Best customer service in town! Everyone was wearing a mask and practiced social distancing. John and Dave went out of their way to help me out. I dropped my car off and a staff member gave me a ride home. A few minutes later I received a call letting me know exactly what my car needs to keep me safe on the road, and also options for future services. My back tires were bald and could have popped at any time, John rushed the order for my back tires so I can have my car at a timely manner. I was moving my son out of Fairfield University and my sons car was sounding really bad and I was worried he was not going to make it home. I stopped at Fairfield Automotive Service and they treated me like I was a longtime customer. They dropped everything and took my car for a ride and then even put the car up to confirm the problem. They explained what was needed to permanently fix the car but gave me a temporary solution that enabled us to get home. Both Dave and John couldn't be nicer. These guys are amazing ! I thought people like this ceased to exist. I was wrong ! I called them last minute to inspect a car I was about to purchase down the street. Despite the busy holiday season, they let me bring the car straight over with no wait. John spent about 30 minutes test driving the car and inspecting it. Didn't even want a penny for the effort. I am a big fan of Fairfield Automotive. After getting an estimate for work on my BMW in Manhattan that was outrageous, I drove to Fairfield Automotive based on friend's prior positive experiences to have my car looked over for an estimate of work needed. One part I was told in NY needed replacement was in perfect repair, and the other work that was needed was done the same day for a fraction of my original estimate. It took less than 30 minutes for them to patch it and change it (and they were kind enough to do it for free). It made a bad start to the day much better!
