Good place for a burger. Been coming here for years. The daytime Manager has always been so nice. We went about 8 pm tonight and it was pretty quiet. We Ordered our regular Theta Burgers and sweet potato fries. Both very good. Daughter ordered Parmesan fries but not to good this time. Had weird taste, more wet with grease or something. See didn't eat them. An older man did come check on us but we didn't think to tell him. We've had them before, so not sure if grease old or fries re cooked. Also sweet tea was not good. My onion smash burger came out with two perfectly seasoned patties, sweet grilled onions, and then I topped it off with some cooked jalapeños for good measure. You order at the front counter and then take your order number and place it on your table and they will bring out your food once it's ready. My husband had the Double Bacon Cheeseburger with Sweet Potato Fries and I had the Avocado Chicken Salad. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere is fun and casual, there's a full bar that stayed busy both times we were there. Mannnnn it tasted like high quality beef, but the waiter reassured me it was Turkey! I was on a burger kick so I sought out this place from my hotel. I had heard good things from a few people that day about this place and I had all intentions of devouring a burger. When you walk in you get this Americana feel, largely in part from the decor. Think TGIFridays, but on a more toned down level. Some great focal points that are great for conversation starters. With the high ceiling in here, you have a feel that you are in a garage. I like how this is set up as well. I like that you order your food first and then take a seat. To me that feels like it's more organized and in my head I am going to get my food faster. Ordering here can be a difficult thing. One can only hope that you have someone in front of you so you can make and actual decision before you approach the counter. I had looked and looked and ended up going with a safe choice. Cheeseburger it'll be, and of course fries...why not make those the garlic Parmesan fries, yes, we will. One other thing, you can do your tipping now and not have to worry when you finish your meal (not always a good thing, but it was convenient). Once your order is complete and cup in hand, you make your way towards the seating area. Stop at the fountain and fill up your glass first. Once you find a table don't forget to put your number stake in the paper towel holder...how else are they going to know where to bring your food? The pickles weren't overpowering at all. The toasting of the bun was perfect. I can definitely say that my burger craving was put at bay after shoving that in my face. And let's talk about the fries. AMAZING! Nothing better than fresh cut fries to accompany an amazing burger. The garlic Parmesan topping really put these over the top. When you think that, you think it's only going to be the garlic powder, but not here. Minced garlic is used, making for a heartier experience.
