We had a previous tear off, meaning we have single layer roofing. I was told by rep that double layer roofing is no longer acceptable In Michigan. So we had to do another tear off. I just checked with Michigan roofing codes and there is no such change in layers. Double layer is acceptable in all Michigan cities. I also checked Go To Roofing for verbiage. Posted on their site shows they do double layer roofing. I don't like being conned. I believed rep as being trustworthy. I did have an option but it wasn't given to me. I called roofing due to possible leak in upstairs back bedroom.

Thanks to Greg Ash and his family, the city of Westland has reversed their position and now is holding my neighbor responsible for the fence repair and maintenance. We wanted to rate these guys a lot higher than this. When it came to completing the work they were…read morefast, easy to work with, and nothing but great throughout the whole process. We were so pleased with how nice they were that when they accidentally tore out more driveway than we'd contracted for, as offered to split the cost with them rather than have them eat the whole cost. I was a bit disappointed to receive a painted on border, when I'd asked for stamped, and then discover the next year they offered what I'd asked for to every project they did. What was most disappointing though was asking for a stained patio, to discover that they just painted on the stain not mixed it with the concrete. No big deal right, I knew very little about this stuff and they did a good job, and again they were nothing but great to work with. I chalked it up to another learning experience when working with contractors, and proceeded to enjoy my new patio and driveway. However, to my ultimate dismay this painted on stain lasted only 8 months before I discovered it flaking off all over our patio. Frustrating, but no big deal as Mike's crew warranties their work, we let them know right away, and we were reassured theyd get us fixed up once the season started back up. That was 20 months ago, despite constant contact and promises, no actual follow through or correction. We were finally left with no choice but to file a complaint to the state AG. If you're looking for good solid, not decorative work I definetly recommend these guys. Our driveway is still holding up well. If you're looking for a patio or other piece that appearance is important, just know, if there are issues afterwards there won't be a warranty to fall back on. Also, make sure when working with any and all contractors to ask for their license number and check it against the state database.
