They will talk you through your spice level, allergies, etc.. the noodles, sauces and broths are all homemade. The staff is a 10/10

Our first time here and it was great! We will be back. Make sure to try the eggrolls and salt and pepper chicken as well.

I was pleasantly surprised with the service, food quality and authenticity of the dishes. We ordered the spicy beef noodles, stewed pork rice, and dumplings and everything was phenomenal. The noodles were handmade with the perfect consistency and the stewed pork was perfectly tender. Our food also arrived very quickly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Chinese food. Hope they open more locations soon!

Tucked between a Cold Stone and a kid's salon, XIXIA isn't a place you'd expect to find standout Chinese food -- but it quietly delivers. The inside is calm, clean, and low-key. I was greeted right away, told to sit anywhere, and brought a cold glass of water almost immediately. Service was kind, patient, and not pushy. They use a tablet to order -- the layout is simple, with photos for every dish. A printed menu would've helped with planning, but it's easy enough to navigate on the spot. I ordered: * Yibin Fire Noodles (+ fried egg) * Salt & Pepper Chicken The noodles had a mild kick and real depth -- garlic, preserved veg, and a smoky richness that tasted more authentic than expected for a strip mall spot. The fried egg was overcooked and unseasoned, but once I added salt and pepper, it held its own. The salt & pepper chicken was the standout. Fresh, juicy (felt like thigh meat), lightly crispy, and well-seasoned. It came with sweet & sour sauce in a silicone-lidded container I weirdly loved -- clean and easy to use. Solid 3.5 stars with clear potential to go up. XIXIA isn't flashy, but it's flavorful. If you're nearby or craving something more grounded than trendy, it's worth the stop.

Two words - Daniel and noodles !! Handmade that is ... Usually you find these kind of places on the west coast and I normally seek assistance with understanding the menu. Daniel made it so easy tonight for my husband and I . We've always said we wanted to try it - our 2026 is about doing it , not talking about it . He recommended the XiXia stirred noodle with beef and mentioned they make their own soy for it . I wanted to try the hot pot noodles . We got to choose wide or thin noodles (they're fresh !!). We got wide for the stirred and thin for the hot pot . We also ordered the pork , shrimp and chive dumplings . First of all - the handmade dumplings . DAng . I don't think I'll ever get BIBIGO again with this place so close . Melt in your mouth delicious . and they were large . We totally loved both noodle dishes . Stirred noodles were the hit - the sauce is homemade and they were wonderfully tender and dang that homemade garlic/soy sauce !! They should bottle it . The hot pot noodles were awesome . Like a lo mein but not even close because the noodles are handmade . And can we talk about the beef ? Not chewy at all . Lots of Chinese beef dishes have chew to them . This was melt in your mouth tender . We loved both love Thai food and my husband said this blows Thai paradise away( noodle dishes ) . I agree . Handmade noodles will always win . We'll definitely be back . And with family/ employees like Daniel , XiXia is sure to win and gain so many more customers . He is awesome !!!!

    Curry Chicken Over Rice

Stopped in for the first time. It is a big improvement from the previous Chinese restaurant that occupied this space. Service is good and all staff was friendly. I got their Curry Chicken Over Rice and it was flavorful along with a nice presentation. I do feel it was a little pricey for portion size, however. They have an array of soups/noodles that I would like try. Looking forward to trying more items.

Receipt for proof and value for the dollar!

Another extremely average tasting meal. Chicken dry with barely 3 oz of protein, egg rolls still laden with grease. Went for takeout at my family's insistence, have reviewed here before and status of anything other than noodles remains unchanged. Prompt order preparation shows they care about service but not in food preparation and taste, extremely average tasting food. Cost of this dinner makes it a rather expensive mistake.

I've been to Xi Xia's Henderson Road (original) location; I'm incredibly happy to see a family owned business set up shop in Pickerington - and it's NOT a pizza joint! Dine-in, the gentleman brought me plate-utensils and a touch-pad, you order via the pad, can pay when you're done; also can make additions/extras and/or subtractions to your dish; also nice if you want to add on to your meal while in the middle of eating. I got the Curry Chicken, comes with rice and a fried egg and the Coconut Lava Custard Buns. Absolutely delish! Their curry dish is my main go-to at their first Kenny Rd. location, and it was just as good here. A great amount of protein, the sauce was really good; any dish that comes with a fried egg always gets my attention. These were the most authentic custard balls I've ever had. The center is actually liquid from the yolk, which was a first for me. They're not as sweet as others I've tried, and I loved this. They are sweet, don't get me wrong, but they obviously don't rely on pure sweetness to draw in tastebuds. Highly recommend you try them. The owner Daniel came out to check on my meal; great personality! Chatted for a few, he described their process to picking Pickerington, and he's totally right: Henderson Rd/Dublin are already represented well, same for Polaris area; that leaves Grove City and Pickerington, and this suburb doesn't have authentic Chinese/noodle cuisine represented at all. Yes, the take/home plastic containers are so cool and unique here too! I've found my new local spot when I'm craving Chinese and don't feel like driving to the northwest part of town.

So, I knew this location as Mr. O's but it's changed. I ordered the fried rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was delicious and tasted fresh! The oil was clean & it wasn't oily or greasy! The chicken fried rice was light, fluffy & delicious. I firhit yo ask for soy sauce but I got sweet & sour, homemade chili oil which wasn't very spicy & the spicy mustard. My food was under $15 & there's enough fried rice for pretty much two different meals! I will certainly be back & try the noodles@

I really wanted to like this place since there are not many good Chinese restaurants on the east side of town. There were 3 of us. You order at a table side kiosk that has pictures and if you click on the dish you get details. It was really annoying to scroll up scroll down click here click there. I prefer to see a menu all at once not on a tiny screen where I have to keep scrolling back and forth to narrow down my choice. Order is placed on the kiosk. They definitely don't understand that when people dine together they want to eat at the same time. Mine came out so I started eating. About 7-8 minutes later my son's came out and minutes later my husband's came out. I think they can only cook one thing at a time. I really don't remember the names of the dishes. My description did not say that it would be served cold so I did not eat it all since it wasn't good. If it had been steaming hot it would have been ok. I took one look at my son's dish and pretty and could barely look at. Like me he pulled out the meat ate a few noodles but couldn't bring himself to eat it . My husband didn't mind his - something breaded and fried with chicken but terribly spicy. Our server saw barely eaten food but didn't even care to ask if something was wrong. Glad we gave it a try but will not be back.

Update from previous review: So, besides the flies flying around, I was charged extra for egg on my dish. The egg itself was cold and premade is my thought. In fact, I have a feeling a big batch of everything is premade and just microwaved as the orders come thru. The to go containers are no longer the high quality cool ones, and on my last visit, I ordered a homemade soy milk thinking it said homemade milk tea with soy milk. I paid for it but only drank like 1/5th of it. Not a fan of just drinking milk with dinner. I got a pop and actual milk tea instead. When I left, one of the workers there who had to be bothered to clear the table instead of microwaving food, serving cold eggs, and watching his phone made a comment (not in English of course) about me not drinking the milk. Frankly I think they are just phoning it on these days. Grabbing cash and putting out inferior food and experience. I have not tried their noodles which are supposedly hand made and good for cold weather but I doubt I'll make any special trips like my last two subpar visits. The food tastes "good enough" but, that's not enough for me to keep coming back.

Xi Xia is finally opened! I saw the coming soon sign a few weeks ago, so I've been on the lookout for their grand opening. I've been to their first location on Kenny Rd before so I know the food is solid. My go-tos are the Szechuan Dan Dan noodle and the stewed pork over rice. They're so flavorful! The spicy beef noodle soup is actually pretty spicy so it's great if you can handle your spice (I get it with the flat noodle). I got it as takeout this time and their packaging is so cute and convenient! I usually dislike getting soup noodle as takeout because it's such a hassle sometime to put it together at home, but with this, you can just pour the soup bowl right into the noodle bowl. No mess. 10/10 would recommend! I'm so happy with this addition to Pickerington.

The decor is pretty simplistic, although the furniture is beautiful. It looks pretty dark outside, and the neon "open" sign is the only indication that they're open. We were seated quickly, as it was empty when we arrived, although two more couples showed up after us. We ordered our favorites, chicken tikka masala for me, palak (saag) paneer for him. As an appetizer, we had puri with a vegetable curry that was AMAZING. I wish we'd ordered more of that, because the rest of our food was a bit underwhelming. Well, he enjoyed his saag paneer, even though it was made differently than he was used to. My chicken tikka masala was VERY buttery, which was very odd for me, and not what I'm used to. I wanted to like it, but I couldn't. The Service was okay, but when we got the check, the prices were ALL different than what was listed on the menus that were handed to us. When we pointed out the discrepancy, all we got was "well, the prices are correct in our computer, would you like to see?" No, but you should PRINT NEW MENUS WITH UPDATED PRICING, instead of gaslighting your customers for a problem that you created and refuse to properly fix. Ridiculous. Eat somewhere else, ideally at a place with the CORRECT prices listed on the menu.

Went there for lunch, friend recommended…read more I went there once before, it said open at 11am, and...is not So this is the second time, giving them a second chance. First of all, if you never been here before, you just going to keep on driving, even tho is located in a plaza , big parking lot, but if you look at all businesses in the plaza, all are signs "open", welcoming, here? Is all super dark, windows are all cover, more like a sign saying "go away" we closed When I walked in, I just stood there, no one greeted me, no host by the front. One of the server saw me and told me to take a seat anywhere. I'm only there for lunch, so I look at the lunch menu. Now here is the thing. I believe every restaurant should only serve one type of food, meaning if you want to serve Chinese food, Chinese food only, if you want to serve Steak, Steak and Lobster only, don't do Thai and so Italian or Vietnamese and Gyro, this place is Chinese and...Thai, and they got a Mexican serving me, okay, is like so what are you? Friend of mine told me they also serve Vietnamese coffee, I asked, he said only Thai coffee, okay, no big deal. Ordered a drink, asked for a a straw, nope, don't have it, asked me if I want a to go cup, a restaurant don't have straw? Thats your only one job, order everything you need for the "restaurant". To me, that's a very poor management, because when you owing a business, you do not and never wait until everything is out to reorder, when ever your products are running low, not out, you reorder Poor experience
