almost 1 year ago i took my LR4 to them for back brake issues after they kept my vehicle for weeks (no loaner) they charged me over $5k i asked for a discount and they gave me a modicum of a break because they knew they absolutely scammed me i just looked in to one of my back seat storage wells clearing and cleaning my car out it's soaked & bathed in brake fluid they left the remaining bottle of brake fluid without tightening the lid. it's a brake fluid bath do not use this land-rover location! they just want your money not your loyalty read more

Our sales person Elise was helping on purchasing a preowned Range Rover we liked, over the phone We schedule to come look at the car, driving almost 1600 miles there and back including hotels and tolls, the trip cost us nearly $800..with my wife and 4 small kids. over the phone Elise told us car is in good condition, that's it's in the shop just getting detailing, cleaning etc done nothing major, because online they haven't posted any pictures of the vehicle so we we're trying to get some more info on the car, and weren't getting much information on the vehicle from Elise Brown, so we reached out to one of the general sales managers Dan Wiley, he told us on the phone that it was in shop getting dents on sides and on hood done, and told us he will snap pics of the car inside and outside. He kept saying there's no surprise, they serious business over here! Elise Brown was being so rude to us when we arrived to dealership, she said car is not ready come back at 2pm like 4x she came up and kept saying come back at 2pm, like almost making us leave the dealership like we weren't aloud to be inside. She was treating us not nice. Because we showed up with 4 kids!! Even when she was showing the vehicle outside when it was ready to look at she was quiet the whole time, like she had no interest on selling the car to us was not explaining nothing about the vehicle!! When we saw the vehicle we noticed on both sides of roof rails had what looked like huge indents that looked liked hail damage from 5 feet away you can notice it, when we asked sales Elise brown about that surprise damage they never mentioned over the phone or email she said I know nothing of it. Then we called general manager Dan Wiley the one who took pictures of the vehicle before we left the house.. he had a plain dumb face when we asked him and showed the damages on the vehicle he said I was the one taking the pictures and have not noticed or see those indents on top roof rails, like how in the world can you not see or notice those huge dents what a LiAR!! Then Dan kept blaming us like it was our fault we showed up early and everything was a rush that they didn't have time to do stuff to the vehicle!! But then again we got the you can go your car is ready for pick up and NO SURPRISE!! At the end we said no to the vehicle because the car was in horrible condition inside and outside. Not even cleaned inside!! We did write email to general principal Ryan Ambrifi and nothing from him, seems like he doesn't even care!!!Both Dan Wiley and Elise brown are liars and unprofessional I will strongly advise not to deal with this greedy dealership stay away from both of them they will do you wrong! I would never buy another Range Rover. It goes in for repairs constantly. The screens work about 50% of the time since I've owned it. They've been replaced 4 times. When they go out the ac, heat, nav, blue tooth capability with the phone etc do not work. Land rovers excuse is that there is too much technology in their cars so it's going to have issues and I would see the same problem if I went with some other new vehicles. I've had my Range Rover Velar since February 2018. It's been in the shop for a total of 6-7 months. Also their loaners are garbage. My Velar is pretty much fully loaded but they give base model discoveries most of the time when it goes in. Sometimes for a month at a time. Good looking car, but do not buy or lease. Also they charge about double anyone else's prices for brakes. read more

Beware of this place!! I hardly ever write reviews but I wanted to warn people about this dealership. I went to service my electric jaguar IPACE due to a battery fault warning. The car for 3 weeks was at the dealership and during this time I got the run around from Peter in service that they had no loaners. He knew I had a baby and needed a car! Peter said they only had 2 guys that are certified to work on these electric cars. There were no updates as to when this would be fixed, etc. There were multiple calls that were not returned. The lack of experience and service did not sit well with me. I decided to tow the car to the Jag dealership in Glen Cove NY where I bought the car from. I confirmed with Peter over the phone my car was being towed. The tow truck arrives and calls me to tell me my car is not there! I was shocked and later that day, Peter leaves me a message that the tow truck came but he didn't want the car to leave because my car door had gotten scratched by their dealership. I try to call the dealership and they are closed and I go in the next available day. I speak to Jeffrey Chacua (service manager) he tells me he was the one that drove my car to the autobody shop in Bridgeport. Jeff tells me Peter did not handle this properly and was supposed to call me the day the car was damaged, show me photos, and have me sign paperwork for my consent to bring it to their autobody shop. I never saw any photos or signed any paperwork! I demanded Jeff to bring me to the autobody shop, during the drive there he downplays the damage stating its just a scratch! He informs me he was brought into the dealership to clean up the place! Do I really need to know that! I arrive to see my car scratched from the entire front of the car to the rare. I ask Jeff how did this happen he states a service technician moved my car and hit a wall. The autobody guy has my car in pieces and tells me its $3000 in damages. Not a small scratch on a door! Jeff is not compassionate at all with my frustration about the situation. I state to him how would you like it if your car was damaged, you had no idea where it was, and it was brought to some autobody shop without your consent. He does not reply back. We arrive back at the dealership and meet Rob Singh (general manager) he informs us Peter is fired. He has us go outside and they give us a loaner car - Range Rover Velar. Funny thing that day they have 10 loaners but originally for 3 weeks none! Rob is professional with us and states he personally was going to watch over our service issue. I ask Rob why the damage was not reported to their and my insurance company and why the car was just brought to their autobody shop. Rob informs me that most people when cars get damaged at their dealership want to use their autobody and not go through insurance so it does not show up on the Carfax. Rob also informs me there are only 2 engineers (in the US) from Jaguar that have to come out to the dealership to look over my battery and give the okay to order the parts to fix the battery. He is very adamant about me keeping the car at their dealership. Why would he care if I kept the car there? I find out they get paid very well from Jaguar to fix these battery issues. I found it strange that an engineer would need to come to the dealership. I call the NY dealership and they open a case and tell me an engineer does not need to come to a dealership that it can be handled by a case and email. I tow the car to them and when they get the car Jaguar in Fairfield had deleted all the service codes they had performed. I go back to the dealership and have Jeff send the codes to the NY dealership. Jaguar/Land Rover of Fairfield service department is so unprofessional and deceitful. I would recommend anyone looking to buy a Jag to drive to the dealership in Glen Cove NY. If you need service work done find a reputable one in CT or NY. Glen Cove is very professional and returns calls and provides updates, they even drove a loaner to me! read more

I've had my car serviced here twice and both times the process went extremely smooth. The first time was to address a low oil coolant warning light and the second was the standard 10K mileage service. My car is leased and under warranty so there was no cost on my end and the service staff were very accommodating when setting up my service appointments and allowing me to reschedule. They got me in and out quickly when I ask them to because I had a meeting I couldn't miss. They will provide you with a loaner car if necessary and the small waiting area has free coffee. All and all, I've had a good experience in terms of service and can't really speak on the car buying process here. read more

Please-stay away. That is the best advice I can give any potential Land Rover owners or current owners. I purchased an LR3 from here, the salesman was great and got me into the vehicle I wanted with financing through Land Rover Financial, however-that was where the great service ended. I received a call from a man from Chase (The bank who backs LRF) who told me they screwed up all the paperwork and I had to go through the entire process again with him and give him all the info the dealership had already taken-or they would've canceled the loan. The LR3 was a nightmare of issues when I first purchased it. They claimed to have gone over the vehicle with his extensive check and repaired and replaced anything, etc. etc...well the suspension faulted within a couple months, issues with the steering/drive train, issues with the radio. Not to mention I found out after taking it to my current dealership-they never performed the 60k service before I bought it. (I got it with 60,000mi) The best part that shows this dealership doesn't care how their service is--I brought it in for a simple 30min service to have them replace a piece of wood trim on my dashboard-that 30min service turned into 3 hours of waiting in the dealership-when the vehicle finally came out I noticed they washed it, when I got inside I saw the sunroof was in the vented position and there was water all over my headliner. I suspect they knew they screwed up when they had water pouring in and probably took that extra time to try and dry out the interior without me noticing. Also, when I was there it was probably a couple of weeks after I had bought the car, and I noticed the salesman who sold me the SUV-didn't even say hello. Very rude. Needless to say, after multiple headaches from this dealership, some that I don't feel like typing out-I've switched and started bringing my vehicle to Land Rover Guilford-where the service manager is VERY nice and friendly-unlike the rude inconsiderate P**** at Milford. Go to Land Rover of Guilford-they care what you think. I will certainly never step foot into Land Rover of Milford again. read more

Can not say enough good things about my experience from the beginning phone call with David who took my trade in info over the phone at 5pm with out hesitation and no pushiness to hurry and come in, emailed me right away and was very inviting. Next day me and my husband went to the dealer and from time we walked in was greeted and acknowledged by everyone, offered help and beverages. We went in the very beginning of a new physical year and there fore the rates were extremely high for the 2018 jaguar e-paces that i went in for, so we decided to leave, and just before pulling off we got a knock at the window by the very nice sale-mans "Eric" saying they would try their best to get me what i wanted. And they did. The process was smooth although a long day (with waiting for the car to get detailed, which i really appreciated) but worth the wait. David walked us through the entire detail of the car and made sure to offer us the service of having Kat come to our home in case we had any questions. Received a call from both David and Eric 3 days later ensuring i was happy with my purchase, which i really appreciated. This was my very first brand new car and can definitely say i will be back when i am ready for an upgrade. Borderline fraudulent! We purchased our pre-owned Land Rover and warranty with a $100 deductible from this dealer. The first time we had to take the car in for service was for catastrophic engine failure after SIX MONTHS of ownership. They gave us the runaround and the car was in the shop for several months. FINALLY, after they agreed to pay and it was time to get our car back, we were told that the deductible was $200. We showed the dealer the paperwork that confirms the deductible was $100. They agreed and said they would update the system. We had the car in a 2nd time for a minor fix and once again the told made us pay a $200 deductible. This time they said they were unable to fix it and we would have to call the original dealer to correct the input error in the system. After FOUR months of going back and forth for a silly $100, they told us they won't be able to reimburse us because our warranty has now expired (expired AFTER the service but before this issue was resolved). Sounds like a SCAM!!!!!!! Stay away from these shady dealers!!! read more

I will never purchase anything from Land Rover of Fairfield! Since purchasing my car less than one year ago I have been back in for service three times due to issues with the brakes. The first issue I was told was a manufacturers defect and without any questions they replaced my rotors but forgot to bolt in the brake caliper so I had to get towed back to the dealership to be without a car for over a week. Fast forward a few months and the rotors are warped again but this time I was told by the dealership its just plain wear and tear and "I probably drove through a mud puddle after hitting the breaks too hard"....two warped rotors in less than a years time - I don't think so! Terrible, terrible, terrible service department. This is our 3rd vehicle from them and the new service department in Fairfield is horrible. Took my vehicle in to fix several items before the warranty ran out. They repaired the wrong item. Two items they couldn't "duplicate" so didn't fix. One item said it was repaired but it wasn't. Paid for a four wheel alignment but the vehicle still pulled to side. Went back was told some mumbo-jumbo about the steering is electronic and set by the factory so it couldn't be changed and was properly aligned. Still couldn't "duplicate" another item even though I gave extremely accurate description. Replaced the top of my console and damaged the silver trim going up the console to the dash. Was told by Moya the service manager that the repair tech wouldn't have gone in from the passenger side (the side with the damage) but would have climbed over the steering wheel to install the console piece. The other service manager comes out and tells me the piece was installed from the back seat. I was waiting for someone else to tell me it was installed from the tech hanging down from the sunroof. The interior had some glue-like substance all over the leather in several spots. I have nothing at my house to clean it off. Very sloppy. A car wash and a free bottle of water are cute but I'd rather just have competent, clean techs who can fix my vehicle right the first time. At this point I'd rather drive around with broken things than go back and go through this again. After nearly 40 years of driving and owning all kinds of makes of cars both luxury and not, this is definitely the worst service department ever. read more

Worst sales manager experience of my life. I ordered a car to be located and the sales rep did a great job finding the car I wanted. We had emailed back and forth over the course of the last week and agreed everything including that I was to pick up the car at 4;45 today. I was leasing the car and was going to PRE pay the three year lease up front. Two days ago I was asked to fill out a credit form. I did so and turned it in the same day. Today I showed up at the dealership and the sales manager, a British guy named Ted (?)said my credit was locked and he couldn't give me the car. I told him had I known about this prior to this very moment I could have brought my computer ( I flew in from a nearby island just to get the car ). He said even though I was PRE paying the lease he couldn't give me the car. I responded had he run the credit application two days ago we wouldn't have been in this spot. I added that I didn't think he was trying to solve the problem. He said it wasn't his fault and that he was very busy and people were on vacation and he didn't have time to run the application until just now. I offered to have him talk to my bank. He said he couldn't. My wife had her computer and so we said we could put the car in her name and open her credit file. He said because she had an out of state license he couldn't do that. I then said that he was least ambitious least prepared sales manager I had ever dealt with. He wasn't proactive, preemptive or prepared. He said it wasn't his fault he was so busy and people were on vacation. I said it wasn't my fault that he was overworked and people were on vacation. I feel bad for the sales rep Chris K. Chris K was a pro. His boss (Ted?)was a pompous unapologetic unprepared pretentious piece of work. I left and will buy/ lease a car down the road later in the week. As a business owner my customers are my top priority. When we are wrong we try and be creative and look to solve problems. We apologize and do what we can to resolve issues. This was not the case here. The utter indifference and lack of empowerment exhibited by the sales manager (Ted?) ( the British guy) was unbelievable. WOW I am so sad and greatly disappointed to have taken my Land Rover to this Car Dealer. Firstly, I had an issue with my O2 Sensors within my Land rover which had my engine light warning ("Check Engine Soon") remained constantly on. After paying closely to 160.00 dollars just to have them to check my car for this issue, I was told that my engine light is constantly on due to an issue not with my 02 Sensor but an issue due to my Vacuum sensor in my car. So I was told it will cost me nearly $600.00 for the parts and repair to have the engine light issue resolved. Upon paying this amount after the repair was completed, I drove the car off their lot leading to the highway heading home and the engine light issue reappears within 10 minutes of leaving the Land Rover of Fairfield parking lot. So I called and complain that the car was not fixed. They requested I bring the car back for further check up.. Upon returning the car to the dealership.. They held my car for over 2 days just to tell me that they will not fix the same engine light issue ("Check Engine Soon"), plus they would not return to me the money I had paid them to do the job. They truly robbed me of fixing my car for the money I paid and they continue to refuse to resolve the issue. So This car dealer is a buyers beware type of dealer agency in which they pretend to fix your car and ask you to bring it back and they illegally claim that you have to pay more money for same issue that you already paid for ("Check engine Soon") So please buyers be ware of this con game.. Unless this is only happen to me cause they think I am dumb and stupid. By the way They never return to me the parts they suppose to return upon request and I requested my old parts for proof they fix my car and they never gave me the old parts back.. Purchased a 2006 low mileage Range Rover. Dealt with Chris to purchase and he did a nice job. I took it back twice; once to fix a clogged rear washer and the second to fix a problem with the front suspension. Both under the 60 day warranty. Provided a loaner as I'm 60 miles from the dealer. Mike was professional and pleasant. There are risks when you buy a used car and I expect that I may have to put some money into it. This was, bar none, the best car buying experience I have ever had. There was no major pressure and Robert was 100% at the ready to answer any questions we had. We test drove the car on a Thursday night and was able to do most of the paperwork on Friday from the comfort of home to work out a deal. Buyer Beware, Land Rover Milford sells defective products and does not honor lemon law warranties. I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership a couple months ago. The vehicle had some hidden defects I discovered on the drive home that the dealership did not disclose to me at the time of purchase, and that were covered under their written warranty. I was not able to pass a State inspection until these items were repaired, and I also ran the risk of getting a traffic violation. Total cost of all parts and repairs came to over $700. Spoke with Ted Pawlina the so-called Sales Manager regarding these issues. He blew me off repeatedly and called me a lair and told me that I caused these problems and refused to honor the warranty and re-reimburse me for the issues. I tried to be reasonable and only requested the dealer to reimburse me for the cost of the labor which was only a couple hundred of the total.
