I thought I had shorted out a Dell XPS desktop while replacing a hard drive. Would start and then…read morejust shut off. Swapped back the old drive and it just wouldn't stay on for one minute. Dropped off the PC for a diagnostic check and didn't get two minutes down the road and it was back alive. Apparently some capacitor needed to discharge!
