    Sesame Chicken
    Ann R.

I had their sesame chicken and fried rice chef's special and I was pleasantly surprised. Usuallt sesame chicken and orange chicken always tasted the same to me, but this actually had great flavor. It was balanced between tangy and sweet with a tiny bit of heat. I ordered "hot spicy" and I would say it's more on the mild side. Their fried rice wasn't anything special, but it did the job. I like fried rice more than steamed rice when eating Chinese food so this hit the spot. As for the place itself, it's not the most aesthetically pleasing place, but it's clean and it has everything you need. It's super clean and the staff is nice and understanding of your order. I will say they did forget an order of white rice, but it was such a small part of my order I didn't bother. Definitely will love to come back here!

Fast and fresh. Delivery. Food was excellent. Crab Rangoon was good. Not overly crispy and just the right amount of cheese. Also loved the steamed dumplings. Crispy beef was above average. Well cooked. Good beef. And the sauce was tangy with more beef than broccoli. A bit more expensive than other delivery places, but no delivery charge.

One of my FAVORITE carry outs for steak & cheeses & wings . I'm very picky when it comes to carry outs , but this is definitely my go to when I want a "carry out " steak & cheese .

    7. Chicken Steak and Cheese Sub

My sandwich shouldn't not be soggy, Chicken and Cheese Sub is wet and soggy, the contents of my sandwich are not even legible, nor should my sandwich be exploding upon first bite

This place needs some work. The cashier is rude and was on her phone while I waited patiently for her to acknowledge me. She was very short with her answers dismissive. Don't me mad at me you don't want to work at the family business. I ordered shrimp fried rice. Rice was gummy and sticky. Must have been old and reused. Chicken was old and refried. Cheesesteak egg rolls were very dry. I did even eat it. It was nasty!

Fries w chicken and a chicken sandwich. Both good.

I don't even like spicy but that salad dressing and those croutons are it. Plus, you can't forget the grilled chicken. No lie, I think after I had it the first time, I had it 2 more times that same week . A friend ordered this for me on door dash, which is how I ended up with the chipotle Caesar. Otherwise, I would have never tried it. Don't get me wrong, it has a little kick, but very tolerable and packed with flavor. The line is never too long and they move fast in there. Whenever I am near, I have been stopping in. I believe they have a rewards program but I am not really sure what the points go towards and I always feel as though I am holding up the line so I have been skipping past it, but I really need to investigate that. P.S. the regular caesar does not taste like such and I would not recommend at all.

The restaurant is nicely decorated with vibrant colors and very clean. The service is friendly and welcoming. The food was okay. Not bad and just good in my opinion. Its not rave worthy but its still good. I would come back and try other options. This is still a good healthier option oppose to the many of terrible choices we have to choose from, this beats most unhealthy fast foods restaurants. For that reason I would return to try other food options. If you like chickpeas then this is your meal, Im not so it threw off the salad to me. I would have preferred chicken. Honestly, everything came together nicely as one salad, nothing was over powering. I'm just not a fan of chickpeas. They do have an option for shrimp but dont eat bottom feeders so that wasn't an option for me. My tastebuds are much different from yours so I would still give it a try. You might like it a little more than me. Its still a fairly good meal.

I remember this place used to be to be a hibachi carry out of some sort not too long ago. However I've been seeing their fried rice online and it grabbed my attention because of the veggies and the dark color it had. It reminded me of how the fried rice from the Chinese carry out used to be in the 90's early 2000's. For some reason nowadays when you order fried rice , there tends to be nothing inside of it besides onions and bean sprouts. What happened to the peas and carrots!!!!! I entered the store on a Friday night--which had only 1 customer who was waiting on her order. I walked to the register and was greeted with a smile from a polite young lady. I ordered the fried shrimp with shrimp fried rice, which is actually one of their combos. I believe it was $11.99/$12.99 something like that, but you get 6 shrimp or you can get 12. They have a nice amount of t of seating available if you want to dine in, I believe they have a restroom for customers available as well. The store appeared clean as well as the parking lot. The food came out quickly, cashier showed it to me before bagging ,it which was cool. Everything looked great. The shrimp were jumbo, I highly doubt you need 12 pieces unless you have a large appetite. The shrimp were lightly coated, not panko breaded. Cooked to perfection and perfectly golden brown. The rice was tasty-I did add one packet of soy sauce and that was all I needed. The food stayed hot for a very long time, and my shrimp didn't get soggy before I arrived at my destination. I will return and try something different the next time. Give this spot a try, I think they need a little bit of Yelp help....

It's a cross-cultural mashup of Southern/Soul Food restaurant, deli, and Korean restaurant (they all seem to be managed by Koreans). For most of the menu, you order a main seafood or meat item, then choose 2 side items out of the 15 or so on display at the hot food counter along with cornbread. The sides are mostly Southern like collard greens or fried potatoes, but they also have some Asian things like lo mein and stir-fried veggies. I've been to two of the franchise locations several times (including this location for a work trip last week), took my parents to the one in Laurel, and never had one problem - their food is always outrageously good.

It's a fact: Mid-Atlantic Seafood can be easily overlooked for non-seafood options, ie where else in the area - or anywhere close ie New Carrolton, Landover Hills, Lanham, Seabrook, Glendale and Greenbelt - can you find at least 8 types of cake slices, 6 cheesecake flavors and 6 pies? The answer is nowhere unless you are at a grocery store or a bakery. I'll go over the types of desserts later. Any entree that comes with sides will give you 30 choices. Which of the 30 sides will you choose?! With so many dining options to choose from, do yourself a favor: flip-thru all of the menu options at the tiny menu monitor to the left of the dessert case before deciding what to eat because out of the 9 gigantic, rotating monitor menus, I didn't as easily see half of what they actually offer. Just go to the small monitor and read about all of the appetizers, salads, entrees and deserts efficiently. Alternatively, visit https://mid-atlanticseafood.com/new-carrollton/ on your phone. Seriously: aside from all of the seafood on the large monitors, you can get turkey, homemade meatloaf, barbecue chicken and ribs. As for the 30 sides to choose from, some are macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and French fries. We loved the mac-n-cheese. And the cheesy potatoes look overly rich but they are not. Really enjoyed those, too. These are classic potatoes au gratin with a bit of extra cheese and a lot of flavor. They also serve diverse varieties of other sides, including lo mein, white rice and cornbread. Not to mention the grilled vegetables, green beans, cheesy broccoli, corn and other options on the massive and never-ending steam table. On the 9 main video screens, you can get more than 7 kinds of fish and choose if you want it fried, baked or grilled. We wanted ours' baked. The waiter recommended to have it grilled because it would take less time and be more tender. We didn't listen to his advice, but he was right. Our baked fish was ok but we would love to come back and taste it grilled. The variety of fish offered is impressive, from ocean perch to salmon to tilapia to flounder to grouper to mahi mahi to whiting. You can also order crabs, snow crab legs and shrimp. Also want to try the stuffed shrimp here. When it says, "stuffed," that means with crabmeat. They have a garlic butter seafood boil here with crab legs, spiced shrimp, andouille chicken sausage, corn, etc. Meow. The chicken comes 4 ways: barbecued, fried or baked and as chicken wings. They have 3 types of pork chops: grilled, fried and smothered with gravy. Their entrees come with a choice of white bread, wheat bread, a potato roll or a slice of cornbread for an upcharge of $1.00. I didn't taste the cornbread on this visit but I'd like to, next time. One team member passionately said it was really good. We tried the mango slaw and it was good but not sweet. I heard the regular cole slaw is even better, so I would like to try that because I'm guessing it's as good as all the rest of their food we tried. I would also like to try the crab fried deviled eggs and the Cajun steamed mussels. Not to mention a lot of other dishes there! And now back to the cakes. They have so many desserts to choose from. I mean: multiple flavors of cakes, cheesecakes, pies, etc. They even have Smith Island cakes, which are a thinly-layered and stacked legendary Chesapeake Bay tradition. The current flavors are chocolate, red velvet and coconut at time of writing. We enjoyed our lemon short cake, the lemon berry marscapone cake and the mixed berry shortcake. Six different flavors of cheesecake, anyone? I'll next try the sweet potato and cinnamon cheesecake, please. They also have 6 kinds of pies including pecan, key lime and cookies and cream. The design of Mid-Atlantic Seafood is understated, clean and simple: counter service, a cold case of desserts and salads, a series of long steam table ms and a small eat-in dining area for maybe 20 people. The restrooms: clean and regularly checked. The staff are all helpful and busy. Good people serving good food! Do consider this a cafeteria, specializing in seafood with an out-of-this-world bakery.
