    Mold behind the toilet.

I recently stayed at the Lancaster Inn & Suites as part of a group trip. The stay was so disappointing on so many levels. Upon arrival at the hotel, signs were posted that the hotel was undergoing renovations. While some hotel rooms may have undergone renovation, Room 215 had not. We checked into our rooms with an hour to rest and change before our next event. Entering my room, the (1) refrigerator was leaking and the water had reached the bed bottom. I used my break time to clean up the leak and get more towels, (2) dust/clean the entire room which had a white hue (3), and recover the pillowcases which were yellow (instead of white). When I returned to the room after dinner, around 10 p.m., there was an (4) "ant" invasion in the bathroom where I also saw the (5) mold growing in the wall behind the toilet. I called Management and they came and sprayed in the bathroom for the ants and the cracks and crevices. Due to sensitives from the spray, the Manager took me to see a second room. The second room was a suite, but equally dusty/dirty with paint chipping off the walls. At that late hour, I was exhausted, out of cleaning wipes and returned to my room and wore two face masks to hide the smell of the bug spray. The next morning, there were issues with the (6) shower, leading to a flood in the bathroom, the room foyer and into the hallway. I stepped out of the shower into a quarter inch of water on the floor filled with the dead ants killed the previous night. I called Management to request help and more towels. They brought the towels and handed them to me...and I requested they stop the water as it was already in hallway. Upon returning home, I looked at your hotel reviews - you were aware of all my issues but chose to book these "problem" rooms anyway, disappointing to the level where you diminished by vacation experience.

    More stains and hair

Starting off with the bad. There was so many stains and so much hair in our bed when we arrived. We went down stairs to request a bed sheet change. The front desk guy was really helpful to the situation. He tried to ask the cleaners to come change our bed sheets. The cleaner then said he would be up in a few minutes, so we went back up to our room to wait. 45 minutes go by nothing. So we called down and then was told he would be up in a couple more minutes. Another 30 minutes go by and the front desk guy shows up to our door apologizing profusely for the cleaners actions. He brought us the sheets to change them ourselves. The floors were sticky and there was hair in the mini fridge. Ending with the good, the bed was really comfy, room was really spacious. And again the night front desk clerk was trying to fix the situation and we really thank him for trying.

We stayed here for a soccer tournament. Very nice accommodations. Small amount of staff but very nice. Located between bigger towns but close to several breweries and restaurants, maybe 5 to 10 minutes away. Small outdoor pool but nice areas to sit and relax outside. A bit pricey but rates go up during tournaments. Worth a look especially if you're going to visit Hershey park, far enough away, but close enough as well.

My poor grandmother is in the hospital after being so bitten up by bedbugs and when went brought to management's attention they said 'they'd clean the room' unfortunately for us we thought the room WAS cleaned. No sympathy, no care. Definitely showed us they just care about the money and not the customer.

Nice little place a lot of kids. Kind of in the middle of nowhere with but near places that you need to go like a smorgasbord's and the Wolf Sanctuary. An inn turned nto a hotel. Little dated but seems to be very clean.

We stayed in the Courtney Room which was on the second floor. It was a small room but it was perfect for us! It was right off a shared living room but lucky for us, no one was in that room! The B&B was within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown. We ended up walking to dinner and then did a mini-pub crawl! When we arrived "home" later in the evening, there were some fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting for us! We really enjoyed them and even took some up to the room for later! The next morning we woke to find coffee in the living room at 7am. The coffee from Whiff Roasters was to die for! Breakfast was served later in the dining room and it was delicious! Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend the Lititz House Bed & Breakfast!!

Excellent accommodations, friendly proprietors, not too in your face…read more First of all, let me preface this by telling you I usually don't like B&Bs. There's nothing that annoys me more than B&B operators who feel they have to be so nice and helpful that they smother you. The Lititz House wasn't like this at all. John and Heidi, the owners, made us feel like we were visiting friends, but were very professional and competent at the same time. Not an easy trick to pull off. The rooms were cozy, with bathrooms for all. Keeping in mind this is a 100 year old house, the retrofitting is mostly seamless. A couple of the bathrooms were on the small side, but no smaller than your own house. Breakfast was excellent, and the coffee and juices are a standout. (I know that sounds silly, but they were fantastic)

I would like to preface this review with the fact that I have been in service my entire life,…read moreincluding managing a hotel myself. I currently work for American Airlines at the Charlotte Douglas Airport. The front desk agent Matt - caused me to walk away from a prepaid reservation and pay to stay at the Hilton Hershey property instead. Which was amazing, by the way! I had a reservation for 6/15, and had called the week before to reconfirm an early check in. After working my 8-9-hour shift, I drove over 7 hours straight to Hershey PA to take my elderly mother to a concert at Hershey Stadium. Once arriving at the Fairfield, Matt brusquely replied that I did not have a reservation. I explained to him that a Marriott Vacation Club Member had gifted me the room and it was registered in my name as well as theirs. He then "found it" and told me there would be no early check in although I had confirmed, and I would have to wait until after 4pm. Mind you it is 11am, and at this point I have been awake well over 24 hours and am feeling faint. He was so nasty, I took a step back to take a calming breath. He was then so rude to the next lady (in front of her children as well) that she exclaimed "is this how you treat Marriott Bonvoy Members? WOW!" I knew I was unable to reason with this individual, and I was too exhausted to escalate the issue. So, I simply left and took my business elsewhere. I called today after some thought on the matter, hoping to give grace, and it was Matt who answered the phone. He was disdainful, snide, would not provide me with the GM's name or email and disconnected the call. I called Marriott Bonvoy myself and got the information I needed. Matt is ABSOLUTELY NOT the person Guests should EVER see and interact with upon entering a Marriott property. A welcoming smile and spirit of kindness is necessary in our industry. Matt has none of these qualities. Like I relayed to Corporate, Matt is most definitely a cause of loss of revenue for this location. On a more positive note, Zira and Melisa at The Hampton Inn Hershey saved the day! Highly recommend!!!
