The scope was for a major patch job for our condo's ancient parking lot, both surface and under raised building. Also, repairing cracked, uneven sidewalks. ***** Rickey, The work product looks great! Your crew was professional and fast. Cleanup was excellent. Your crew even picked up a few of things that weren't even theirs. They also found a small pot hole near the entrance I'd missed and filled it in as a courtesy. Your folks also noticed the dumpster was now out of the way and extended the front apron strip all the way to the north. I really appreciate all of these things, taking the initiative to add value to the project. You have great folks working for you! Is been a pleasure working with you. You're an excellent communicator for one thing and that made this whole project go so smoothly. You kept schedule and budget, which was critical for our board. For the first part of my experience - it was excellent. I wrote an email to contact Alpha (to repave a parking lot) - and Dirk was out quickly and gave me a competitive bid - explaining each item in detail. The asphalt repair that they executed was very nice - and actually covered more area than I anticipated. THIS is why we hire professionals. After some seasonal and weather delays, we finally got our seal coat and stripe painting completed. The work quality was all good except for; 1. Seal coating drips on the apron, 2. Portions where the cracks were missed/not tarred prior to seal. This was a large project for us, and the quality could have been better. Called for an estimate on driveway repair where the driveway is crumbling into the replaced sewer line on one of the rentals. Was told by someone who took all the personal info that someone else would get back to me that day or the next to talk about coming out for an estimate. Didn't happen. Never heard from them. 2 more days wasted by contractors...aaaargh. Would not recommend anyone who does business like that. read more

7am on a Saturday morning? Seriously, City of Austin? Ugh sorry it took a negative experience for me to write a review for you all Alpha Paving but having had a comparison of what could have been made me realize what a good paving company would've done. COA redoing our street again and I know they all have to beat the heat and start early but trying to fix up a what they did wrong at 7am on a summer Saturday with loud gravel trucks isn't fun and that's what the city is trying to do on our streets this morning. No notice no warning. Just shuffling the gravel because they used cheap sealant and heard our neighborhood complaints about gravel flying everywhere. Why couldn't they have contracted out and used Alpha Paving? Over the years I have noticed you all. I see your work and equipment at my children's school. First at our elementary over the summer redoing our parking lot and wow after it was done it was beautiful. It sorely needed it. It's now still in pretty good shape, smooth, driveable, no potholes or marks. It's nice. You all did quality work there. Thank you. Then you all hit our PISD CHS and redid the front parking lot even marking on it as a football field per our band directors directions so our band can practice on the lot. You all did it magnificently, efficiently and beautifully. It will serve our HS students and the band well for years to come. Lamar. Ugh what can I say? I drive straight down Lamar at least once a week and in the near future both my kids will have to drive each day to get to UT. This road was a mess. It's still a mess from Koenig down to UT. I fear for my new car driving down there daily with all those cracks and potholes. We need Alpha Paving to fix it all. And to my surprise I see Alpha working in the northern part of it and wow what a difference it made. It was like night and day! It was so smooth driving down that stretch. Now because we tasted the difference how much more we need you all to fix the entire street all the way down to UT and beyond please! And how nice it would be if you all were the ones fixing our neighborhood and my street right now instead of COA. (It's still an ugly mess :( So just wanna thank you all Alpha Paving for making a huge difference around town. Crews cleaned the areas, had pylons, signage and barricades for safety. Project Managers and supervisors inspected the work several times as well as Travis County. Alpha Paving was the chosen vendor to reseal and restripe the streets in our south Austin condominium community. The quality of their work (in soaring 100+ degree heat) has been outstanding. They communicated with our HOA and board well in advance of schedules and work commencement, and were flexible with regularly scheduled yard mowing, and garage pickup. The logistics of closing streets was expertly done and now our neighborhood looks 100 times nicer after their work. My East Austin homeowners association common area included a very worn out asphalt driveway that needed repaving. One day I noticed my favorite coffee shop was getting a new parking lot surface so I watched the workers for a while and wrote down the name of the paving contractor, Alpha Paving. Called them up, got a reasonable price, scheduled the job and they showed up on time with every kind of heavy equipment you could imagine. The paving machine looked nearly new as well as most of the other equipment. The manager was knowledgeable and friendly and the workers were skilled at what they did. The Village of Volente in Western Travis County selected Alpha Paving for a major road re-surfacing project his summer. Communications with the management as well as the on site team was excellent. Rickey was great to work with and came out a second time to make sure his bid would do the work I needed. The work crew was here at 7am with a convoy of seven vehicles. These guys do great work! We had an issue at one point, and they came back and fixed it beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend Alpha Paving. I might add it's too bad there are some review on here that have nothing to do with the quality of the work. Just complaining about their trucks, etc. When you are having a paving job done, there are going to be trucks and the smell of asphalt and noise. I contacted this guy's about resealing our car lot and made an appointment for the very next day at 9 am, I arrived at 8:55 am and he was already waiting on me, this guy took the time to answer all my questions in detail and I instantly forgot about the 2 previous companies that I got quotes from.
