We had a verbal agreement with Lansdowne Moody to buy back our tractor package for less than payoff and we'll below value and they backed out at last minute. Dishonest, do not honor agreement, profits before customer service. Avoid at all cost they will turn their back when you need help. I'll never deal with them again and advise others not to either every chance I can. You should honor your agreements and keep your word. There is nothing good I can say about the webster location. I spent a lot of money there and was always disappointed with the crappy service department. They returned my equipment and told me to my face that it was fixed. The tractor had no power and struggled to crawl up on the trailer. The mechanic took a look and found several plugs/pigtails that were not plugged in. I left the tractor and waited another week for them to plug all the pigtails in and make sure the tractor worked. When I got it back there were lights out on the dash, missing and cross threaded bolts. An oil leak that wasn't there when I dropped it off. I was told there would not be any charge and they would correct all the issues, that there mechanic created. When I went to pick it up. I got charged shipping and handling for the broken part and labor for there screwup. As a gesture they took a couple of bucks off. Wasn't that nice of them to give me a discount after they failed to repair and damaged the equipment. My advice don't use there service department. But if you do... Take video and pictures with one of there service people present. Document the inside and outside of the tractor. after being burned by them I have learned my lesion. The auto parts stores didn't have the battery I was looking for do I thought I'd have a better chance at Lansdowne-Moody. I took a brand new L3301 in for a insurance claim to replace the hood, headlight, hydraulic line, and a small recall issue. When I called three weeks (roughly later - I'm OK with time - It takes time to get parts in). While waiting on the parts my brother and I just asked how much it would cost to to the 50hr. service it was 625.00. We never gave authorization to do the service not verbally or written. We expected a simple deductible of $250.00 and that's it. I was told by Frank we could not pick up the tractor unless we came up with 800+ dollars. His theory was if he wrote a service ticket for it then its was right and was basically telling me I didn't know what I approved and didn't. At this time I still don't have my tractor and am loosing out of work on the order of about $300 per day. The real kicker is he said they were going to drain all the oil and hydraulic fluid out put my old filters back on and put my old oil and hydraulic fluid back in. I don't trust them now. read more

I could not be more pleased with his professionalism, knowledge and outstanding service. The ZD1010, I simply love it. Easy to use, rugged and comfortable to ride. This is for the Webster location. I brought my older Honda lawn mower here to be serviced after it was drained and stored while I was stationed overseas. The service rep was very polite and friendly and she told me it would be around $100 and take about 7-10 days to have my mower serviced. I called around 7 days later to check on the status and was told they were going to replace a wheel (my suggestion when I dropped it off) and a cable (which had to be ordered) and that the new total price was going to be roughly $150 walk out price. I agreed to this and waited for them to finish the job. I then called a week later and was told it should be ready soon (possibly early the next day) and they would call me as soon as it was done. I waited another week and called them back to find out that it would be ready the next day, but it was now going to cost $355. I was told that the company that drained my mower originally forgot to remove a bolt from the carburetor and that it needed a thorough cleaning (at $99/hour labor rate). The service manager did work with me to reduce the total cost to $283, but seemed to not understand why I was so infuriated with the charges. If they would have only contacted me and given me choices, I would not be as upset with their service, and most likely I would have just traded that older mower in for what they would give me towards a brand new Honda mower. I do not understand how a company thinks it is fair to quote you one price and then turn around and charge you 3.5 times that rate and not try to contact you about it. This is in regards to the cypress location. First of the dropped of three machines one of which did not work. Though that had a mechanic come out and fix it we were still charged for that day rental. When we turned in the ATV's we cleaned the exterior and failed to clean the undercarriage, which was caked with mud. Overall, the charge us $175 a vehicle to pressure wash the undercarriage of the ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE. In their notes they put it took "several Hours" to clean. They didn't even itemize it and said the had a mechanic clean the vehicle and his rate is $99 an hr. This is ridiculous. My HONDA HX217 mower self propel cable broke today so I called the Webster location considering I live in between both. I asked for a quote to replace the cable and drive belt. They said they would have to call me back but thought it'd be around $300, they weren't sure they had the parts but still couldn't give me an actual quote just to as I asked. I waited three hours for a call back so I brought the mower and a trimmer up there since it was in need of a new fuel line and a carburetor kit that wasn't a generic brand since a local shop installed that kit it hasn't ran right on the trimmer. Before I unloaded both items, they wanted to charge me $50 plus tax for each "hand held" in advance before even looking at them. I thought that kind of steep just to " diagnose" when I had specific directions on what I wanted done with mower and the weed eater just needed a carb kit and a fuel inlet hose. Then another service center person walked in and said that the carburetor possibly needed soaking and other parts and asked if "I were willing to go down rabbit hole with an off brand weed eater for possibly $220 in repairs"? The whole thing was just so wishy washy and seemed like they were into bait and switching customers into huge repair bills scare to sell them a new model they carried. The idea they charge $100 hour for small engine repair is ridiculous. I could see were this was heading and it just made me loose confidence in there service department. They told me it would take a week to get an estimate and they couldn't even tell if they had the HONDA parts in stock. I saw right through their tactics and lack of customer service skills. This place is willing to take your money for a new sale or over charge you with things you don't need in service. This company has the attitude that they could care less and by reading the other reviews it seems right in line with over charging customers. It's a shame there isn't another HONDA Power Equipment service location near by and they know it. read more

It should be zero out of 5 stars. Worst customer service, especially when you are spending $300 a tire. Most people don't have several hours to just sit around. After, I paid for my tire and asked for someone to put it on... they asked for $55 more bucks. As I left, I saw more than four employees sitting and standing around!? What did I pay for? Long story short I took my RTV to the kubota dealer for repair to Victoria Kubota Iwas told to do repairs they would have to remove the head estimate $280 for all, I called to get a second opinion bron the dealer a gought it from Lansdoene-moody Kubota the service manager told me they dint know ,what they where doing and asured meit would cost me around one hour so I whent to Victoria 150 miles each way and told off those people paid the bill$180 to get it out ,brought it to Lansdown-moody League city,to get a call two days later we are sorry but we are going to have to take the head off estimate $580 so I got screwed and taid a total of $580 plus $ 180 total $760 and coul have had it done for $280 in Victoria and not Haulded it 150 miles two ways, habe been Dealing with Alvin Kubota and they are straight and dont charg extra for shipping in Parts they have to order as lawnswowne-moody did .YFI I bought many tractors from them of course no more read more
