Ultimately, I want both of you to be empowered and educated through the birth experience. All classes come with a useful booklet. I don't have insurance and I made it very clear that money was not an issue, I just want to feel better. I kept telling her my symptoms and it's like it went in one ear and right out the other. She told me that everyone is different and this is probably how I am supposed to feel normally... I obviously know how I am supposed to feel and that wasn't it. During one of my visits I still had tons of questions and the doctor walked out on me and I had to ask "are we done?" while she was already walking away outside of the room I was in. They ran one test and whenever I got the results she said there was no medication for it and recommended an at home treatment that my doctor now said she would NEVER recommend. I then decided that I was not comfortable going to this doctor anymore and I tried out a new one, and tell me why they had no problem running different tests until they figured out what was going on with me. And the infection I had can cause infertility and health problems if not treated in a certain amount of time, and by the time I got my appointment with a new doctor it had been almost over a year that I had been sick. I'm not sure if I was treated differently because I did not have insurance, but I've had a family member say they had an issue with them before saying that they wouldn't listen to her about something making her sick and she eventually moved doctors as well. There are so many gynecologists that WANT to help you and WANT you to get better, but this is not one of those places. 0/10 would not recommend this place to anyone.
