While I was setting up Christmas decorations, I observed that one of the bushes has begun to regrow, which seems to be regarded as a miracle since the root ball was supposedly removed! Additionally, I noticed that a considerable portion of the newly installed concrete slab is distinctly discolored due to inconsistent or improper mixing. Unfortunately it seems I will have to resolve this through our court system.

The project included a complicated French drain that started in the far side of my backyard and extended down the fence line of my property and emptied into the front lawn. The second project, which occurred a couple of years later was to install new sod in my front yard. The most recent project was to replace existing grass from one side of my yard and replace with gravel and step stones. None of the projects were simple one day projects. In most cases the jobs were 2-3 days of hard laborious work for the workers. Speaking of the workers. Pete Facundo is the director of the Bioscapes projects. Pete has always been honest, patient and a professional to work with. His employees are well trained and skillful in the performance of their work. They are respectful and courteous to their customers and their neighbors at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend Pete and Bioscapes for your landscaping project.

Not really sure why every billing cycle for the last 5 months has been incorrect. Have asked for corrected invoices multiple times and they just don't care enough to correct them. Service is meh. Not any worse than any other mowing service, but for the premium price they charge and the billing aggravation, it should be better than average. They have also left my gate wide open after leaving, so my dogs aren't safe. I will probably end up finding another mowing service if I get one more incorrect invoice.

There's also some area that gets too much rain (drainage issue) and the grass is dead because of it and soil got washed away. Olson Outdoor did a great job fixing a drainage problem on one side of my house that another…read morecompany had botched, previously. My property is on a slight incline and heavy rains brings a ton of water to one side of the house. A few years back, I had it repaired by a *different* company, which installed a french drain to get rid of the water. After a few heavy rains, it was pretty clear this fix didn't solve the problem. When Michael came by to give a quote, he saw the french drain and said that that's almost never the right solution to these types of drainage problems. He recommended a swale (I think that's the right term), which meant removing a good bit of soil, adding a steel retaining wall, and covering with river rock. Michael and his crew did a great job, and multiple heavy rains since that time have proved that the fix was solid. Him and his crew even patched up height transition with a small, decorative retaining wall, which we hadn't discussed (and wasn't charged extra for). I'd definitely call Olson Outdoor for my next drainage project (and probably other landscaping needs).

Avoid Daniel Zamora at all costs (and look at the negative reviews for Tailored Pools to get a true sense of what you are dealing with when you engage with the Zamoras' businesses). The nightmare that is our experience with Daniel began over a year ago. Not only does our pool remain unfinished, our entire yard is completely unusable and in a state of disrepair. Necessary permits were not secured and requests for inspection reports ignored. We are now trying to undo the problems he created in this build. Despite collecting over 95% of the contract price, he abandoned the job leaving a significant amount of work undone. Specifically, they did not finish plastering, backfilling, electrical, plumbing, coping, decking, inspection, lighting, fencing or clean up. Here are just a few of the issues we experienced: (1) dishonesty; (2) no project management - random workers would come and go without any oversight and frequently without notice leaving us to try to muddle through instructions without plans or direction; (3) lack of responsiveness - as soon as the contract was signed and the first check in hand Daniel was difficult to get in touch with frequently leaving messages unanswered for days/weeks; (4) scheduling issues -- despite repeated promises they did not hit deadlines and constantly pushed back work, the excuses for which becoming increasingly far-fetched as time went on (5) deviation from design and missteps; and (6) lack of worker/subcontractor controls.

Nicolas was extremely fast in responding to my initial requests, where other companies failed to respond at all. Nicolas helped me size up the scope and helped flesh out the ideas I had for changes to make. In addition to our stone hardscape they also installed a french drain to ease the pooling problems we were having. We had such a good experience, we had him come back and rework a section of our front yard to replace some old pavers with a more modern look and additional plants. He even went out of his way to put my old pavers up for sale and brought the money made back to me! All around great service and very communicative.
