We always go to the Land Run Grill when we want comfort food. It has a nice selection of menu items so everyone can get what they want. It also has good Mexican food. The interior is decorated nicely with a lot of booths, and has a separate bar area. We've never had to wait for service. We like to take the grandchildren because kids meals are free on Sundays. read more

What an interesting place to have lunch. On the last leg of a business trip we decided to stop here for lunch. Since it was a nice day we opted to sit out on the patio. We started out with appetizers and we chose the Gator & Taters along with the Quail Poppers. The Gator & Taters were tasty however, none of us enjoyed the Taters. It seemed like they had the potential to be good but just lacked good flavor. The Gator on the other hand was very delicious along with the Remoulade sauce. If I were to try again I would see about just ordering the Gator bites. The Quail Poppers were interesting but I doubt I would choose them again. We took our time reviewing the menu because they were done great options to choose from. Ultimately I decided on the Ahi Tuna sandwich on Sourdough Bread. In my opinion I would have opted for the bread to be toasted longer and have a side order of the Sriracha Aioli. At the end I ditched the bread on the second half of the sandwich. Overall great selection on the sandwich. This did come with a side order of bottomless hand cut fries. There were plenty of fries to begin with so if they were bottomless I'm not sure I could have ordered any more since I barely made it through the first order. One of my friends chose the Call of the Wild, which was a Rainbow Trout paired with a Smoked Butterflied Quail! He shared half the Quail week me to taste which was very good. My other friend picked the Waygu Burger, which he enjoyed but not so sure he would order again. Overall this was a great visit and I'll be sure to come back and try more off the menu! read more

Steak fingers used to be good. Now they taste like steak blended in a blender and lightly formed into a finger. The consistency doesn't taste like steak and isn't much different than the breading. I mean literally, when biting into it it was hard to know when you reached the steak part. Will never order again unless they change their supplier. Steak fingers are why my wife and I frequented this place in the past. That all said, the service, cleanliness, and atmosphere are all rated highly. read more

We tried this place on Super Bowl Sunday evening before checking into our hotel. I LOVE the decor! Our server was a a lovely young man who was funny and helpful. We both ordered the pulled pork tacos. Unfortunately we both felt they were very dry. Perhaps the meat could be soaked in some meat juice or some kind of sauce. The accompanying salsa didn't actually help and serving was too small for 3 tacos. Take this as constructive to improve that one item because otherwise this is a great place! read more

If you want good food, with a large selection, that is reasonably priced, then Land Run Grill is an excellent option. Is it fancy - no. But it has a welcoming and a really decent sports bar ambiance. Service the last three times we've gone there has been attentive and really very good. And prices are very good - not outrageous and portions are excellent. Give it a try! I ordered chicken fried steak, okra and a salad through Grub hub, so unfortunately, when I opened my box and found an overcooked steak that looks (and tastes) like it was cooked in dirty oil, I could not send it back. The meat is very tough, even where it's not burnt. The okra was even not very good - I spat out several pieces for being hard and stringy. Even Chicken Express has better okra? I do not recommend this dish and since it is likely the only dish I'll ever have from here, I can't recommend the restaurant either. If you are looking for a good chicken fried steak in that area, just go to Cheddar's. That was what I was craving to begin with, but alas, no delivery options. The food was so mid (dont get the mac and cheese). The service was horrible. About three employees watched us wait at the host stand until someone came and sat us and just tossed the menus on the table. We waited around for 20 minutes for our check when we were all clearly done. I had to go find someone to bring us our check. The guy who ran our food out spilt sauce all over our table and then when he cleaned it up reached all over our food. He also almost spilt my brothers food while setting it down, and he didnt even really apologized for any of it. Our server disappeared after taking our order. It is s so over priced. read more

Great moist fish (I think tilapia), interesting addition of tartar sauce but it paired nicely with the mild heat from the seasoning on the fish and the tomatos and queso fresco. Priced right for the portion provided. Wife had steak tacos. The meat was well seasoned but nothing else on the taco contributed flavor. Disappointing but not as disappointing as their over-priced sides. Ordered refried beans - got 1/3 of a can of Old El Paso refried beans that had been nuked to dryness and they had the nerve to charge $3.75 for it. Land Run smokes their own meats In house and I highly recommend the Mac and cheese with brisket! Every seat in the house has a great view of whatever game happens to be on that day. So, food here is pretty good. Nice and clean restaurant. Been here a total of 4 times at 8:00-8:30. However, tonight we got our food and as we waited for the waitress to come back to get more fries, we had two in our group ask and was told that the kitchen closed at 9:30 (and it was 9:24) and couldn't do anymore orders of their bottomless fries. But she may had 2 left....as we saw another worker telling her no more slashing at her throat. I had the chicken tender plate and had a few sweet potato fries left that my husband was munching on and the waitress begging to stack ranch cups on my plate and took my plate. I said excuse me we are eating those still. So what should have happens was this.....waitress should have said hey guys the kitchen will be closing at 9:30 can I get anyone another order of fries? Potential neighborhood bar seems to me. The decor and layout of the land run is different with a large wall separating the dinning area from the bar area. The bar is huge to say the least. Sat at the bar for a few beers and lunch. Had the homemade guacamole and chips with the 46, a steak sandwich. Both very good. You can get endless fries with the sandwich. The bartender was attentive but not bothersome. After a couple of beers I wanted something lighter and she suggested a mixed beer and it was very light and refreshing. Outdoor seating area that will be in the shade during the evening. You could tell with the lunch crowd that the land run has a lot of regulars. The music mix was the best I've heard in a while. I heard Janis Joplin and Red while there. I see this as a drink and appetizer or lunch place for me. Menu is huge with broad selections. You'll find something you like. Give it a try. read more

We went to bingo Tuesday night, and the experience was mixed. On one hand our server was great and the food was great. The problem is management. After being told a few weeks back that we could not reserve tables in the bar area, we walk in last night to see that half of the bar was "Reserved" starting at 4pm. So, even though we show up for bingo nearly 2 hours early, we get the worst table in the place. Next we ask about the advertised drink specials, spooky Jell-O shots. We were told someone forgot to make them! Several other similar issues having to do with management. Just really frustrated as we've been there every week for bingo over the last six months. read more
