Oh yeah, now I see why the line goes out near Berhman Highway. Well partly because of the six feet social distancing lol but mainly for the absolutely delicious seafood this place serves. This is my second time here and I cannot tell you how good the crawfish are seasoned. The first order of crawfish were super good n' spicy (just how I like it) but this second order wasn't as spicy but has a kick. Now, if spicy ain't yo thang, don't get them but if it is, you ought to treat yourself to a few pounds of them. The crawfish boudin was pretty good. Tasted more like a crawfish sausage with very little rice but seasoned well. Oh and they also have boiled shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage and other stuff. I've tried a lot of different crawfish seafood spots locally and I would say this would be one of my top five spots to go to. The bad thing is I hate that there's a real long line with people requesting separate bags with 1-2-3 lbs in each. That's really annoying and wish the employees would move a bit more quicker. read more

ALWAYS OUTSTANDING CRAWFISH!!!! Spicy just how we love it! The flavors are robust!!!! We also love the shrimp, sometimes can be just a tad overcooked in their shells and hard to peel but still so delicious!!! Their very seasoned red potatoes are mouth-watering delicious!! We LOVE lots of spice on potatoes and they don't shy from this! We usually pass on the corn as it's just a bit soggy for our taste, but to each their own. The staff is always amazingly friendly, like a neighbor! And they always pick up the phone and kindly answer any questions. It's also admirable how many times they can pull out hot crawfish in a single day during random times! They definitely know what they're doing!! We go hear several times throughout the year! Until crawfish season is over lol. They limit capacity to 3 people inside to order for Covid safety and have a plastic board up between register for more safety. Masks required. Enjoy!!!!! Not all seafood places are created equal! Lapalco Seafood is the "diamond in the rough" for seafood in an area where there are many options. It sits smack dab in the middle of a car wash and a strip mall. Parking can either be done, in the 4 spaces in front or in the strip mall nearby. The service is to go, only. The 2 times I went, I was able to order promptly and my food was out in under 5 minutes. I'm very redundant so I ordered turkey neck, corn, sausage, and 2 lbs of shrimp, both times. Both times everything was VERY delicious and fresh. My biggest problem when trying seafood places, is the turkey necks are sometimes tough on the outer layer. That was NOT the case here. I had no difficulty and my turkey neck was exceptionally juicy and the meat was not tough at all. I will definitely continue visiting this place because the mixture of excellent customer service, courteous employees, and tasty food makes it hard to pass up! read more

At first I thought this place was good until Mardi Gras Day I ordered 4 lbs of crawfish. While I was eating the crawfish , my friend realized there was a spider in the platter. Not a small spider but a big spider. It was boiled with the crawfish, I took the platter back to the place and told them there was a spider in it . They asked if I wanted more I told them no so they gave me the money for what was left. The workers thought it was funny and cool , they made comments saying "you should see it when we have baby snakes in it" as well asking if this happened before. I told them no , absolutely not . I'm very upset that a seafood restaurant would sell crawfish in open season for $5.99lb and they are baby crawfish that should have been left to grow at least to become a teenager. So I always go to this place and place big orders but I'm done with this place so I have my own business and I throw a lot of crawfish boils doing the summer time and the last few times I went they were very rude and mean I told them that the last two times I came that the crawfish was cold i don't know how that happened my guess is that they were mixing old crawfish with new crawfish so I started going early being the first one there while they are still cooking but keep in mind u can't see in the back so the lady said here take the number start calling in your orders cause they big orders I said ok no problem ms Pauldine or something like that the lady who has the black Benz really skinny long white hair so when my assistant would call she said they would put her on hold for like ten minutes I said that crazy she would call back every time they put her hold keep in mind we spend over 300$ here so we left to go over there when we get there it's signs all over the wall saying we can't keep crawfish hot 24/7 so that let's me know other people were saying they was getting cold crawfish as well I normally buy all the pork boudins so I get there and I tell them that I have a large order and they said y didn't u call I said we called five times each time y'all put us on hold ten minutes never came back to the phone nobody clam to have talk to us but one lady she was honest so I then tell her I need to feed spend at least 200$ just for crawfish and I need a case of pork boudins she said they was out of pork boudins all together I then said I needed a case of sausage cause it's 32 in a case as I'm telling the older lady my order the lady in the back comes out and acts like she does not even know me her mom said this is the gentleman with the big order I said she knows me I come here all the time always leave a 20$ tip in the jar and I always see her at the casino in high limit all the time well they was very rude and just was rushing me to place my order I said why are y'all being so mean and rude to me I'm spending over 300+$ then they all with to the back gossiping and I stayed in the front talking to the lady at the counter for ten minutes she said I don't think they comeing back to take your order ok I said ok and left how rude mean disrespectful can't handle a big order u should not be in business read more
