    Complimentary breakfast is very Good

While visiting the Lancaster area, I stayed with my 7 year old daughter, close friend and her daughter for a short overnight stay. We researched hotels high and low for an affordable last minute rate and stumbled upon reviews for this gem. We had a choice between staying on the main strip near Dutch Wonderland and the Tanger Outlets for about $50 more a night and we went with Comfort. Literally. Comfort Suites gives you the feeling of being home. A home away from home literally. The suites are designed modern, spacious and comfortable. I fell in love with this place from the details in the review. When we arrived we were pleasantly greeted and we checked into our room immediately. We were in suite 311 and our floor was very quiet. Our room was equipped with a Kuerig with Coffee and Tea K cups, a mini fridge, a living area with sofa and ottomans, plush pillows and a flat screen with adjustable wall mount. With the 2 children we definitely needed a spacious hotel room and this was just perfect for us. We took the girls down to the pool for the evening where other families were enjoying a swim as well. The pool area was clean and equipped with plush towels. The girls really enjoyed them self. There was also a patio and picnic area out back. We decided to speak to the front desk staff about referrals for pizza delivery and decided on Hot Z. We ordered a pie and wings which were excellent ! Delivery was fast and we enjoyed our meal. The next morning we awoke to a extensive complimentary breakfast spread down in the dining area. Bagels, biscuits, pastries, sausage links, Hot Tea/Coffee, juice, yogurt, fresh granola, almonds, cold/ hot cereal, fresh fruit, A pancake and Waffle station were available to us. My daughter loved the pancake/ waffle station and I really enjoyed the breakfast options here. Plentiful for what you receive with your hotel stay. Everything was perfection here and worth every dime.

While in the Lancaster area I will probably always stay here. It is extremely clean and most importantly quite. My room had a view of a huge corn field and loved every minute of it. I picked this hotel to go to Spooky Nook for the USA Women's Field Hockey Games and it was walking distance, specifically right across the street. They do not have room service but there is a pretty cool family ran food truck that came by around 5pm for a couple of hours. Breakfast was included with the hotel stay and fairly standard, but no complaints here. In the evening they bake cookies that fill the hotel air. The hotel staff was really sweet, and I felt welcome as soon as I walked in. This will be my home while in Lancaster!!

We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights because of a family wedding. The customer service is lacking in so many ways. The people at this hotel... literally tell people they must be in their rooms by 11:00pm. We were shocked that they harassed us when we were trying to sit in the common area to talk with family we had not seen in years! They actually yelled at my 67 year old mother in-law and a 80 year old friend sitting with a couple of their siblings. ( I assure you they were not partying)We couldn't sit in the breakfast room or the sofas in front of the front desk. Not only did they do that to us but to several people who were staying at the hotel. ( this includes another group of elderly people staying at the hotel) The night we came in from the wedding we walked in and the front desk told us that we needed to be quiet ( which we weren't even talking loud) They treat their guest like children. The Pool heater wasn't working, a pipe burst in the lobby leaving water everywhere. The beds were not comfortable at all. Our Ac/ heater sounded like a jet engine... no lies a jet taking off. The WiFi was so bad your phone had a hard Time connecting wherever you were in the hotel. I will tell you the young man who was in charge of the breakfast Jose was excellent. He was courteous and helpful... constantly cleaning up after everyone. The hotel was clean in general. We will not be back to this hotel our Family deserves better! ( secondly we spoke with a manager who stated that we were informed ahead of time that we couldn't use the common areas late... this was a flat out lie) when you book a hotel it includes the amenities. ( the star is in this post is for Jose not

Absolutely excellent hotel. Staff is great and friendly, the rooms are so spacious and clean and the bathroom in the room I am in has a great glassed in shower. I stay a lot of places and rarely am I so blown away as I was with this stay.

The beautiful view from our room, yes, those are sheep!

Lobby is comfortable to grab a cup of coffee and start my morning. Reading other reviews with complaints, I do disagree. I didn't find parking particularly confusing at all. It's a multipurpose facility so there are two lots - but it's not that difficult to navigate (I'm baffled by the extreme confusion people had). My fridge was a good size, and worked. All the staff we dealt with here have been so polite and friendly. To complain about no food on site? Not all hotels offer food. Many times we've been in hotels as tournament families and our start time is too early to even hit hotel breakfast when offered. I check what's available and bring stuff if needed. It's just part of being prepared. And yes, I brought what we needed here - not a big deal. Very happy to stay here again, nothing to complain about!

You don't want to be charged for a previous guest damages. There are a laundry list of things that needs to be addressed. 1. Hotel room was small. For a sports complex where families is traveling the standard queen room didn't offer a pullout couch and the beds were the size of a full size mattress. 2. The beds were hard 3. Furniture was date and worn 4. Pictures on wall missing 5. Office chair was ripped and turn to shreds. 6. Desk had splinters sticking out 7. Recliner had damage 8. Wall had damage 9. Arcades and games was not working. 10. All the courts in the back gym is horrible 11. Lego flooring that is coming apart and missing tape to keep them secure which poses a safety hazard for kids playing on those mats. 12. The courts were dirty and had not been swept the entire weekend. 13. Half of the Officials were horrible. Didn't care to control the game for safety of kids so much spectators and ref was arguing during live game and now more calls were missed. 14 . Limited food options 15. Parking was crazy. Even as a hotel guest, folks were parking in hotel side which left no parking available for staying guest 16. Only 1 sit down restaurant on site. Food was salty 17. When shared my stay with manager, no accommodations were made. I was only told, yeah we are trying to update all the rooms and they haven't reached mines yet. Also, they were aware of my room damages but you still failed to put a guest in that room after paying $245 per night after being told a hold of $50 per night for incidentals was being added. I was told a kid kicked the ball into the wall and knocked down picture a few weeks ago. 18. You need a key card to turn on the electricity and refrigerator in the room. W/o it electricity doesn't work. 19. Food in food court looked old and dry. It appeared they were not properly checking the food temperature in hot food section of the food court. 20. Tickets are sold as daily entry. No weekend passes The only good thing was being on-site of the venue. A guest stay away from home is to make them feel at home when they are away. I felt the total opposite. I would rather stay where I am comfortable than convenient. Oh PS! I asked to replace that desk chair in my room and all they did was removed that problem and swapped it in another room...smh The warehouse you all have got to do better.

We stayed in the Courtney Room which was on the second floor. It was a small room but it was perfect for us! It was right off a shared living room but lucky for us, no one was in that room! The B&B was within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown. We ended up walking to dinner and then did a mini-pub crawl! When we arrived "home" later in the evening, there were some fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting for us! We really enjoyed them and even took some up to the room for later! The next morning we woke to find coffee in the living room at 7am. The coffee from Whiff Roasters was to die for! Breakfast was served later in the dining room and it was delicious! Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend the Lititz House Bed & Breakfast!!

There's nothing that annoys me more than B&B operators who feel they have to be so nice and helpful that they smother you. The Lititz House wasn't like this at all. John and Heidi, the owners, made us feel like we were visiting friends, but were very professional and competent at the same time. Not an easy trick to pull off. The rooms were cozy, with bathrooms for all. Keeping in mind this is a 100 year old house, the retrofitting is mostly seamless. A couple of the bathrooms were on the small side, but no smaller than your own house. Breakfast was excellent, and the coffee and juices are a standout. (I know that sounds silly, but they were fantastic)

I would like to preface this review with the fact that I have been in service my entire life,…read moreincluding managing a hotel myself. I currently work for American Airlines at the Charlotte Douglas Airport. The front desk agent Matt - caused me to walk away from a prepaid reservation and pay to stay at the Hilton Hershey property instead. Which was amazing, by the way! I had a reservation for 6/15, and had called the week before to reconfirm an early check in. After working my 8-9-hour shift, I drove over 7 hours straight to Hershey PA to take my elderly mother to a concert at Hershey Stadium. Once arriving at the Fairfield, Matt brusquely replied that I did not have a reservation. I explained to him that a Marriott Vacation Club Member had gifted me the room and it was registered in my name as well as theirs. He then "found it" and told me there would be no early check in although I had confirmed, and I would have to wait until after 4pm. Mind you it is 11am, and at this point I have been awake well over 24 hours and am feeling faint. He was so nasty, I took a step back to take a calming breath. He was then so rude to the next lady (in front of her children as well) that she exclaimed "is this how you treat Marriott Bonvoy Members? WOW!" I knew I was unable to reason with this individual, and I was too exhausted to escalate the issue. So, I simply left and took my business elsewhere. I called today after some thought on the matter, hoping to give grace, and it was Matt who answered the phone. He was disdainful, snide, would not provide me with the GM's name or email and disconnected the call. I called Marriott Bonvoy myself and got the information I needed. Matt is ABSOLUTELY NOT the person Guests should EVER see and interact with upon entering a Marriott property. A welcoming smile and spirit of kindness is necessary in our industry. Matt has none of these qualities. Like I relayed to Corporate, Matt is most definitely a cause of loss of revenue for this location. On a more positive note, Zira and Melisa at The Hampton Inn Hershey saved the day! Highly recommend!!!

The property is very convenient to the PA Classics soccer park that is located directly behind the hotel. I can't really say anything bad about the hotel. It provided a solid experience. The check-in staff was friendly, but a little bit slow. They run with a bare bones staff so there were times that we waited for the front desk person to come back from "assisting another guest." The hotel was patient, understanding, and accommodating with our 13 year old boys being boys and the parents sitting by the pool enjoying some beverages. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Not the most comfortable beds or rooms, but certainly not the worst either. Everything worked as it should. The reason the hotel gets three stars instead of four is because, due to the tournament, the hotel required a two night stay and the rate was a little high. If the rate were more reasonable, the hotel would have gotten four stars.

While the location itself is convenient and the staff was generally polite this hotel is clearly in need of attention and updates. The room was very poorly lit which immediately made it feel uninviting and uncomfortable. Even during the daytime the lighting was so dim that it was difficult to see clearly without turning on every available lamp. At night it felt even worse creating a gloomy atmosphere that made the room feel smaller and older than it should have. One of the biggest disappointments was the couch in the room. It was visibly broken and sagging making it unusable for sitting or relaxing. For a hotel that advertises suites this was especially frustrating since the extra space should be functional and comfortable. Instead the furniture felt worn out and neglected as if it had been ignored for far too long. Overall the room and the property feel outdated and in need of a serious refresh. From the furniture to the lighting and general condition it seems like basic maintenance and modernization have been put on the back burner. Cleanliness was acceptable but that alone does not make up for the lack of comfort and the obvious wear and tear throughout the room. This stay was not terrible but it was far from enjoyable. With proper updates better lighting and replacement of damaged furniture this hotel could be much better. Until then it is hard to justify anything more than a two star rating.
