There was more than enough room to either move the bed properly, ask if a ladder was available, or simply arrive with the correct equipment in the first place. Using a customer's bed as a tool was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. As for the restroom situation, there is proof of your technician entering and exiting the restroom, and immediately afterward urine was left on the toilet seat and bathroom floor. That mess was not there beforehand. Calling it an "allegation" instead of addressing the concern respectfully is disappointing. I shared my honest experience as a customer. Professionalism is not just about completing a job it's also about respecting someone's home, cleanliness, and basic courtesy while inside it.

When my grandma was doing laundry drying clothes, my grandpa noticed that hot air wasn't coming out of the vent so he grabbed his ladder and flashlight and looked in the vent. That's when he saw the vent was blocked by the brush the employee left in there. Needless to say , one and done, never again are we going to use this company for any cleaning on our house.

So he basically disappeared on day of appt and made me stranded without a single headsup. My home depot was already shipped and waited him to pick up. After email, txt and even facebook message, he finally said he would need to cancel, 1 hour before original appointment time. If you like to get cancelled last minute, go ahead and hire him.

I reached out months ago on the recommendation of a co-worker. I asked about solar cleaning and gutters. Their quote was very reasonable, especially given that it is a second story home with gutters that had NEVER been cleaned in the last decade at least. And same for the solar. A family emergency came up and I didn't move forward at that time. Fast forward 4 or 5 months and I reached out again. He responded right away and confirmed the details, honored the original quote (which impressed me as costs EVERYWHERE have gone up), and was able to schedule for a very convenient time without any difficulty. He also asked if there were any other services I was needing, which is when I discovered they do window cleaning, window and door screens and dryer vent cleaning as well! I did ask for them to quote me for a sliding screen door replacement, which was another great value, given the upgrades for the heavy duty screening and preferred color. And then the crew showed up...right on time, ready to go, and absolutely delightful people, every single one! It was a crew of 4. They got to work immediately and were thorough, cautious and hard-working. While they were working, I asked the crew leader about a quote for two window screens. Such a good deal that I said yes and they cleaned and rescreened as well as installed them on site as the other work was being done! And they did the final measurements for the sliding door to be made. They also asked if I wanted them to check the dryer vent and did so with no obligation for cleaning. I am sure I have literally never had the dryer vent cleaned in the almost 20 years I have lived here. So it was SOOOOOOOO full and needing to be cleaned badly. With another very reasonable price, I had them go for it! And it was done in no time at all. They did ALL this work (20 solar panels cleaned, gutters that literally had whole plants growing out of them completely cleaned and flushed, 2 windows re-screened, new door measurements taken and dryer vent cleaned), with the kindest, most non-judgemental, professional attitude. And they did it in UNDER 2 HOURS as a team! If you have a chance to use them, I would highly encourage you to. They truly care about their customers and about doing the absolute best job they can, and they make it affordable, too!

Yesterday it was for window washing (1st time) and power washing (2nd time). Fast and good work as always! Donnie always gives me a fair price and was willing to work with me when bundling services. No, he's not the cheapest, but 1) you get what you pay for, and 2) he gets it done ASAP--I called another company before just for a comparison quote, and they said it would be two weeks before they could do it--Five Star came in under two days! I would deduct a quarter star only because they forgot to mention they accidentally broke one of the outer window trims on a garage window --it was very brittle from facing the dry afternoon sun for 20 years, so I completely understand; just wish they had mentioned it. I added that quarter star back because upon arrival, Jerry the foreman pointed out that one of the front screens was busted from age/sun and offered to replace it for a great price--important when selling a house! For many years, I have used Five Star for gutter cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, screen replacement, outdoor window cleaning and power washing--and they're just as good as ever. Thanks!

The owner of that business recommended Sunlight Electrical to fix my system. I spoke with Carlos at Sunlight. He sent out Isaac who seemed very capable. Isaac's assessment was that my system had multiple wiring issues and recommended a service that would require a larger team to complete. He explained why, and I concurred with Isaac's recommendation. Carlos scheduled a larger team to come out the next week. They were led by Jesus, who also seemed quite knowledgeable. Jesus and his team worked diligently for 4 hours. They found more wiring errors as Isaac has predicted. And they found a damaged Tesla MC2 unit on the roof which had cracked. After they completed their repairs, the system started operating better than it ever had before. I estimate that I am now getting an extra 10-15% more power from the solar panels. In addition to providing capable technicians, I really appreciate that Sunlight is so easy to work with. I asked several highly technical questions and always got thoughtful answers. If you want something done a specific way, just ask them. They have such a positive, customer oriented attitude that makes them a pleasure to deal with.

I spoke with many contractors, and almost all of them sent salespeople who gave generic answers or tried to push cookie-cutter solutions that clearly didn't fit my setup. Carlos was completely different. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he wasn't a salesperson -- he's an engineer, and it shows. He took the time to deeply understand my system, reviewed actual spec sheets on the spot, and immediately identified issues that other contractors completely missed. Multiple companies told me Hyundai panels would work fine. Carlos checked the amperage limits, applied proper safety margin calculations, and clearly explained why those panels would not work with my EcoFlow system -- saving me from a costly mistake. He also walked me through: Proper panel selection within voltage and amperage limits Safe string configurations and series wiring How to maximize roof space while staying within code Permitting requirements I hadn't been told about before On top of that, Carlos identified critical code and safety requirements that no one else mentioned: Bollards required in the garage to protect battery units Correct battery placement to maintain required clearance from doors and entrances Heat detector requirements for battery installations in a garage These are all things that would have caused inspection failures later -- and Carlos caught them immediately. Carlos was able to turn around a detailed quote very quickly, and when I received it, I was honestly surprised -- it was a significant amount lower than every other quote I received, even though his evaluation was by far the most thorough. I was looking to replace all the carpet flooring in my newly built home with LVP and found Mario…read morehere on Yelp right away. I decided to give him a try--and I'm glad I did. Mario's knowledge and understanding of flooring is top-notch. My home already had 6mm LVP on most of the first floor, but when we removed the carpet in one of the first-floor bedrooms, I did a calcium chloride test and found the concrete moisture level was much higher than I was comfortable with. After doing some research and discussing options with Mario, we decided to apply Bostik coat to seal the moisture. That made a huge difference. We also added a proper moisture barrier on top, which gave me peace of mind. Given the moisture level in the concrete, I ended up removing the original 6mm flooring too. That turned out to be the right call--when we pulled it up, we discovered the old moisture barrier sheets weren't taped properly, just laid side by side. So we redid the whole floor with Bostik + taped moisture barrier + 8mm LVP. Mario managed to reuse most of the baseboards--only one room needed new ones. While the project ended up a bit more expensive than originally planned, the results look great and I feel confident that the floor will hold up long-term. Mario is super friendly, honest, and goes out of his way to help. Highly recommend him if you're considering flooring work!

We met the Landeros family when after some showers we discovered a good size leak on our roof from the December storm. The rain was coming back in February and we were concerned - they came the next day and immediately fixed the leak - they took pictures before and after the job. No more leak after that. Great job! They came back last week in March to do some scheduled maintenance work. Again they took pics before and after the job. Can't praise them enough - excellent job, excellent pictures of the work, excellent record keeping and excellent contract paperwork along with copies of the pictures. Had some roof tiles fall off and break. Called 3 local roofing companies: 1 said they were too busy (at least they responded), another came out and said the job was too difficult (!), and then there was Steven and Julie. They were able to fit me into their schedule within a couple of days, came out and replaced the tiles and were done in 30 minutes. They also found and resolved some other problems with the roof at no charge. Refreshing to see contractors respond quickly, perform quality work, and at a price which is reasonable (not the typical charge what you can get). Based on my experience I would say that Landeros Roofing Solutions is exceptional! Steven and Julie is a good team I called for a broken roof tile and slipped roof tile work. Steven made an inspection on my 2nd story roof and found a rotted underlayment showing exposed roof deck and one failed pipe vent. The other was at the back where the the downspout and elbow connector had fallen off. Both were on the second story, so I needed an expert to work on them. I made contact through text and sent pictures and was able to set up an appointment quickly. The owner, Mark Gibson arrived promptly, quickly assessed the work and suggested the gutters also be cleaned. I agreed and he addressed all the issues. Mark was also able to remove a dangling support bracket and leftover unused wiring to clean up these longstanding problem! I highly recommend Gibson Gutters for your gutter needs.

Starting with pricing was very reasonable, high-quality materials used, Cesar answered all of my questions on time and I was put at ease with his answers. Cesar's team showed up on time each day and finished installing the new roof early and got the permit signed off all in the span of 1.5 weeks and could have done sooner if it wasn't for a couple days of rain. They cleaned up after each day as if no work was being done at the property. I was delightfully happy with the overall process and final roof appearance, even the inspector mentioned the roof was well done by the contractor (Lozano's Roofing). Stay Away!!! I can't give less than 1 star or I would!…read more David is quite charming, don't be fooled, his work is suspect. He did my roof in April 2026 and failed to protect the roof adequately during a rainstorm and I sustained nearly $200,000 of damage to the interior of my home. Fortunately, my insurance is paying, but I will be unable to live in my home for 4-6 months. When he finished the roof, I was concerned about the quality of the roof work, so I hired another roofer to inspect Golden Top's work. The new roofer reported about 10 items that were incorrectly done or below industry standard. Armed with this report, I was able to get Golden Top to fix the items. If I hadn't gotten a new roofer to inspect and report, I never would have known how poor the work was. The worst of these was that Golden Top they had roofing nails penetrating through the exterior eaves all around the perimeter of my home. This is a major source of potential moisture damage. David agreed that is was not up to Industry Standards and agreed to repair it and he did. But he did a crappy job, and when I told him I was not satisfied, his comment to me was, "well, we are not painters. If you want to hire a painter to fix it, you can, but I am not paying for it." See photo of my finished eaves below - crappy paint job and left bare unpainted wood. All this and the roof and gutters with guards cost me over $90,000!!!!! You have been warned.

This review is for people who, like me, didn't understand the importance of proper drainage as it…read morerelates to roofing. I met Gilbert and his great crew when they were replacing the neighbor's roof. I asked him if he could inspect our roof for any issues, and he readily agreed. He sent me pictures of some very minor issues and said he would fix them. I asked him how much it would cost and he said, "just send something in for the guys." So I did. Fast forward a few months when I noticed some sagging in our kitchen ceiling as well as serious dry rot on our small light well roof. I called Gilbert and he came out to do an estimate. With respect to the flat roof at the back of our house, he gave me a choice of fixing vs. replacing. A fix would have saved us thousands of dollars. Given that the flat roof was 22 years old, I went with replacing. As for scheduling, Gilbert was extremely accommodating. He actually postponed a job so that he could fit our project in between out of town travel to tend to elderly family members. I very much appreciated that. As home improvement projects usually go, we had a surprise when it came to our small light well roof. When Gilbert's crew removed the existing roof, they discovered that there was another layer of roofing that needed to be removed. Gilbert handled the surprise at what I thought was a reasonable cost. When our light well roof was done in 2003 as part of a major remodel, it was done to code at the time, which required three separate drains. A center drain, as well as a drain on each side, which was what the left and right downspouts were connected to. I now know from the plumber who did the original work that the drainage was done this way so that ALL the rainwater from the south side of our house drained to three different places, rather than one. If it went to one drain, and that drain were to clog or fail, that could lead to a very expensive disaster. When Gilbert inspected the light well roof for the estimate, he was rather perplexed as to why the left and right downspouts each had their own drain. From a roofing perspective, that didn't seem efficient. So Gilbert decided to make the left and right downspouts go to the center drain. He also attached a reducer to the center drain, meaning the top of the drain started at three inches, but attached to a two inch pipe in the crawlspace. Gilbert told me now that the left and right downspout drains were "cancelled", I could get a plumber to remove them from the crawlspace. When I called our plumber and explained what Gilbert had done and what told me to do with respect to the "cancelled" drains, he came over right away. He explained that the light well roof drainage was done to code at the time, as well as the reason rainwater from the south side of the house should not go into a single two inch drainage pipe. He got to work removing the cast iron drainage pipes from the crawlspace and a bedroom closet, removing the reducer, and switching back to three inch drain pipes. He said the fix wasn't ideal, but that it would work. Gilbert may know roofing, but he is not a licensed plumber. Unfortunately, his desire for roofing efficiency cost us almost $1300 in plumbing fixes, and a to-be-determined amount to replace drywall from the "cancelled" left downspout drain that routed through a bedroom closet. Our new roofing hasn't been put to the test of heavy rainfall. We are keeping our fingers crossed that everything will hold up.

I do not recommend Gilbert and his company. I had high hopes based on the high Yelp reviews by…read moreothers but no. I contacted his office to make an appointment y based on his request to do so in his response to my Yelp inquiry. Making those Yelp inquiries is time consuming. You get a lot of calls to filter through and lots of discussions and responses back and forth. Anyway I talked to 3 companies and set up appointments. Each call takes time because they ask you a bunch of questions, etc. I spoke with the company and set up an appointment for Monday 3/4/24 at 2pm for an estimate. They said it would be between 1pm and 2pm arrival. I told them I had to leave shortly after 2pm and they said no problem. Gilbert's original response said that date too. I waited until 2:15pm and then called to ask if Gilbert was on his way. He said he was running late and was just leaving Stockton. Not impressed. He said do I want to reschedule? I said yes, anytime Thursday or Friday. He said uhhhhhh how about next week? That's when I said forget it. If you're running late you really should have let me know in the first place. I would not trust future obligations would be met on a timely basis based on this experience. I'll go with one of the other companies.
