I got the same items I got last year: cinnamon roll $2.95 and carrot cake cupcakes with the 4 for $9.95 deal. The cinnamon roll was fresh, soft, and fluffy. It was a really good cinnamon roll and it was better than the one I had last year. The carrot cake cupcake was pretty good and that cream cheese icing was next level. Overall, I'm still a fan of the heritage bake shoppe and will continue to recommend it and return whenever I'm in the area.

Now, let's remedy my sins, and tell you about my experience. As you drive down East Constance Road, you see FBOS on the corner of East Pinner Street. The sign doesn't say FBOS; it says, "Tastykake (TK) Nature's Own Bakery Outlet." This is not a regular bakery; as you can tell, it is an outlet store of items from TK and Nature's Own. Growing up in Maine, we had a Country Kitchen Outlet Store and I've always been searching for a place like that. So, why did it take me so long for me to check out FBOS? Well, the exterior is nothing special, and the location is all by its lonesome. However, I am so glad that I finally decided to try it. The interior is small, but packed full of goodies; the two ladies inside were working hard. I perused the items up and down the aisles: bread, bagels, English muffins, hot dog buns, hamburger buns, assorted TK, etc. The two most abundant items are bread and TK. They sell different varieties of Nature's Own loaves of bread--most are $1.39/each, but some, like whole wheat, are $1.99/each. With prices of $1.39 a loaf, I will definitely be shopping here for my bread needs! I picked up three loaves of bread and a package of English muffins (it was the only one on the shelf--$1.39). My total came to $5.60, and the cashier told me I could pick out one item on the shelf since I spent at least $5. Now, that's a deal! I chose a box of TK Koffee Kake Juniors for my boys. Don't be like me--check out FBOS and fill up your freezer with bread! (Unless you're going gluten-free, then I'll forgive you.) Oh--one more thing. The dates on the bread that I picked up was December 17th (today is December 15th); that is why the bread is cheap. All you have to do is put it in the freezer. Easy peasy. Now, my work is done.
