Lunch with friends. Wife had hot and sour soup, egg rolls, spring roll, and side of lomein. I had pot stickers (very small) and sizzling black pepper fish. All was very good.

Perfect dining in experience for COVID-19. Tables spaced and employees wore masks and digital menus. Our meal was tasty and plentiful. I had shrimp egg foo young which was enough for two meals. My egg roll had chicken, not made with pork. It was okay, not crunchy. Hubby ordered black pepper chicken. It was lean and lots of flattened pieces sauté in a delicious sauce and sliced onions. He enjoyed it very much and I tasted it and it was very flavorful.

What does one do when their family members become sick and cancel Christmas dinner? You go to a Chinese restaurant. My hubby and I experienced just that. We have always loved. Lantern for a long time. They opened up at noon Christmas Day. A few minutes after taking some pics of this establishment, people entered in droves. The place was packed! Their lunch specials weren't available today only dinner entrees. Which is great! Gave his extra food for dinner too it save for tomorrow. I ordered their Mu Shu Chicken with steamed rice, my hubby ordered Lantern Chicken Food was especially tasty, staff very friendly and playing Christmas music. Such a beautiful serene atmosphere a place to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal.

Clean your carpets or replace them. Food is still good but the cleanliness of the place is absolutely disgusting.

Two words - Daniel and noodles !! Handmade that is …read more.. Usually you find these kind of places on the west coast and I normally seek assistance with understanding the menu. Daniel made it so easy tonight for my husband and I . We've always said we wanted to try it - our 2026 is about doing it , not talking about it . He recommended the XiXia stirred noodle with beef and mentioned they make their own soy for it . I wanted to try the hot pot noodles . We got to choose wide or thin noodles (they're fresh !!). We got wide for the stirred and thin for the hot pot . We also ordered the pork , shrimp and chive dumplings . First of all - the handmade dumplings . DAng . I don't think I'll ever get BIBIGO again with this place so close . Melt in your mouth delicious . and they were large . We totally loved both noodle dishes . Stirred noodles were the hit - the sauce is homemade and they were wonderfully tender and dang that homemade garlic/soy sauce !! They should bottle it . The hot pot noodles were awesome . Like a lo mein but not even close because the noodles are handmade . And can we talk about the beef ? Not chewy at all . Lots of Chinese beef dishes have chew to them . This was melt in your mouth tender . We loved both love Thai food and my husband said this blows Thai paradise away( noodle dishes ) . I agree . Handmade noodles will always win . We'll definitely be back . And with family/ employees like Daniel , XiXia is sure to win and gain so many more customers . He is awesome !!!!

We ordered a bunch of soupy pork buns (XLB)- hands down the favorite for the kids. They took a little longer to come out but everything else was quick. I got the Spicy Beef Stew Noodle with wide handmade noodles and baby bok choy. The Szechuan peppercorn spice hit just right-- tingly and balanced. The noodles were bouncy with a perfect bite, the bone broth was rich, and there was plenty of meat (a few pieces a bit tough, but still solid overall). Hubs got the Curry Chicken lunch special and cleaned his plate. Service was great. They default to forks, so ask for chopsticks and soup spoons if you prefer them. Ordering is through a tablet, which keeps things moving and you pay at the counter. Everyone left full and happy, which is really all you need to know. NOTES/TIPS: **Wheelchair-accessible. Easy parking in shared plaza lot. **Clean bathrooms. **Bonus: their takeout containers are high quality and reusable.

Went there for lunch, friend recommended…read more I went there once before, it said open at 11am, and...is not So this is the second time, giving them a second chance. First of all, if you never been here before, you just going to keep on driving, even tho is located in a plaza , big parking lot, but if you look at all businesses in the plaza, all are signs "open", welcoming, here? Is all super dark, windows are all cover, more like a sign saying "go away" we closed When I walked in, I just stood there, no one greeted me, no host by the front. One of the server saw me and told me to take a seat anywhere. I'm only there for lunch, so I look at the lunch menu. Now here is the thing. I believe every restaurant should only serve one type of food, meaning if you want to serve Chinese food, Chinese food only, if you want to serve Steak, Steak and Lobster only, don't do Thai and so Italian or Vietnamese and Gyro, this place is Chinese and...Thai, and they got a Mexican serving me, okay, is like so what are you? Friend of mine told me they also serve Vietnamese coffee, I asked, he said only Thai coffee, okay, no big deal. Ordered a drink, asked for a a straw, nope, don't have it, asked me if I want a to go cup, a restaurant don't have straw? Thats your only one job, order everything you need for the "restaurant". To me, that's a very poor management, because when you owing a business, you do not and never wait until everything is out to reorder, when ever your products are running low, not out, you reorder Poor experience

This was a weird one, but a good meal in the end. Do not trust your GPS to take you here. I used…read moretwo different map apps, and they both took me to the old Eastland mall. This is at Eastland Square, which is just south of Refugee on Hamilton, about half a mile from the big derelict mall. I called, and they directed me here. The address on Yelp says Eastland Square, but it takes you, at least on my phone, to big old Eastland Mall. Once I got there, the sign was faded, and half of the restaurant was filled with supplies. So I was a little leery. But, hungry, so I ordered. Pretty standard menu, although I did not see crab Rangoon on there. I ended up with a combination, which is an entrée plus rice plus eggroll. They also have lunch specials that I think don't include the eggroll. For 10 bucks I got a lot of Mongolian beef, a lot of rice, and a pretty small egg roll. The eggroll and the rice were fine, nothing special. The Mongolian beef was unusual. I've had one or two before that were a little spicy, or that had extra veggies in them. But this one had a sauce that I almost wouldn't have guessed was a Mongolian type sauce, close, but a little more citrusy, maybe, and with a little heat in there. Not crazy, but then I like heat. There were the usual onions and green onions, but also carrots, snow peas, mushrooms, baby corn, I think I saw a cucumber, sprouts, and probably more. There was a decent amount of beef, but not a ton, but there just wasn't room with all the veggies. It was tender, but not that soy - salty Mongolian flavor I'm used to. Still, the whole thing was pretty darn good. I also got fried scallops since I needed a non-healthy item to replace the crab Rangoon, and they were fine, a big portion, soft frozen discs fried up nicely. Service is just at the counter, behind Covid era plastic and little doors. They seem to do a steady takeout business. If I lived nearby, I would definitely be back.

The chicken seemed overly crispy on the war sue gai and the orange chicken. The rice was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The chicken lo mein was very pleasing and flavorful. Loved the bean sprouts and that it wasn't dry. Service was okay, the gentleman took our order outside the kitchen door with his arms crossed. Correctly received everything too. I would try again to see about the overly crispiness on a daily basis.
