We have a newer four-story townhome that needed a complete refresh--ceilings, trim, walls, and even some drywall repairs--and they handled everything with professionalism and care. Lucio was prompt in coming out for an estimate, and he helped us select the right materials without over-purchasing. We ended up with just enough leftover paint for future touch-ups--no waste, which we really appreciated. His crew took great care to seal and cover every inch of the house before starting. The prep work was meticulous: sanding, patching, and smoothing every surface to perfection. The final result is flawless, and clean-up was minimal--just a light dusting left behind. They completed the entire project in just 4 days, which is impressive for a house of this size. Communication was excellent the whole way through, and the pricing was extremely competitive. The additional discount Lucio provided on high-end Sherwin-Williams paint was a huge bonus. We'll absolutely be calling Lucio and his team again for any future projects. He was supposed to have a crew working but it was only him. He would show up at 10:30 or 11:00am and only work until 2:30 or 3:00 and take an hour lunch. This has taken over 6 weeks and the work is still not done right. The mudding and sanding looks terrible and no amount of paint will cover this up. Michael will ask for final payment before work is finished. Unfortunately we paid him so we've learned the hard way. I have plenty of pictures to show how bad this work is.

Atlanta Painting Company (APC) was hired by our GC to paint our new 6,500 SF $3M primary residence…read more This was literally the worst painting experience of my career and I've developed several billion dollars of residential real estate across the country. APC lacks details and follow-through and lacks the manpower and supervision to complete a quality paint job. They do horrible prep work, which is literally half the battle when it comes to painting. Poor prep work will 100% of the time result in poor paint work. What was originally supposed to be a 30-day paint job turned into a 120-day nightmare where two supervisors were replaced and the third guy couldn't finish the job either so APC pulled offsite and presumably crossed their fingers I would not sue them. APC did such a terrible job on the first round of paint that a new supervisor inspected the work (Alejandro) and was so embarrassed at the quality (or lack thereof) that he brought in a new crew to fix the issues. The second crew was just as bad as the first so they brought in a third crew and a new supervisor (Brent). The third crew did a better job but was unable to resolve dozens of items around the house that literally any other painter could've resolved. I've asked Wes and Chris - the two owners - to complete the job but they refuse. They also are not responding to warranty issues. Our GC builds multimillion dollar homes all over Atlanta and he says APC is by far the worst painter he has ever used. I agree. I don't trust ANY of the 5 star reviews I've read about APC. There's no way 100% of their customers are 100% satisfied with their work. It's terrible quality and they are extremely difficult to work with.

Oscar simply told me that it was not possible to change the order. Not sure what you heard on your end, but that's the truth. I would have been open to that. Also, the door I received is not custom, it is a standard size, only the framework around the door is "custom" as is ANY door frame. Here is the language from my contract: "Re-frame the opening to accept a door: 5/0 x 6/8" And from Google: Yes, a 5/0 x 6/8 (60 inches wide by 80 inches tall) is a standard size for Neuma's sliding doors. Neuma offers this specific size as part of its standard offerings, particularly for its Bypass Gliding Doors." So actually, switching my order to French doors would have simply involved extra paperwork. Update: I am lowering my review to one star because Exovations refuses to address the door issue. After a few months it has become apparent that I can't use the heavy glass patio doors they installed. I am disabled and over 65. It is very difficult for me to pull open the heavy door due to a spine injury, and I have tripped on the large threshold. I sent an email to them before installation, stating I needed the door opening to be at least 40" wide to accommodate a wheelchair, and they gave me one that opens to only 22" wide. I recently emailed them to ask that they change out the patio door to French doors, which I wanted in the first place, and they refused. It will now cost me thousands of dollars to have the door replaced.

A few small issues were pointed out at the end of the inspection. There was zero pressure to get anything done. Alberto simply recommended correcting them at some point. I requested an estimate to repair and Alberto's pricing was very fair. Since he was prepared with all the materials needed in his truck, we were able to get it all done on the spot. We now feel safe and confident about using our fireplace this coming season! Great service all around has won over our future business. Will definitely continue to use them for years to come.

I strongly recommend looking for other vendors. They have also tried getting my reviews removed across platforms. -- I hired Intown after getting a flier for them. I've used some of the bigger painters in town and I had been wanting to try a smaller business and I figured I'd give these guys a shot for our kitchen cabinets. They seemed like a good option for a bit more affordability, so I figured I'd try them. You get what you pay for. What a mistake. This is the experience I had. We started out totally normal. Their crew of two guys came out on the first day to tape everything off in the kitchen. Totally fine. Only one guy comes the next day so the other can get a deck done on another house. I guess that's how they can keep prices lower. There's a few different things that happened at this phase and we gave them a lot of grace throughout all of it, but the short version is the crew was not up to the task of properly painting cabinets. I did find out later from the owner that he's worked with this guy before for many outdoor jobs and for whatever reason he just expected him to be able to do cabinet work, so that tells you a lot. This was really frustrating and a waste of 2 days of work, but this was clearly just a contractor who didn't know how to paint cabinets. As long as they brought out their A-Team to fix this up, it would've been fine. Their A-Team was able to come out two days later and I did a walk-through with them in the morning. This seemed more like what I was used to and they seemed like a solid crew. I went on a walk and come home to find out that the owner had called them and said that he would not pay the agreed-upon rate and that the crew is leaving. A completely understandable reaction. It took the owner 40 minutes to reach out to me and try and figure out next steps. I was immediately told multiple times that this is a listen conversation, not a talk conversation, which quickly devolved into him saying how much of a champion he's been throughout the entire process and complaining about the labor pool he has to work with. What an absolute mess of a week and headache overall. Don't take the risk with these guys. Use another vendor.
