And the answer is...slightly. The store is definitely in better shape and much more organized. But while the ones in Wisconsin were cluttered and ramshackle, this location is sparse, with some shelves nearly empty. Also disappointing was that some marked down merchandise such as tumblers were clearly defective and should have been disposed of instead of marked down. All that being said, I did get a great deal on a paper towel holder (despite HomeGoods having zero such items at their location) and a cup for my mom. I'm not likely to run out and stop here again but if I was in the area with time to kill, I might consider it.

I went to find a salesperson to see how much a bookcase was, and there was no one to be found. It was like a ghost town, but I know someone had to be there. We ran into another couple who had come in, and the man asked me, "Did we walk into a crime scene?" It was just completely silent and no one was anywhere to be found. Had a wide variety of clothes, some croctheted afghans, coats, and neat items but again--absolutely no one in sight to assist.

The shoes can be very uncomfortable if you buy the wrong size. The shoes can be very stylish and comfy cozy if you buy the right size. The sales they have are remarkable and very fair, much more so than other "retail outlet" shoe stores like Nike, Reebok, Addidas, Asics, Saucony, New Balance, etc. They sell athletic gear beyond shoes too and have Ferrari and BMW licensed co-branded logo gear section too, still very reasonably priced. If you have a sports car or know of one by those manufacturers it's nice clothing accessories (shoes, shirts, jackets and/or pants) to match your outfit with your car... and also makes for unique gift items too. The employees are friendly and genuinely helpful, sort of like shoe stores used to be back in the day. It's self service, but there are people that are eager to help you find your correct size or fetch you shoes in a different color. It's the best of both worlds: excellent service and help when you need it, but also a place that makes it easy to browse and try on shoes at your own pace. The store is always neat, organized, and easy to shop in, making the whole experience a pleasure. Definitely worth a visit if you're hunting for comfort kicks and a stress-free shopping experience.
