I had to take a couple days to fully soak in what i had experienced at the landing zone. firstly the music was so inappropriate they played a song about barking and meowing no offense but that was highly inappropriate. i really wanted to play some darts with my gal pals but there was a tournament at EVERY SINGLE MACHINE. they did not leave until i did which was very frustrating. I wish they had at least left one or two open so others could play without being a part of the tournament. I did order some food which did take a little longer than i wanted but it was pretty busy so i give them some grace on that. the steak quesadilla was exquisite might i add. I played a round of pool with my gals and the tables were very close together I was scared i was going to get a pole up my bum-bum from the surrounding tables. now the bathrooms were the scariest part i couldnt even use them and i had four lemon drops (almost had an accident on the way home). now the scary part. the bathroom looked like it had never been mopped, the toilet seats were stained with i could only assume throw up, and the door stayed open never closed. Honestly, there has never been anything about this place that is overwhelmingly great. It's your typical smokey dive bar. It has decent drink prices, a dance floor and pretty good food. Our server and the bartenders were great. Will this be my first choice of places to go hang out on a Friday night? No. But will I go there again and have a good time. For sure. read more

Okay so this is more of a go and hang out place but they totally do to-go orders which is what I got. I'll start with ... if you're gonna go hang out - it looked fun. Huge place ... pool tables, large bar, darts, TVs... Super laid back divey vibe. Was decently busy at 9pm on a Sunday. Must be packed on the weekends. I maybe shouldn't have given them 5 stars but I'm blaming the one issue they had on the fact that I don't doubt they had a crazy weekend... and I was ordering dinner at 9pm on a Sunday. Probably the worst time for any restaurant to have their full menu available. So I chose not to hold that against them. I wanted to get their garlic Parmesan tenders because they looked so good in a picture I saw so I will definitely be back. They were out of the sauce for that and a few other things - but that just makes me think it must be as good as it looks. Out of a few other things but got the chicken cheesesteak. It was $12 after tax, etc It's huggeeee. And FULL of super yummy grilled chicken. Really like the flavor. Ridiculously good. I've never had a chicken cheesesteak before. I didn't know if it was gonna be shaved like beef or what but this is big chunks of grilled chicken... I got mine with no veggies because im weird so it just has cheese on top and almost reminds me of fajitas. It's probably one of the healthier bar food choices considering it's not fried, its chicken... and honestly im mostly eating it with a fork... Although as I dig down this read it's on is buttered and grilled and awesome. So yeah chicken cheesesteak is good. I asked for extra crispy tots. Yes I know a 5 star at a bar/club. This is why... the employees are friendly, professional and always have a smile. I can walk up to any of them and get a laugh or help with anything I ask. The pool tables are cleans and the house sticks aren't that bad. Meaning lots of places have horrible Cues. It was clean, no left over glasses or trash on the floor. Bathroom was mostly clean other than what TP someone had left on the floor. This evening they had a band. I thought it was a DJ until after a few songs, that's how good they were. I wish I knew his name but there is one bartender who came to our table 3 times to make sure we were ok. I think he was a bartender... he was a nice looking man, easy on the eyes which made it even better. lol. Over all loved the visit and will return again to beat my son at a game of pool. & enjoy the eye candy ... lol read more

I wanted to try their steaks after seeing the many reviews online, especially after hearing this is nightbar with live music. We came early to savor our experience, without having the bar experience. Our waiter said steaks hands down was the best of he menu and would even buy it back if we didn't like it. My wife had the NY steak and I had the ribeye at a cost $20 with baked potato and salad. Great price. Salads large portions, neatly dressed with your favorite dressing. Now to the steaks....thick, tender-juicy, marinated, well-seasoned, cooked perfectly; no steak sauce needed. Highly impressed. Bake potato were soft, medium sized and skin was cleaned...yippie. Our waiter (Dusty) was far more than impressive...on spot, quick, well aware of our needs, refills will still attending to the many other patrons. This is the first time I've seen a waiter refill beer buckets with ice; ever. Rest assured your drinks won't go empty. He keeps them coming. This place has 6 pool tables, 5 dart boards, large dance floor with live music, big bar seating and seating throughout. This place is a smoking establishment but seems well ventilated, the place has friendly patrons and staff. I would highly recommend their steaks and food along with their drinks. read more

OK... potentially awesome place, and maybe it was at one point. It was packed, for sure, but the types of individuals in there were kind of questionable. Big dance floor, decent DJ (until the band went on), and pretty quick service. Friendly staff, as well. Even the door guy was friendlyish. Downfall... It's been a few days since I've been to the Landing Zone and I still can't breathe. The thick amount of cigarette smoke in there - there could NOT have been proper ventilation. I have a tiny slight allergy to a ton of cigarette smoke, so I will try not to return. When I was told that Booger Red's down the road was even more smoky, I'm wondering wtf is going on in Midwest City that health officials don't make sure these ventilation systems are working?! There's no way MWC would ever go smoke-free, as it seems like 75% of the city smokes...but there's ways to make bars bearable for those who make the choice not to smoke. Friend said it was just a good ribeye, the kind your grandparents probably had at places like Glenn's Hickory Inn and such. So I tried it. Ok, first of all, if you are sensitive to smoke, you may want to shy away. But to be honest, its not more smoke than your average Indian casino. Just remember to wear your casual clothes that you launder on a regular basis. Second obs, well, they are a bar, so expect bar drink service. They don't have fountain coke drinks as they don't operate a wonder-bar unit. So soft drinks are by can and are $1.50 cash paid on site. If you do want to run a tab, they will go ahead and take the credit card and put it away. That always scares me so I just take a pile of cash with lots of $1's and quarters to buy the canned sodas. But with all that, you may think I'm trying to scare you from this place. Well don't let me do that. The steak was famdamtasticfabulous! Juicy, smokey, and big. $23 for the Wednesday special. The salad was just ok and I don't recommend the blue cheese. But definitely worth further visits. read more

Okay first of all I have to say the food is amazing!!!!!! The portions are huge, my husband and I both take home leftovers almost everytime. Wednesday they have Steak Night, by far the best around. We drive over 2 hrs just for the food. They also have great pool tables that are very well taken care of. The staff is great and so are the drinks.
