I went with the four glass taster offering and it was hitting on all cylinders. Not a very big seating area but it was enough for us and everyone havin a pint. What I thought was really cool was all the paper birch paintings around. All that aside all 4 beers I sampled were straight on point. If I ever get the opportunity to come back to Golden I will be sure to stop at Mountain Toad again.

We finished with two regular old fashioned and were equally impressed with how tasty they also were. Our bartenders were both absolutely amazing and made for an even better experience. Extremely friendly and personable. We had a good laugh with one of them about me wanting to take photos of my drinks. They were just so pretty I had to! We were welcomed in and soon were tucked in at a table with our tasty brews. My husband went for a West Coast IPA called The Human Fund and, as always, I got a dark beer. There were lots of people, a makers market, lots of tie dye, a fun/funky mural on the wall, a beautiful space with lots of seating, and a bunch of phish fans (very conveniently located near red rocks). The beers were great - with the standout being the dark space between - which they were pouring the 2022, 2023, and 2024 versions of (it's a bourbon barrel aged stout that they change up each year). They were outstanding. Bummed to hear they are closing, however, very happy to get here, and experience it, before they did. Best of luck - hoping to hear you open something else in future!
