Many restaurants now a days does not do this, for some reason they do not care. Walter Heinrich the Food & Beverage Director expressed a honest concern about our experience, addressed it and he made it right. I commend him for this. We had dinner here last night. The service was good and the food was great. We all tried something new and everyone was very please with their selection. The Tuscan Chicken sandwich is fabulous. My wife had the Par Five salad which she said was outstanding. My fiend had the Short ribs which he said were very tender and flavorful. His wife had the Stuffed Haddock which was also very good. We had the Jamaican Jerk Wings which were very good, most with a lot of flavor. As most people know Cole Slaw is either really good or bad, there is never a in between. I asked if I could try some before I ordered it. This was no problem at all and Linda brought me a sample. It is very good, not dry and has great flavor. We will return here again because the food and the service were very good. I have been told that they have a great Sunday Brunch. The sushi menu was larger than I expected and the two rolls we ordered were delicious. The sizing of the sushi wasn't very consistent, but it had good flavor. The steak tips were cooked well. The garlic mashed potatoes didn't taste very garlicky to me, but it was okay.

Hubby and I ordered some drinks, my cider was really good. Forgot the brand, but it was mango something. He had the stake tips, and they looked good , cooked perfectly. Medium rare. We also had the pork gyoza and they were tasty. Now, here comes the issue. The menu is very international, from American fare to Asian cuisine (sushi). I decided to order their queso birria tacos (quesadilla). Now, I am very familiar with this dish and the original version. I did not think they would not know what or how to make it. When I got the plate it looked okay, but it wasn't like the real Version (corn tortilla fried in the fat skimmed from the broth. The beef was good, and overall it was okay. But, u would never get that again. I would just stick to the regular food, like Fish and chips which was my second option. Overall it was good. I just know better when I visit again.

After a long afternoon of shopping, my friends and I built up and appetite. We wanted something…read morequick that would calm our hunger for the drive home to RI. One of my friends was more familiar with the area and recommended we come here. She ordered a plate of fried pork with tostones, some guisado de res, and white rice. The total was around $20 which was fair for the portion sizes. The guisado was a bit oily but the flavor was really good and the meat was very tender. Since the tostones did not come with a sauce, we ended up dunking them in the guisado. The tostones were on the thicker side but crispy and tasty. The fried pork was good, although maybe a little bland. The lime helped a little bit with bringing out the flavor. The white rice was good. They offer a small, medium, and large portion - small was good as a snack for 3 people. I would come back and try more of their menu items. They have a parking lot, but it was packed and the snow didn't help. There is also street parking. It is in a lively part of town, so I enjoyed people watching while eating in the car.

There's a large dining/ bar area and a takeout side with a few tables. We ordered the sancocho and rabo guisado (Oxtails), with white rice and plantains. The sancocho was pretty good. It had a lot of meat and vegetables, the white rice was perfectly cooked. I thought the sancocho had a bit too much garlic in the seasoning, but it was still great, especially since it was rainy and a bit chilly. The Oxtails were simply amazing! They were extremely tender and practically falling off the bone. The sauce was seasoned perfectly and paired well with the white rice. I've never had Oxtails this good at a restaurant. They tasted just like when mom recipe takes hours and hours to make since you want to cook it long enough for the meat to become tender. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food came pretty quickly. Prices were very reasonable. If I'm back in the area, I will definitely return and order the Oxtails.
