I remind you, that I did not buy the equipment or have the install done by Tower Heating and Air, as I live about an hour away, but Reggie still took the time out of his incredibly busy morning to help me out. It is hard to find customer service like this these days, but Tower Heating & Air provides just that. They have gained a customer in me moving forward, as I will be contacting them about a new water heater in the very near future. So we needed help and have met and been helped by Chris, John and recently Rico. These guys are great! Additionally, Trish in the office is customer centered and has been extremely helpful in coordinating the service guys schedules with our mostly emergency needs, especially in this summer heat. Worth noting, these guys are a small company and they can be stretched with responding, so be patient but know they are good people. Highly recommend.

I've had multiple experiences with this company over the last 4+ years. It started off well, until…read morethe problems started adding up. A whole new HVAC unit was installed in my attic by this company, they stepped off the rafters and put a hole in my ceiling. Okay, no big deal, but they fought us and tried to blame us for the hole. They ended up fixing it- thanks. Issue after issue with this NEW system. Replaced the mother board, flushed the system multiple times ($$$!!!) and nothing fixed it. Got a new company out- and they quickly assessed the problem- the thermostat wasn't talking to the system, so a $200 fix and the system is working. Next issue a bit later, the system stops working again. Come to find out there was never a secondary drain shut off installed, a new drip pan was not installed, it was caulked where there were cracks!! So as it filled with water, water leaked down two stories to the main floor and we have water issues on the main floor. They also didnt install the only PVC drain properly. They propped it up so it was higher than the lowest point so water would never drain out of it anyways. ABS has royally screwed us over. I will never work with them again. I highly recommend you think twice before you do, as well.

This summer the unit broke down and we were out of air conditioner in 90 degrees weather for 2 weeks. We had to move out during this time due to the extreme heat. Now this month it's broken down again and we don't have any air conditioning or heat for the last 5 days. We made the mistake of buying a service contract with Adam which is worthless. They also wear shoe covers which is a nice extra. I called them for what an inspector thought was a broken baffle. Once they cleaned all the lint out, Ivory told me that the baffle was not broken. Was assured it would...he did not offer to clean up the mess. Was the job satisfactory? Who knows - He flew through the cleaning and managed to totally miss one vent. The other company's estimate came back a little high, so when my friend told me about Triangle Repair Group, I decided to check them out. And I'm so glad I did! I used their website to request an appointment, and their customer service representative, Alex, called me soon after to schedule a technician to see what was going on. The tech, Paul, quickly identified that the issue with my 2.5-ton Rheem package unit was a leaking evaporator coil. He showed me the problem (you could hear it audibly hissing!) and asked if he could follow up that afternoon with a quote to replace the coil. Paul was friendly and helpful and explained things at an appropriate pace. Alex sent me a quote later that day. I was surprised when the cost came back significantly lower than the other company: turns out the part was covered under warranty! I was pretty happy they found that out. Since I had to go out of town, and the HVAC was located entirely outside the house, I asked if I could schedule the repair for while I was gone. Sure enough, Paul was able to get the job done a couple days later. I came back to a comfortably cooled house. Because I'm "that guy," I decided to open up the HVAC to check out Paul's work. A+, super workmanship, clean job! I think and hope we'll be able to get many more years out of this system. I was very pleased with TRG, Paul, and Alex, and I look forward to using them again when I need repairs or a new system... though, obviously, I hope I don't need either anytime soon.
