The service is always great. They have a good variety of flowers and plants....i buy mums in the fall so they have a huge variety. During the fall they have hay bales and corn stalks which are also reasonably priced. They have plenty of pumpkins and yard decorations as well. Bringing items to your car is easy because they provide wagons to cart your purchases around in as you shop. They also provide rope if you need to tie something to the roof of your truck. The plants I have bought always last the fall and are in good shape. There is always help available if you need. Great nursery.

My only complaint is that I wish it were larger, I love walking through the greenhouse just being near all the plants. I did find what I was looking for, and a few things I wasn't, and ultimately, yes, they're a bit pricier on some things than your big-box chain stores, but honestly, I'd rather that. Local nurseries are dying and I'm happy to help keep this one thriving.

The prices were reasonable which also encouraged me to buy more. The cashier and office staff were also very cordial. This seems to be a well ran family business (I don't know, just guessing). Not everything was labeled with the price, they seem to get new inventory everyday so it's understandable. The staff is friendly enough to look up whatever is needed (price, plant-care info) but I didn't want to be a nuisance, so I'll probably comeback when it's less busy. I didn't read the bad review until I got home so full disclosure, I'm a person of color, a woman and a mom. I didn't feel any unwelcome undertones and I saw the staff interact with a plethora of diverse customers with respect and equality. Also, the plants that cost me a couple of thousand dollars had many broken branches because the workers rushed to install them. They also want payment up front before any delivery/installation/scheduling. It was a horrible and stressful experience. Informing the owner of my experience resulted only in his making excuses for USG's bad actions with no apology whatsoever. ***And because I posted my review, the owner Dimitri vindictively told me that he would no longer stand behind the plants or the work done to make things right. He didn't like my honest review. Prior to my review, he was willing to make right his failures, if needed. It is disappointing that UGC is unable to acknowledge its mistakes or shortcomings, and that they do not know how to interact with customers.
