it was the way they had set it on the stand and it would be fixed when they gave it a fresh cut. They gave it a fresh cut, net it and in total I paid $130. Well, I came home and put it in the Christmas tree stand and it turns out the tree is just lopsided. That's how the tree grew as you can see in the photo. It looks very bad and looks like it's about to fall over. We get a Christmas tree once a year and of course we want it to look nice. My wife called Lambs, told them the problem and said they could exchange. Great. I drive back to Lambs Vacaville and it turns out my wife called Lambs Fairfield. No big deal they're the same company they should still be able to help out right? Nope. The woman at the register advised me they wouldn't take it and there's nothing they could do because "that's just how it grew". Yeah I get that's how it grew but no one wants a crooked tree. It shouldn't have been on the lot to begin with. And now I'm out $130 for a tree we only buy once a year and it's supposed to be the centerpiece of all the Christmas decor. It's very disappointing to have a tree this way and also disappointing to be told by the business that there's nothing they can do. I would have been happy even if they couldn't do an exchange but I pay like 50% or something for a new one. Oh well. Merry Christmas I guess. Get your tree elsewhere. Had such a great experience here! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and there were so many good looking trees that we had a hard time picking one since they all looked good! Seriously super healthy trees, not dry or disheveled looking at all. The staff there helped us load and tie our tree up to our vehicle, which was so helpful since we had the kiddos in tow. Parking might be an issue as there in only parking along the road and bring cash or you will have to use their onsite ATM. read more

I have bought Christmas trees from Lamb's many times over the years. Their staff is always helpful and their tree selection is great. I would give them a five but after today's disappointing visit I'm giving them a 3. Not a single employee was masked up, even when in close contact with customers. I couldn't help but laugh at the irony of a groups of 6 employees all standing in a circle chatting underneath a sign reading "masks required". I think a company who is all about bringing Christmas into peoples homes would show more respect for their clients well being at the height of the pandemic - doing their part to ensure a healthy Christmas for everyone. Eh...it was fine. Stopped by because we haven't seen many tree lots to choose from and this one has a huge snowman off the freeway. Parking was easy enough, we just weren't impressed with the selection. 2 different kinds to choose from but none with a "wow" factor. No tall....or fat.....or beautiful even, just regular trees. Ended up with an eight foot tree ($97.00 with tax) that will do for this year. Sorry to say we won't be back next year though. read more

Nice trees, however, Vacaville Lamb's - customer service not so great. All the guys were just standing in the front not greeting, not helping the customers walking in, just talking amongst themselves. I was trying to get some help but they were so busy talking to each other in their huddle...I gave up. Just as I turned around to leave...an employee (who wasn't in the huddle) asked if we needed help. At first, he wasn't wearing a mask, but as he came to help us...he voluntarily put on his mask. I wish I got his name because he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He explained that they no longer are flocking the trees as they put all their equipment away. I appreciate that he was respectful enough to put on his American Flag bandana mask. If you go to Lamb's seek this man out. He is great. All the others are "blah". Also to flock your tree costs $10 per foot. You'll also be able to get a nice 6-7ft Noble for $99. Lamb's in Fairfield by the AutoMall- their selection of trees during mid-December is never good. We stop by every.single.year. and never see a wide variety of trees. They do have some friendly kids/teens greeting at the front. The kids/teens are also pretty knowledgeable and polite, however, not wearing masks. read more

We wanted to get a Christmas tree at a local lot instead of going to the usual places like Lowe's or Home Depot. This location always pops up during the end of November. They carry a large variety of trees and their prices are about the same as any other lot. They have an ATM on site and do not accept any major credit cards, debit or personal checks. So be sure to bring cash. The grounds are organized and they carry flocked trees in a large tent for showing. I'm sure you can request to get your tree sprayed with artificial snow, but I'm not sure how much that service would be. Their trees are laid out in organized columns so you could pass through many with ease. I like that the trees are not pre wrapped in netting because you see what you get, without having to guess how your tree will look once it's unwrapped and washed. We ended up getting a Charlie Brown tree because I wanted to try something different this year. It's disposal will be much easier than the larger trees we've bought in the past years. Oh and when I say "Charlie Brown" tree I mean to say that's it's really short and skinny and does not have that full shape like the Scotch Pine. I believe the tree we got is called a Silver Tip I love supporting local businesses so this would be a great place to get your Christmas trees. The only bad thing I have to say is that when we paid for the tree the clerk did not look friendly and calculated the tax wrong. Unless there was a charge for the wrapping that we were not informed about. read more
