When I stated I was uncomfortable and in SEVERE PAIN I was told to "just be quiet, I am almost finished" the nurses leaned all over my body during the procedures. The procedures in general felt 'rushed' as if the nurses did not want to be there and do their job. I felt extremely uncomfortable and violated, I was not reassured once, I was not informed about the process, I felt as if I was being treated like a criminal in a place that is supposed to show you the most care and comfort. There were at LEAST, 8 different nurses in a room with you, one of them will be playing on their phone while the other is playing around on her Apple Watch, while the other is being trained. We are the practice dummies. These nurses are right out of high school and have absolutely no idea what is going on around them. I would never, EVER recommend anybody to this hospital! I am traumatized, I will never be returning. I will need therapy after my experience at this Ephrata hospital. Please, if you care about your health and body, do not go here, do not send your children here.

If you have HMO insurance please communicate with your insurance provider prior to each visit because the system tends to somehow 'change your PCP'. If you stop in for a referral for a specialist, be sure they do not provide you with an expired referral number. Also be sure they don't overcharge you if you have a copay. Know how much your copay is going in. COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER before stepping foot in here because again, they will schedule your appointment and wait until you arrive to tell you information is missing and you can't be seen. They are located on the lower level as soon as you walk in. It's clean and has lots of seating. No appointment is necessary although you can make an appointment if that's more convenient. They not only treat injuries, but also have physical therapy by appointment. The hours are beyond convenient (open M-F until 7:30pm and even Saturday hours). Every staff member was very helpful and they take care of your needs. Everyone is friendly. Their level of care is terrific and they are efficient. I was in and out in less than an hour. This is a one stop shop! They have X-rays available right there in the office which makes treatment so much easier. They also have many contraptions that one may need for orthopedic care without having to go some other place. The most incredible thing is that you can just walk-in without an apt! There's a kiosk at the front of the waiting area where you register and scan your license and insurance information. They then call you to the desk to complete the process and where you pay your copay. Within minutes - depending upon the amount of people in the waiting room - you are called back. This is like a walk-in clinic but without all the sickness/germs and waiting! I am sure it would be more of a wait if there were more people there with me. However, all components of the process run smoothly and efficiently. I cannot recommend this place enough! I am going to share with as many people as I can. Their prices are even better than those quick care places. It's wonderful having a place that is walk-in for those who unfortunately get injured outside of the normal time window of care at a doctor's office. It's nice that they specialize in orthopedic excellence!!

The second time we went up to schedule an X-ray, she didn't even give us a chance to say what we needed to do. So she took the paperwork and walked away. Then she had to go figure out what was going on. A few minutes later she came back blaming us for not telling her that we needed to schedule an X-ray. "We went sent out here by the nurse to schedule the X-ray" "What do you mean schedule? We can do it right now " "Okay then we will do that? Parking is tight and tough, but ok it's the city, so that was managed. Checked in online, choosing the option to stay in the car until receiving a text to go into the facility. I quickly received this text and went inside, to a very small waiting area and the woman behind the window looking blankly at me. I gave her my name, unsolicited, and she asked me all the same registration questions that I had already answered, still ok.... pretty similar to all other medical appointment check in. I sat down and waited, not in my car, but in the very small now crowded waiting room, and waited and waited. Probably about 10 minutes later I hear a male voice calling my first name, I have no idea from where or if it's me they're calling, no direction, no instruction, just my name. I decided to let myself into the procedure area, again my name, but no instruction. Finally, the voice directs me to bay 1 and I find a frustrated phlebotomy tech waiting for me............box window fan on full blast and intent on his need to draw labs. He cleanses my skin, mind you fan on full blast, and manages the stick pretty easily. Labs done, bandage applied, and no instruction, no you're done, no head back out the way you came in...just silence. Needless to say, I walked myself out past the very crowded waiting room and blankly staring woman behind the glass. Now, all knowing, I guess I'd return if this was the required facility for such procedures, but wow, just wow.

I arrived twenty mins early, stayed in my car and confirmed. I waited ten mins until I could check in all online from my phone. It wasn't even 5 minutes until the text said for me to come in. The young lady at the desk was very nice and asked me to go to room 2. She was right behind me. We had pleasant small talk and I was done. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I barely felt a stick; she was excellent! It is very limited on parking space but I won't hesitate to go back. I felt very comfortable.
