We tried to take them to a pediatric dentist but they requested to come back to Lansford . My kids have been watching me get cleanings and exams and have grown to know the staff for years. This review has to be based on my most recent experience from over the years. I have never been a big fan of the dentist. I think the majority of people aren't. That being said, I have to admit that this most recent experience was a good one. The staff here have always been very friendly. That's always a plus. I came in for an exam, X-rays and, a cleaning. That's nothing unusual. What really made me happy with my experience was my dental hygienist named Barb. In all my years of going to the dentist, she was without a doubt the best hygienist I have ever had working in my mouth. I felt like she took her time. She didn't just rush through as quickly as she could. She did a very thorough job and made me feel extremely comfortable. That's huge for me. After Barb was finished the Dr Lansford came in and discussed my X-rays and exam with me. I need to get some additional work done. He went into full length discussing all my options and what I need to do to move forward with my issues in my mouth. I got a needed referral and I felt good about the way Dr Lansford treated me. The care that I received recently is the only reason I wrote this review. It has nothing to do with CV19, but a complete disregard for patient communications. Here's what happened and you can decide if this is your "5 star dentist" or not. After being a patient there for several years, I had my husband attend ( who had not been to the dentist in 14 years) and my 13 year old daughter who has been going there for 3+ years, I reached out to them because I lost my mouth guard and decided to breakdown and pay for another molding. I went into the office and all was well until the bite mold impression time. This mold paste is never fun, and as I said I lost my old guard, so I have done this process many times before. The tech doing it was friendly and I just had my teeth cleaned by her moments prior so I trusted she knew what she was doing. Here's where the 1 star rating happens. Upon my return to pick up the guard, the same tech that did the mold originally, fitted the new guard in my mouth. The guard did not even fit. It had shallow places that would not even snap to my teeth and then this one area that was so wrong my tooth did not fit at all, like this was not even my mold I did. Again keep in mind I'm paying full price for this out of my pocket. So she decided to take another mold. At that exact time, I told her that last time the paste was so far in the back of my throat it almost caused me to panic because it was blocking my airway in addition to swallow my extra saliva produced by this process. She provided me with a suction in hand this time and was going to be cautious of the airway with the paste. Well that did not happen. As soon as she placed the mold tray filled with paste onto the roof of my mouth, it was fine. They she pressed it down an extra amount which caused the paste to completely fill the back of my throat and block my airway. At this time, I'm signaling that I can't breathe and she's trying to force me to keep it in by holding my head!! That's when I ripped it out gagging and choking over the small dentist sink. I said repeatedly to the tech that she did not listen to what I said and I used a few cuss words to emphasize my complete disgust with her disregard for my rights of being held against my will and her not listening to anything I told her prior to starting the process again. As if this was not bad enough, the ratings drop even lower about how I was treated afterwards. I requested a full refund, which I was given that day. Then behind me, Dr. Jeremy appeared and said he heard that I was not happy. Was there anything I wanted to discuss? At that point, I said no, I just want a refund and refused to further engage him because I was so upset. And I said my husband is here right now for the first time. Just make sure you give him better service than you did me today. After that I never heard anything from the Dentist office and my husband signed up for this huge deep cleaning program with them and began his treatment. Still no word from the dentist about the incident so i decided to give them another shot. I decided not to let this one negative ruin their past 5 star rating with me, well it came time for my daughter to get her cleaning, I scheduled her appointment and then asked if there was anyway to look at one of my front teeth I was having issues with. So they did for the next day which was unheard of for a dentist. Unfortunately the dentist called the evening before and left a voicemail which I did not get until the next morning after the receptionist called me 2 hours before my appointment. Here is the reason why I'm writing this review. After a month of no communication from this dental office, not even to follow up on what happened or offer any apologies for how I was treated, the doctor told the receptionist that I refused to continue service with him. I never once said that while I there at my last appointment I just got my refund and left my husband there to finish. I did not continue discussing the matter with Jeremy when he approached as I knew I was too upset and was just ready to leave in disgust. So the voicemail he left after the receptionist said that he would refer me to someone else because I cancelled my service with him ( not true) did not even state that he was refusing to see me either. It just said that he was confused and wanted to know what is going on as he saw me on the schedule and last I told him I dismissed myself from practice, which is BS. In closing, I expect more from a dentist where I have spend years and several thousands of dollars with to communicate and at least follow up when real issues arise. read more

He's also personable, calm, and thorough in his explanations. His expertise, his state-of-the-art office, and his amazing staff are a testament to his consummate professionalism. Both my husband and I have had bad experiences here and would not recommend going as we both have been left with issues caused by this practice that will need to be resolved elsewhere. I went in for a couple simple fillings and now I have been seen by them 3 different times with pain in the areas that never went away. The last time I was there to try and get the issue resolved I was told that he didn't see an issue and he didn't know what to do! So I left with constant pain in both teeth they worked on, (I was in absolutely no pain before hand). My husband also got a filling around the same time I did, towards the end of the procedure Dr said something along the lines of he made a mistake and possibly went too deep so now my husband may need to get a root canal, which they told him as he was leaving there wouldn't be a charge for due to the mistake but he keeps getting a $300 bill in the mail. He has also been in pain since his visit to this office. Im all for supporting small businesses but in this case I would recommend somewhere more well known like PR dental care where I've had all my previous work done with no issues. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this practice and its people. They are professional, kind, courteous, and excellent at executing the finest dental care. My latest example: I recently had to have one of my front teeth extracted and prepared for an implant. Dr. Landsford made me a 'flipper' --a fake tooth on a retainer, to wear until my mouth heals well enough to install the implant. The flipper was slightly too large and a little off color; it needed some adjustment before I could wear it. Dr. Landsford knew that my son's wife was expecting a baby any minute, so he rushed me in and adjusted the tooth to absolute perfection so that I wouldn't leave town with a missing tooth! All this during Covid-19...when people are usually lucky to just get treated. I love this practice and its people. So glad to have found them, and can't recommend them more highly. read more

The dentist office of Dr. Lansford in my experience Was not a pleasant one. They scheduled my appointments And they were unable to coordinate the correct dates & times. This happened several times. As a patient, I was frustrated with The inability to make the appointments. I spoke to staff and the Dentist, Dr Lansford about the problem. Several weeks later I received A personal letter from Dr. Lansford. He told me to never come back. He did not even have the time to call me or return my calls. I was a Patient of Dr. Davis for 25years, I understnd he can treat anyone, For that reason I would not recommend him. I am certain they will Delete this as soon as they see it. I was visiting Paso Robles from Orange County and called this office (and many others) in a hysterical panic after falling and badly chipping my front 2 teeth. Every other office was very rude to me and didn't want to see a new patient on a Friday afternoon. The staff at this office was SO understanding and so nice! Despite a full schedule they told me to come in anyways and the doctor would fit me in so my vacation wasn't ruined. The office was so nice and so was doctor! Dr Jeremy fixed both of my teeth to perfection and was even super helpful with providing a discount since I didn't have insurance at the time and was a cash patient. The hygienist was a sweetheart and she was meticulous and very thorough when cleaning my teeth and was top notch! Dr. Jennifer gave me an evaluation and she was honest about what was going on with my teeth and not trying to scare me into paying for extra work that I didn't need. There was a slight misunderstanding with the procedures I requested and payment, but was straightened out without any problems and they were very professional about it. I'm not a big reviewer, but today's teeth cleaning experience deserves noting! I am overly impressed with the Lanaford Dental Group. I recently moved to the area and finding new doctors is a time-consuming challenge. First I got my 10 year old twins into the orthodontist and pediatric dentist - no problems there. And now it's my turn so I looked for a referral from the above. I was given 3-4 names, and luckily, picked Dr. Lansford! my introductory visit was so thorough that I booked teeth cleaning for today. Now, I've had my teeth cleaned regularly since a child and I have NEVER, I say NEVER, had such a thorough, professional, get-down-and-dirty cleaning - using th very latest and gentlest equipment. Lisa is a pro who loves her work and takes tremendous pride in doing it right. She took over an hour with me, delving into each and every nook and cranny and cleaning my teeth so thoroughly I couldn't believe it. I am moving my children's care to thus office as well. I have often wondered why their cleaning takes10 minutes or less. Lisa explained: possibly their technician is only rated to "polish" teeth - not "scale" them. For the same price, wht not also get them thoroughly cleaned and scaled, if necessary. I'm going to give it a try. read more
