Felt like I've been scammed. Will not be going back or recommending. Towed my 2013 Mazda 3 here back in July because it wasn't starting. Was told it had "jumped time" and needed an entire new engine replacement or they could trash it for me. Towed it home and got a second opinion. Absolutely nothing about the engine was showing up with a diagnostic scanner and turns out only needed a sensor replaced. I literally paid less for the sensor part than what Motorworks charged me for a diagnostic fee. Car is running again without an engine replacement. I feel like this was either fraud and or incompetence. read more

These guys are the absolute best. My 2004 Avalanche broke down last week. I had it towed it, they got it looked at and discovered the problem to be a leaking fuel lines. But to access the leak they would have to remove the tank and fuel pump, run new lines, amongst other problems. Instead of doing the work, he had a talk and as much as he wanted the job, we came to the conclusion that it wasn't worth the fix. They let me park the truck on the property for over a week as I worked on finding a replacement vehicle. When I did, I brought that in. They went over it completely, did the necessary work to get it on the road, as it had been previously sitting for 6 plus month, and literally save me thousands of dollars. You would be stupid to take you vehicle anywhere else. They have a customer for life. read more

Incredibly honest, fair price, kind and knowledgeable staff. I had trouble with my vehicle "sputtering and jerking". I took it to my former mechanic 4 times for repair. The fifth time I decided I needed a new mechanic. I had heard about this shop through friends AND many recommendations after I put a shout out on Facebook. I'm so, so glad I found them!! It's nerve wracking to go to a new mechanic as a woman, even more so when your livelihood depends on transportation. I stick to dealers, but after a horrible experience on my last visit. I decide to not give them any of my business. This dealership meaning Mercedes Benz of Fairfield CT. Now getting back on this review. My 2004 ML500 was not starting over. It would just one long crank but no ignition. I called the dealership to see how much the part was they quoted $175 for a crank position sensor. Wow considering this item goes for $8-26$ online. Mind you this is excluding the labor. I got in touch with Chris at Fairfield Motor Works and he immediately quoted me $207. Wow!. To think how much money I wasted going to dealerships. Another great service they do is pick up your car from your home. Wow! Mercedes can learn a thing or two from this company. They are located in front of the Mercedes Dealership so you can't miss it. Do yourself a favor, try them out and be amazed of proper service and great pricing. read more
