Wow!! What a hole in the wall! Found this place through our "Hop Passport" Felt like we stepped back in time. This brewery has a 50s diner/garage feel to it. Tons of seating inside and some outside but unfortunately, it had not been cleaned due to the snow yet so the tables and seats were soaked and we had to sit inside on a beautiful sunny day. We had checked their website to look at their beers on tap and once we got there they notified us that the website had not been updated and the beers we wanted were not actually available so that was a bummer. Other than that, this place was pretty cool!

When on this side of town I will definitely stop back in. Strange location but super friendly staff and the Chili Beer has a nice little kick.

Rad hidden gem. Wasn't on Yelp so had to add it but Google threw us a bone in the area looking for beer. Reminded me of Blue Tile Brewery but a bit more established. Think Colorado brewery in the 2010-2015 era. 6 and 40 has been making beers for a bit though and they've really honed their recipes and styles. Indoor and outdoor seating. Gives me a diner vibe but indoors in the main room felt slightly cramped with the bright tanks and counter plus seating. Adjacent they have a brewing supply store. Reminded me of The Brew Hut down in Aurora adjacent to Dry Dock Brewing Company. Friendly and fast service. Samples, flights, full and half pours are available as you would expect. I personally am into the hoppy and malty and this brewery checked all those boxes. Cities can be over saturated with breweries these days. It's nice to see a brewery focusing on the beer. It's also nice to see a spot servicing what they brew and not just a taproom with beer from elsewhere. Well worth a drive to check this spot out. Honorable mention to Google for showing me this spot. Will certainly be back to see what's new on tap!

Truly enjoyed this brewery! Little hole in the wall, small town, Diner feel. Beer was great! We had Belgian style, IPA, English stout and a Pilsner. Took a Cabernet barrel aged Belgian Golden to go. Yum! Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Our favorite so far in CO!

Cool little micro brewery with lots of different beer styles available. Friendly beertender. Lots of choices, including some seasonal dark beers. The Stout was a bit sweet, but the porter was delicious. Location is hidden in an industrial park, off the main road so drive around until you find them. Decor reminds me of traveling Route 66 in the 1960s. They are on the Denver Beer (passport) trail. Go here -- have an excellent beer.

Went here on 6/18/22. This brewery is tucked away in an industrial area. There are a few signs. It's next to a brewing store. This is a car themed brewery. Lots of old posters inside. Its a good atmosphere. Lots of beers. From light to dark. Looks like they have crowlers. I think they bottle 1 of their beers. Friendly bartender. In the main area there are bar seats and high top tables. Then there are 2 other rooms that have low tables. Good amount of space. We ordered a flight. We tried the cream ale, watermelon sour, table beer, brown, Mexican amber lager, west coast ipa and biere de garde. The brown and Biere de garde were really good. Cream ale and watermelon sour were underwhelming. But most part the beers were good. Will definitely be back. Cheers!

There are moments when human beings believe they are on a quest for higher knowledge. And then…read morethere are moments when they are just heavy objects being pulled toward the earth by gravity, wanting nothing more than a chair, a cooked piece of dough, and a cold glass of beer to dull the edges of the evening. The remarkable thing is that the second quest often yields the greater joy. Five of us, all varying degrees of exhausted from a long day of sightseeing, stumbled into Odell Brewing's Sloan's Lake Brewhouse at the corner of 17th and Perry. We were not looking for a miracle. We were looking for a soft place to land. We ordered our dinner, then ventured up to the rooftop patio, which looks out over the lake. I'm told that when the entire surrounding landscape isn't engulfed in flames that you can clearly see the jagged spine of the Rocky Mountains from up there. It is a very fine place to sit while the planet rotates away from the sun. They have a second bar up there that is just as well stocked as the one on the main floor, and the space was filled with the pleasant, low-grade hum of people who were glad to be alive and not currently looking at a screen. The kitchen turns out scratch-made pizzas, so we ordered a Margherita and a Garden Harvest. You must understand something about the five of us: we come from Central and Northern New Jersey. In our part of the world, opinions about pizza are not casual preferences; they are inherited like family heirlooms or chronic joint pain. To say that a group of Jersey natives found these pizzas to be genuinely good is a small miracle of regional diplomacy. They weren't trying to imitate a New York slice. They were just honest, well-baked pies with fresh ingredients, which is an honorable thing for a pizza to be. Then there was the beer. According to their website, this location houses a 10-barrel pilot system where they brew experimental, small-batch R&D beers you can't get anywhere else. I believe them. The fruited sour we sampled was bright and lively, the sort of beer that makes you wonder why so many other breweries get the style completely wrong. The porter was equally memorable, rich, dark, and smooth, with deep roasted notes that made it far too easy to drink. It was a beautiful piece of liquid craftsmanship. The staff was fast and entirely devoid of the plastic, rehearsed cheer you so often find in corporate franchises. They brought things out before we had time to grow cranky, and they seemed genuinely glad we had wandered into their corner of Denver. We had expected a purely transactional exchange of money for calories before going to sleep. Instead, we got a rooftop at dusk, exceptional beer, and the sudden, sweet realization that the day had ended exactly as it should. People are strange, fragile creatures, but occasionally we stumble into the right table at the right time.

Always a treat to eat here. Just started doing gluten free and enjoying my cocktails here today. The blood orange was really good and I would definitely order this again. It was by far my favorite of the three. The blood orange and the basil was perfectly balanced. The cream ale was also decent and is something I could drink all day. My least favorite was the honey cinnamon saison and I honestly don't like this beer. It was just missing something. The atmosphere was quiet and my favorite part of this bar was the 3 legged dog that greeted me when entering. What a sweet dog, I wanted to take the dog home with me.

I happened to show up on trivia night, which explained why the place was buzzing with energy and packed full of people. One of the biggest standouts here is how dog-friendly it is. If you've got a furry friend, this is absolutely the brewery for you. The massive dog park/run in front doubles as their outdoor patio, so while your pup is making new friends, you can sip on a pint and do the same. Inside, there's plenty of seating and a fun setup with arcade games and activities to keep both adults and kids entertained for hours. On top of that, I lucked out with one of my favorite food trucks, Rustic Nomads, parked out front serving up some killer eats -- the perfect pairing with a cold beer. Overall, a great brewery with a variety of beers to choose from, a welcoming vibe, and one of the best setups in the area if you're a dog owner. Definitely worth the stop!
