Now the crabs tasted pretty good as well as the shrimp...but these were suppose to be JUMBO! Now I've had jumbo and colossal blue crabs before and they were HUGE! These are best were maybe large because most were pretty heavy...but that doesn't mean they are jumbo. So I really didn't like that I paid 90/dz for what I thought would be huge and get home and see these tiny crabs. The owners were really nice and even provided me with some newspaper to eat my crab. But to say these are jumbo is dishonest. Especially when the price is up there in this economy. read more

Yesterday, my bestie, Katrina and I, stopped here to get some crabs. One of our friends frequents this place a lot and loved the crabs here so we decided to try it. When we went in, it was clean and there was fresh seafood to choose from that they would cook right there. We knew we wanted crabs, but we were not sure what size to get. They had a special that if you buy 2 dozen small female, male or mixed crabs, that they would throw in a 1/2 dozen for free. We ended up choosing the small females and it was $51 for the crabs and two mallets. It took 13 minutes to cook them and they were seasoned. The cashier was so nice and told us she had given us some "extras". We quickly went to my house, covered the table with newspaper and got to work. What can I say about these crabs? They were amazing! Not overcooked and seasoned just right. I know we were supposed to get a total of 30 crabs, but I swear there were way more. I am sure I ate at least 10! A lot of people don't like the small crabs, but to me, they were great. The meat was juicy and seasoned and they were delicious! I will definitely be back to get some more crabs! read more

Wanted some jumbo crabs but didn't want to travel too far. Was referred to this place that just happened to be right in my neighborhood. I also love that they don't open til noon so I don't have to get up at dawn to get there soon after they open and before they sell out. Crabs were jumbo, hot, and delicious and I got quite a few extra claws! They were fat males which is all I eat. They cook them while you wait. Even the seasoning was the best I've had. Got some jumbo fried shrimp from here that were bomb and I must say that they were the real deal. Nice light batter...Not that heavily battered garbage of two shrimp stuck together that these other places sell...the fish was on point as well. I will be back soon. read more
