The cashier DINA was extremely rude to me and my husband. I would not expect good customer service here.

Check your expiration dates!!! Can't tell you how many times I've seen expired products in the refrigerator section! The worst was an entire shelf of Smithfield Ham all being over two weeks past the sell by date. There's no excuse for this. Also, the meats are often unfreezing which makes me worry as you're not supposed to freeze them again. Love the baggers, always so friendly. read more

We love a good commissary! I love that they have a pick up option! I have not personally utilized it, but I do know a friend who has. She loves the convenience. The staff has always been wonder and so helpful. My husband and I love the foreign foods. This commissary is pretty big. Pricing is great! They have a nice clearance sections in the back left corner near the cheese. read more

Staff and baggers are lovely, there's a decent variety (not necessarily cheaper than other stores), but it holds a great supply to have to not go much further or leave the AFB. Would have given it 4 stars but it looks like it could do with a bit of a clean or spruce up, especially the restrooms. Prices are better if not equal to civilian stores. There are different items that regular stores do not carry. The bakery is to die for. So delicious. read more

The Langley AFB Commissary is better than Sam's Club or Costco; I have saved thousands of dollars over the years by shopping there instead of Food Lion or the old Farm Fresh right next to my house! read more

I used to shop here quite often before I found other stores that suited to my liking better. I still make my way back every once in a while but not at all as often as I used to. It's very convenient in the fact that I live less than 10 minutes away. They offer a ton of brands for all your grocery needs but the prices are a little bit on the higher side compared to chain grocery stores in the area. All the employees are helpful and friendly which is always a plus in all establishments. The store could use a little bit of TLC although they do keep it clean and neat. One of my main gripes about this commissary is that a lot of the times I've found their produce not stocked and when it is, it's not quite the best quality. Other than that it's still a decent place to go especially especially if you're located inside the base. read more

Not bad for a military supported establishment. Little remodeling has been done since the last time I was here. Staff has a great new attitude and very friendly and helpful. They make grocery shopping inviting. Can't beat most of the prices either. read more

The last 3 times we have been to this commissary there have been too many shelves empty of basic items such as McCormick vanilla for baking, Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix, 409 Cleaning spray, limited selection of green beans, etc. All these items were found at the Ft Eustis commissary. Prefer to use Langley, but will avoid until their stockage is back up to the standards of 2019. Can not believe the Virus is the issue with basic stocking of basic items on the shelves! read more

It's cheaper than Harris Teeter but the deli stinks. The fish counter really literally stinks.

I make sure to visit Langley whenever I'm in Hampton. The prices are competive with the other base commissaries however, the fresh produce isn't as pretty or plentiful as the other base commissaries. On the upside Langley's fresh meats are fresher and last longer in the fridge if you don't have an opportunity to cook them right away. The convenience store/service station/package store on Langley is the best I've seen yet! read more

I enjoy shopping here. The items are much cheaper than stores off base such as Food Lion, Harris Teeter, etc. I especially like the deli which offers a computer to place your order. I always put my order in as soon as I walk in and by the time I finish shopping it's ready. read more

Love this place, come here for groceries every week but its got some issues. First off the produce is god awful especially the cantaloupes. Im just trying to get some fruit there are flies all over them. They are all bruised and discolored too. Id like for them to put corn out more often. But thats not it. Every time i go in the self checkout this employee with a bad dye job always touches my food. Plain and simple I don't want her grimy hands on my food. I put a cart there to block her from touching it. She moved it! She was bagging other people's groceries too. I get shes trying to be efficient but I go to that line because I like to do it myself. They need to move her somewhere else. Food is way cheaper than competitors in the area though. read more

Not overly impressed. Weird you are forced to order from the deli using an automated kiosk. Ordered a sub sandwich that took over ten minutes to prepare with no one really in front. Produce was just okay. Not the fresh I would expect in the south. read more

Not the biggest fan of this commissary. The staff/baggers are wonderful, but the cleanliness of the building is appalling. Bathrooms are always dirty, we've seen a dirty diaper on the floor numerous times. The produce is either bad or on the verge, gnats and flies all over. The deli is wonderful, do not have a problem with the meat or cheese at all. But there needs to be a serious overall cleaning of the building, and upkeep. read more

I've went twice. Once on payday Sunday when it first opened. Crazy busy, fruits & veggies picked over and line wrapped half way around store. (line did move very fast, recommend two people going if you have to go on pay day weekend. One stands in line while other finishes shopping) Went back second time a week later & was very impressed with organic selection throughout the store. Also several gluten free options that didn't cost that much more than other choices. Staff was friendly & helpful. Store was clean &well stocked. read more

If you're in the Military or have a dependent ID card than most likely you've shopped at the Commissary. What can I say? Their produce is ok, their prices on meat, fish, and chicken are fantastic. I can say that everything else that the commissary sells is cheaper than 90% of the stores off base. Their organic selection is growing but it's not great. The self service line is always packed because people don't like tipping the baggers. I hate going there at lunch when I try to buy one or two things and I have to go through the main lines because of this issue. Besides that the commissary is a great place to shop. read more

This isn't the nicest commissary I've been to but the employees are the nicest. It does have a big variety of produce and seafood and the prices are significantly cheaper than most stores or at least the same price. read more

Many items are not being stocked regularly and they run out of many items without reordering in a timely manner. Two weeks ago I was there and bought over $400 worth of groceries and many items seemed to cost more than they had in the past. There were only a few checkout registers going and I asked the clerk and she said that prices were rising and it was rumored the commissary was going to be bought out by the BX and Eustis would be the main commissary. I thought it very weird that TAC HQ would not operate a full fledged commissary. read more

Great commissary, always has good prices. Like any commissary stay away during pay day; lol long lines. There is an H&R block connected to the food court, good business good people. Recommend Karen. Only down side of the food court is kinda dirty, I saw taco bell employee hanging out but no cleaning. Besides that great place. read more

Little doubt this is a great facility with a wide product range. I especially like the meat department which not only has great prices, a responsive staff and is well stocked but also offers cuts that no longer available at civilian stores. I wouldn't think of shopping at any of their rivals. read more
