I'll only take time to write an excellent or poor review. So this review is for receiving EXCELLENT service from this team! I was put in an unpleasant scary situation with AAA when they supposedly signed me up for a homeowner and auto policy. Approximately couple weeks later and after they collected my premium payments, they basically told me that they would have to terminate my policy because the property value exceeded their limits! They didn't even survey my property! Then, they said the policy will terminate in about 21days! They even advised for me to cancel my policy with my previous insurance company. Basically, AAA they left me in a bad situation and now having to find another insurance company in 21days. I have never filed a claim for this 70yr old home. A friend advised me to contact their agent Lance Arakaki at StateFarm which I did on Good Friday (holiday). I explained my urgent request to obtain insurance. He was very professional, gave great advice on StateFarms requirements and the process. He emailed me exactly what he needed and kept me informed almost daily on the status of my application. He took the seriousness of my situation knowing AAA was terminating in couple weeks! Lance called me yesterday to tell me the great news that they will be able to insure my home and auto for a competitive price too! I would like to start off by saying I am a young woman that has done my research for reliability as well as pricing. By doing my research and looking into proximity I found Lance. I got my insurance set up online (which was so quick and easy). I got it all together and within two hours I got a phone call. Thank you, Lance Arakaki and Staff, for always taking care!! I initially was confused as to WHY my policy was transferred here. I didn't recall requesting a new Agent...? Anyway, come to find out my original agent passed away and this agency took over. I appreciate how dedicated State Farm was. They literally take care of my every need... honestly way better than GEICO ever did! Since Lance has taken over my policy, I called in maybe 3 times... every single time I was greeted like i was family, with a helpful voice on the other end!! Much appreciated! Feels good talk to someone local rather than some random person from a 1-800 number. Right now State Farm insures me for my Auto, Renter's and Life Insurance policies. I like that they give discounts when you have a mix of different lines of business. Especially for me being in the military. Pretty good incentives. Most of the time I was talking to Sarah each time i called. It's pretty legit to have someone i know that knows my policies . I am extremely pleased with my services I've received from my insurance agent Lance Arakaki at State Farm. I switched from Geico to this company and my rates went down $137 and that INCLUDES my home renters insurance and if you participate in the "drive safe & save" program you'll save 5% on your rates as well. Not only was the transition simple from my previous insurance company over to State Farm, but the associates were able to answer all my questions right away and didn't put me on any long holds or have me talk to an automated system majority of the time. Having immediate access to my insurance cards through the State Farm app is also a definite recommendation. I was calling State Farm and got to talk with Lance Arakaki, the agent. Within minutes, I was able to explain our return of two lease cars and he explained about our no accident policies on each of our cars including the leased ones. Since we still had two other cars that were insured, we decided to not replace the leased cars at this time. With careful explanation, Lance took the time to explain how to keep tenured no accident policies by inactivating without paying and reactivating if we got another car later. When we said we'd just like to cancel the lease policies, he suggested that we use one of our no accident policies for one of our purchased cars and cancel the others which we did. We are getting a refund of $112 along with the cancellation of two policies. I normally don't write reviews, but felt this kind of personalized service needed to be documented.
