This is a fun brewery with lots of fun events. You can bring your own food from home or anywhere else. They usually have a food truck outside. Twice I've been there and it has been a street taco food truck. They were really good-I think you could get 3 tacos for $12. The beer is really good! I'm not an IPA drinker, but the lagers were spot on! There are several pinball machines to play. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. This has definitely become my favorite brewery in the Denver area. I can't wait to join in on some of their weekly events. read more

Nice, local low key place. Nice selection of beers brewed at location and on tap. Large soft pretzel is a bonus.

The brewery has good indoor seating and a small patio for outdoor seating. Several pinball machines, as well. The Fed Rez was a bit watery and just ok. The Squirrel Stash was surprisingly excellent. read more

Hadn't been here in a few years and was happy to see it was still around. On a Friday, was able to get a seat at a table, and there was a food truck on site. Was a little disappointed in the beers. We did a flight and the flavor wasn't great. Peeled - this is a cucumber sour and is pretty mild on the sour scale which I appreciate but the cucumber flavor was definitely lacking for both of us. Party Down - was most looking forward to this one and it was decent, I'd order it again, but again, lacking in flavor, personally. Fed Rez - was better as you drank more of it, but as my friend said "it tastes like water." Bummer. Eagle Eye - Cherry sour - again a subtle sour. Overall, each one was very subtle in flavor. Not sure I would go out of my way to come back, but I do like the space, so would maybe come back once other beers are released? read more

We've been to Landlocked many times in the past several years. They always have friendly faces, are laid back and happy to help with choosing a beer. We stopped in tonight as it was an 80's themed night and everyone was decked out in snowboarding / skiing gear. They also had someone on site to wax your board / skis for just $20 with the purchase of a 16 oz beer. Pretty sweet deal. My one drawback with Landlocked tonight was the limited selection of beers for someone who isn't keen on bitter. I am a fan of low IBU beers, sours, hard seltzers and ciders, so that likely says a lot. I did find one beer that was good. I'm not sure I could drink two, but again, we came for the vibes, the music and my beer can most definitely enjoy their IPAs. It was a fun night either way! read more

This was our first time here. How or why, I am not sure ha but we enjoyed it. We came on Super Bowl Sunday after walking the Platt with our pup so it was quiet. We ordered a couple flights and then followed it up with the Grenade hazy. Pretty decent size space with a patio and garage doors that offer a nice breeze throughout the brewery. Large parking lot so parking is not an issue and there was an event going on ~ Pints 4 Purple which was really cool. It was to support the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. You seat yourself and then order at the bar and the wait isn't too long. Friendly staff but it was a little chaotic. Guava Dammit - This is a kettle sour and you can definitely tell it's a sour from the smell. The sour is the first thing you taste and it's not an overpowering sour. It does kind of develop into a guava but there is a bitterness at the end. Sythe Harvest - the pumkin smell isn't overwhelming and it's got a great pumpkin flavor with a very well balanced profile of the vanilla Linda - this wasn't on the menu but is apparently the blackberry version of the Beerly Beloved [with raspberries]. You can definitely get the smell of the blackberries and it foes have a strong wheat finish. Very light and an interesting color. Squirrel Stash - has a strong nutty smell and you get hints of malt at the beginning that develops into a nutty flavor at the middle and end. It kind of lingers. Flight was ~$10 but I enjoyed it overall. I love that the place is dog friendly and there is outdoor seating. They serve food but also have a food truck. I was invited to stop in and see a friend that goes there to have a beer as she can take her dog. Being dog friendly is really important to me. Her and and I chatted, had a few beers and shared some chicken fingers. I didn't same the menu as much as I would have liked so I will gladly return to have an actual meal. The beef was cold and the service was fantastic. The chicken fingers came out in under ten minutes and they were fantastic. They have many unique beers try and dozens of food choices. The place is clean, open and well maintained. The server was extremely pleasant and was very attentive. Our glasses were never empty. There was a really good mix of people and the "vibe" was casual and pleasant. I really enjoyed myself as did my date and her pup. read more

Nice brewery. Diverse beers. The dark ones were pretty fun. The coffee one tastes straight up like cold brew coffee! During Covid they have a bunch of tables outside. It's cute, and the inside is nice as well. High and low tops. Friendly staff and pretty quick service. Flights come in a lil wooden boat of 4. Coffee one tasted just like cold brew coffee. Squirrel one was SUPER yummy and interesting. The Porter was nice and rich. The 4th was rich and toasty. They also had a food truck when I was there. Went on a Wednesday, Stef was the beertender and she's awesome and plays good stream of music. Attentive and friendly with all customers and place is clean, bright, welcoming. Squirrel Stash is my favorite brew of theirs. Great to have AMBER style beers, microbreweries have been overrun with IPAs. read more

First time in _finally_!!!! I have wanted to stop since they opened. Glad I chose this snowy, cold, Denver Sunday to come in. Never mind that the Broncos blew a lead with the Colts, the beer was great and that is all that matters. Sampled 6 and would sample the rest if I could ~ quality brewing here and the ambiance is perfect. Keeping things lively with events and live music is a nice thing to see...and I really need to make more of an effort to get over here more often!! We went tonight, and we loved it! They play punk rock (love), had a great sour beer (Tropic like it's hot), and they did their first comedy night tonight and all the comedians were hilarious! I was so excited to discover this amazing Brewery in my neighborhood recently! It sounds like they are pretty new maybe only have been in business for about 9 months. We stopped here after dinner one night on a Friday and it was very busy but there were still plenty of seats available. The bartenders were very friendly helped us select a variety of beer for a flight. The craft beer was very flavorful. The Saison and In-land IPA were my favorite. It is very family-friendly, even at 8 at night on a Friday there were younger children they are sitting at tables. There was also live music which was a plus. The brewery is remodeled and although it looks dated from the outside it is very updated and clean on the inside. And I have to say it's some of the nicest women's restrooms I've been in for a Denver brewery! They have lots of weekly events such as karaoke, live music, and trivia night. There are lots of restaurants in the area to order food from and they also have food trucks often. The schedule is posted on their website. This is a great little neighborhood spot with delicious craft beer, I would highly recommend checking it out if you're in the neighborhood. read more

The service is awesome, welcoming bartenders, they even brought a water bowl for my dog that was super thirsty. They have regular events, like today there was live music that enhanced the atmosphere. Enjoyed the session beers at Landlocked Ales very much. Having a a variety of beers from 3.3 to 5.4 is great. The Kolsch is delicious and very traditional. The English mild was my favorite and also enjoyed their Saison . I look forward very much to the release of their IPA soon. The brewery had a nice vibe and very friendly people working the bar. They are dog friendly and have a small deck. Wish that was bigger but small complaints. Nice to enjoy an extra beer that tastes good and is low alcohol. The long wait for them to open was worth it. Went in recently for the first time and it will most likely be the last. Their staff was frantically busy which is totally ok but they we're rude to my wife and me. We sat at the bar for 5-10 minutes without anyone greeting us. The first someone acknowledged us was one bartender telling another that if we wanted to order beer we should get behind the bar ourselves and wash glasses. Come on guys. read more

So I feel welcomed each time I visit, which is almost weekly. They have solid beer here, but my favorite by far is Coffee House Stout. I try to start my Friday with one. Went here Sunday afternoon after hanging in the water all day (I see the irony here). We were immediately sat outside. Even for being in a plaza, it had all the great feelings of hanging at a patio anywhere else. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about all of the beers. They offer the 5oz tasters for about $2.50 each. Pretty standard but always a great way to "build your own flight." They offer Crowlers as well. Highly recommend the West Gaze IPA!! read more

If you're not a big drinker but want something more than domestic without the fun of slurring your words after a triple IPA, this might be your place. Situated in a corner strip mall in south Lakewood sits this new brewery that focuses on low abv beers, highest you'll see is around 6% or so. They have a few IPAs, but they're of the session variety and focus on flavor profiles rather than IBUs. The bartender was friendly and the few I had were alright, but I lean more on the high gravity no holds barred brewing side most of the time. They don't have food but have a decent sized space, with tables and board games to keep you occupied, multiple TVs and have food trucks on busy nights. They also have delivery from Jimmy johns across the street as well as a pizza joint. read more
